      I have requested specific pros according to their availability, and then at the last minute, the job gets picked up by someone else I don't know, and typically they don't do a good job cleaning.The company should notify the customer when a pro assigned to the job is no longer available instead of forcing you to either accept the new pro (who may or may not do a good job) or reschedule the cleaning and be charged a ridiculous $50 late rebooking fee. That's almost half of what they charge to clean my tiny studio.I have tried calling customer service several times, and they pass you around and put you on hold as soon as they figure out that you want to cancel.Now, after a 4th attempt, I am on the phone with an agent who wants to reassign my cleaning instead of canceling the service like I already asked. This is infuriating!

      Ii would have given 5 stars. But today has been a complete fail. Unfortunately this is the only way to get warranty service through Lowes. Brand new ceiling fan, not used even 3 weeks. First service representative was very nice, fast service I stalling 5 fans. When this warranty came up to come back, he even showed up sooner than appointment to look at the issue. I was scheduled today. For service through an appointment with Handy. I received messages today they rescheduled me. They were to pick up the warranty fan at Lowes. I had spoken to Lowrs last week, who was holding a fan for service tech. Now the soonest they can get someone here is tomorrow because all of their appointments are booked. I was scheduled today and Handy dropped the ball!

      You KNOW you're in trouble when ****** Home Improvement sends out an installer who was contracted through **** and the dude has to go on ******* to figure out how to install your Nest thermostat. #error message front and center and the dude says, "ok. all done!" The installer even asked US to borrow OUR tools! Horrible service. If this is how Lowes handles installations we're headed back to ***********

      Handy uses a private server capable of changing the and having total control of the contractor's info as well as the private info of the clients. The contractors get in touch with the client via phone and the phone number of the client is displayed falsely by being replaced by a different number. Example " the original phone number of the client is 617 **& **** .....Handy technologies displays to the contractor the client's number as 857 289 ****The contractor's number is hidden from the client and the phone number of the contractor is also replaced by a false number. I was lucky to have asked a client, because I was forced to do so many things that I didn't want to do but they had penalties wich allowed them to take $160 off my account for a job I couldn't do because it was 6 hours long and I was exhausted.

      Not sure if I can give it 0 stars. Same situation as 1 below. 1st appointment they cancelled 50 minutes b4, then randomly rescheduled. Pro had an emergency. Picked better day. Never showed up. Called after an hour. Was told they were running 2 hours behind for a 9:30am appt. Still didnt show so I called Handy again. Was then told *** went home sick. Today didnt even get a message saying they were coming, which was suspicious. Sure enough an hour b4 appointment pro had another emergency. Now they want to come Saturday(4th weekend), which is exactly why I got set. Bought on June 3rd, delivered shortly after. Still sitting outside. Ridiculous. How are they allowed to stay in business.?

      Handy is a pretty terrible company. Whenever you have an issue, they are very ****** about it and don't help. For example, I often have cleaners show up late or not at all, no refunds given, only the option to reschedule.Pay more for better service elsewhere.

      Id leave a ZERO STAR review if I could scheduled a ceiling fan installation through Lowes on March 19, 2023 and it is STILL not done (today is June 20, 2023). *** had several appointments where the so-called pro never came. When I call customer service, I get told oh, they were there. I was home and I have a doorbell camera. No, they were not. Never do business with them. Next time, Ill find an independent local handyman

      I would give no stars or negative if I could. I scheduled an appointment in advance, I sent pictures of the 6 lousy bars I needed them to attach to the item, they were going to charge me $117 for 6 bars to be attached and decided to cancel 2 hours via email, not phone or text, who checks emails on a Saturday morning? After much sighing from customer service they agreed to refund my monies. They are unreliable, and not pleasant to work with. Stay away.
