My daughter had a subscription and she canceled the subscription in December. They claimed that she did not cancel the subscription and stole $99.99 from her! They are refusing to refund her money back to her. They claim that they have a no refund policy. So convenient for them to claim that she did not cancel her subscription. They do not allow you to talk to a human being. You can only talk to an AI system.Business Response

Hi,
This is a digital subscription renewal that the user agreed to upon purchasing: *********************************************************.
The subscription will automatically renew after the period ends unless canceled at least 24H before the renewal date. A reminder email of the renewal was sent, and since no cancellation was registered in the account, the renewal was processed accordingly.
Please have the original account holder reach out to us via ********************************** for more information.
For privacy protection reasons, we can only provide information about a user's account or data when the question comes directly from the registered email address due to our product's personal nature.
To help them with this, I kindly ask that the customer reach out to us by writing directly from the email address registered in their account. They can find this by opening the app and going to the menu in the top left corner of their screen > My account > Email.
Kind regards, Natural Cycles

A Full Refund is required for this to be resolved! My daughter, ******* ********, canceled the subscription with more than enough time! She canceled at the beginning of December. They are dealing with me and not her because she is in nursing school and is extremely busy and because she was under 21 when she originally purchased the subscription and because I am very tenacious when it comes to being wronged by companies. If they need to look anything up, her email is:
***********************************
I knew this is how they would respond because now it is their word against our word. You dont get anything in writing stating that it has been canceled except just a quick little notification stating you have canceled. Theres nothing for us to pull. No email was sent by them. This is the trait of a horrible greedy company.
I want a full refund for my daughter. They have all the information on her checking account associated with her email. They quickly took it out so they can quickly return it!
Shame on them!*****************************

On April 24, 2024, I was solicited by NaturalCycles *************** | Tax ID: ********** d.b.a "Natural Cycles" to enter into a free trial period for their app, which was offered in connection with my recent purchase of an Oura ring. The invoice I received clearly states that the free trial period extends from April 25, 2024, to May 23, 2024. There was no additional information provided regarding the conclusion of the trial period, any subsequent charges, or the procedures for opting out of any subscription.Today, May 23, 2024, at approximately 10:25 AM EST, I was charged $119.99 without any prior notification or warning.Upon discovering this unauthorized charge, I promptly contacted Natural Cycles at *********************************** requesting a refund of the charged amount and the cancellation of my account. The response I received was as follows:"When you initially subscribed, you agreed that the annual subscription would automatically activate at the end of the free trial unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ended. As a friendly reminder, we sent you an email reminding you of this on May 12, 2024. Since you didnt cancel your subscription, it was activated accordingly. Our refund policy does not include refunds for subscriptions. Nevertheless, in order to avoid future charges, I have canceled the continued automatic renewal of your subscription."This response is inaccurate. I have no record of receiving an email on May 12, 2024, notifying me of an impending charge. Moreover, I contacted Natural Cycles immediately after the charge was posted.Customer Answer

The natural cycles app is incredibly expensive and is our chief method of birth control. This means it concerns life or death. The app is incredibly expensive and does not function properly most of the time, yet their customer service is virtually nonexistent. The only option is the most unhelpful and condescending faqs and a chat bot that will leave a message and have someone email you back, which then instantly claims to not recognize the email that we used for our account. We souble and triple checked our email entry was correct. There is literally no way to get in touch with a human, and again, birth control means life or death decisions.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:[Your Answer Here]
I am using the "partner" version of the app, this is the email address I use to download and manage my version. My partner's email that she used to buy the account also often returns a "no account found" message from your horrible AI bots. Any time the company sends their boiler plate "please contact support.naturalcycles" or whatever the email is, they are condescending and unhelpful if indeed we can ever actually reach a human being. Again, birth control is life & death, and their app, physical product, and customer service are all extremely bad.
Referring someone who might be facing pregnancy thanks 100% to your app's bad recommendations and information to a chat bot or email that might take days to reach a human if it reaches a human at all is extremely bad practice, which is why I have asked for BBB to investigate this business. They claim their product is more effective than many other birth control practices, "Natural Cycles is 93% effective with typical use and 98% effective with perfect use" meaning many users believe they can rely on this product & its recommendations as their sole birth control method. For it to not work, the actual human customer service team to be non-existent, and the ai FAQs to blame users for anything less than perfect data is beyond harmful business practices, it literally costs lives.
In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

I ordered the Natural Cycles Gen 3 themometer and paid $59.99 for the item. When the thermometer arrived, it did not work as promised. It did not sync with my app and was a big hassle to use (including physically as the probe area was too short to fit in my mouth comfortably). I wrote to support and tried all the "fixes" they listed; my Gen 3 still never synced to my app without taking my temperature multiple times, and/or using the history button, which eventually broke my app. I had to revert to using my old thermometer. Support told me to delete and reinstall my app, which I did. They also reset my app to remove the Gen 3 device at my request. As the Gen 3 NEVER once worked as promised, cost hours of hassle and support time, and was uncomfortable, I asked for a refund and to return the item. They refused. I told them I no longer wanted to use there service if they couldn't afford to refund faulty tech. They offered a "free month" off of my next subscription (saving about $5), which was about 11 months in the future. $5 off for a $60 item, is not acceptable. I want a refund for the faulty tech.Customer Answer

So I signed up for a Natural Cycles subscription roughly two years ago but then decided it was not for me, I didnt like the product at all, and I started using another form of birth control. I cancelled my subscription over a year ago but then I received another charge of $89.99 on my credit card yesterday. I reached out to customer service and let them know I was wrongfully charged and that they must have made a mistake because I cancelled my account last year! and They responded that they would not give me a refund and that I should have seen an email in my folder about the renewal date. But that is completely unfair because even if I had received an email from them it was mixed in with other promotional emails from them, I had not unsubscribed from their email list and I had already gone through this cancellation well over a year ago. So something is wrong here, they are obviously just taking my money! I simply want to be refunded my $89.99 back and for them to take my credit card / email address off of their file. This has wrongfully happened to me TWICE NOW, the first time I let them take my money but Twice now? This is absolutely unacceptable.Initial Complaint

My subscription to Natural Cycles auto-renewed for a full year, $89.99. I reached out to them within 10 minutes of the charge, and they still refuse to refund me. I have not been using the app nor do I intend to use it again. They dont allow you to cancel through the app. And in this case, the app IS the service. So to make you log onto the website, which youd never do to engage with the service, seems duplicitous. And there was no notification of auto renewal within the app itself. This is a womens health care app.Initial Complaint

I cancelled my subscription well over a year ago but received another charge of $89.99 on my credit card just two days ago. I joined this online services in 2021. I canceled my membership shortly after, in 2022. They didn't provide a refund for the rest of the year, no big deal. Suddenly today, without my consent, they have renewed my membership. And they refuse to refund me and refuse to remove my credit card on file. To make it worse. They were to have emailed me 60 days prior to this renewal. I have received no such communication from them, saying they will be charging my account on 1/1/23. I just want my money back!Customer Answer
