      My family and I completed 3 of the Radio Surveys that took a considerable amount of effort to do the right way. We were told we would receive compensation for our time. We did not. I feel it is up to the consumers of products and the participants of these surveys to warn others when we are lied to. I have always heard Nielsen was a reputable company and was very disappointed to find out that they apparently no longer keep their word. My time is a valuable asset as are others time. Dont waste it with empty promises. That time could have been spent actually earning money to help out less fortunate.

      The situation was rectified and apparently was a misunderstanding.  Nielsen is indeed the reputable company I thought they were.  Anything I need to do to let it be known this situation was rectified please let me know.

      I agreed to complete a radio station survey. They mailed me a small box with all instructions to complete. I received several phone calls from ******* making sure I got the survey packet and to be sure and return it by Thursday Oct *******. I completed and returned on 10/10/24. They made sure to tell me I would not receive payment if it was late. Not sure they took into consideration **** had a holiday 10/14/24, with mail not circulating. But nonetheless I did not receive payment for the survey. So very disappointed and wont be willing to help them again. Not reliable and trustworthy

      Nielsen Market Research I received an invitation from this company in July of this year for me to participate in their surveys. I received their equipment and I also spoke to one of their representatives about how to set up their equipment. The representative also explained the weekly incentives and bonuses I would receive for the points earned over the weekly amount. I earned over the weekly amount for August 2024 (which they say that they never received my points for. I am including the months dates and year 2024.August week 1 (406) week 2 (736) week 3 (829) week 4 (719)September week 1 (701) week 2 (782) week 3 (706) week 4 (685)October week 1 (749) week 2 (769) week 3 (788)This is the second time that I have had to contact them about this issue. I was told by the representative that weekly anything over 600 points I would receive a bonus. I have not received anything. In addition for October dates *****, I would receive an additional 60 points a day for every day I wore my meter. I would like this matter settled most amicably.Thank you,**** J. ****** III

      I am a contractor. I work on a 38 task platform doing consumption data. Nielsen offers you super deals during your tasks and you put money in to purchase the super deals and then you get your money back plus a comission. collect it. They are refusing to give me my money. I have several thousand usdc invested. Can you resolve this for me. I have stopped my contracting with Nielsen. This took place in the month of August, 2024

      This company will not stop sending me emails. I have unsubscribed from their mailing list over 5 times now the pst few months and I continue to receive emails. It is impossible to contact this company without agreeing to them using your contact data for more marketing. You cannot reply back to their emails and the contact portion of their page asks for A LOT of personal information, then puts a disclaimer that by sending your message request you are agreeing to giving your information away for marketing purposes and will be receiving marketing emails from the company. Wholeheartedly, if there was a way to safely contact them or actually unsubscribe from their emails, I would not be writing this. I have a photo documentation of a previous time I unsubscribed through their unsubscribing process and then sent a follow up email. I just unsubscribed again today.

      *** change in **************, removing Boston DMA. Without consideration the distance between Vermont's DMA and Boston's. ************** is closer to ****** than it is ********** and has always been in that market. Who do we contact to complain and put us back into the Boston market? I have emailed without success. Literally 2/10 of a mile (if that) it's the Boston market. How do we make this go back to the way it was. It my 45 years of living in ********************* has been the market. This change doesn't make sense. Your response to another post: Each year, The Nielsen Company analyzes viewing within every county in the country to determine which stations receive the majority of viewing and assigns each county to the appropriate DMATM region based on which stations receive the majority of viewing within the county. As a result, each DMATM region consists of those counties whose largest viewing share is to stations within that same market area.If ************** is given 1 Vermont "main channel" and the rest ******, it proves your response "...based on which stations receive the majority of viewing within the county." is false. Who do I contact at a state level? This affects those in ************** weather wise, because ************************** do NOT have the same weather as southern! EVER! But ****** does. So does ***********, ma - put us in that market if you have to.

      You are not able to change the Designated Market Area (DMA) of your home. However, according to the ********************************* (***) website, the *** is able to add stations to your local TV market through their recently established market modification process. Nielsen is not involved in the *** market modification process. You may wish to call the *** to find out more about their procedures. Their number is ************** ***************).

      I completed a survey, and never received the promised payment. If you receive one of their mailers regarding their survey, steer clear. The survey also took significantly longer than the estimated ***** minutes. I have tried calling them several times since, and they only answered the first time. All three of the calls since I got diverted to an automated message telling me to call back during business hours, despite the fact that I called during business hours on all three occasions. This company is scummy. Total scam!

      I have been volunteering to do Nielsen ratings for probably almost a year now and yesterday August 19th 2024 I called the ******* panel customer service to ask a couple questions. I got someone who was a foreigner I couldn't even hardly understand her and started to get very frustrated as she kept talking in circles so I finally told her that I couldn't understand her and then I hung up. I called back hoping to get somebody that spoke proper English and as soon as I told them started to say what had happened on the last call she didn't even want to hear it so I just hung up and gave up. Next thing I know I woke up today the 20th and they have put down that I am no longer a participant and deactivated my meter that I wear. I had asked for a supervisor to call me yesterday because of this communication issue but received no phone call nobody even got back to me they just deactivated me for no reason without even hearing my side of the story. We volunteered to do this I wore my meter every day from morning till night and this is the way of volunteer gets treated???? I would not volunteer for this company if I was anybody else if they don't even care to take care of your frustrations and have a supervisor call you and deal with it before they deactivate you.

      I Completed and returned 3 radio surveys , on time and complete . They were to pay $10 for EACH survey . When surveys were mailed to me and during the week of journaling for their surveys , i was called everyday by a real person to make sure i was planning to complete and return the survey . After they were mailed i received 4 robocalls telling me my journals were not received and i was not getting paid . I tried reachimg out to them and was told they dont do mail surveys . Then explain to me why they were mailed to me and i received several follow up calls . This is a problem not just for myself , this needs to be addressed not only by the BBB , but the *** as well . This is mail fraud at the very least.
