      I was excited to be a "Nielsen Family". I was receiving rewards every 6 months and everything was great. Then the rewards just stopped and no contact was ever made. I called and left messages that were never returned. Eventually when I left a nasty message about picking up their equipment they did call me back and supposedly set up an appointment to pick up their equipment. Needless to say the person never showed up on the scheduled date and time. 8 months have passed and I now have disposed of the equipment as abandoned per ******* laws. Now after all this time their rep is calling me to make a time to get the equipment that no longer exists.This company is about as organized as a disaster. I will never trust them again.

      They wasted 5 hours of my time (10 hours of their time...2 people) trying to install their monitoring equipment. They were supposed to come back and finish today...to take less than 2 hours. Instead, they showed up and took their equipment away...which is not what they told me they would do. So, I wasted 5 hours originally and allocated another 2 hours today. If you are asked to be a participant, DONT DO IT!

      I had them. I thought it was cool. Well. Not any more. They have ******* me over. I have been trying to get them to come get there equipment. Yet they haven't. I'm ****** because they told me not to report or tell anyone about me using them and I get a fucking letter from SSI stating that Nielsen sent them something and now my daughters disability is on line. Never thought I'd be in this situation. I am beyond ******. Will not ever recommend them to anyone.

      Completed the survey and they never emailed me the $5 gift card. I thought this was supposed to be legit but I think they just scammed me for a bunch of my personal information. ??

      I completed my survey on 9/24 . I did NOT receive any emails from them containing an electronic gift card within 3 business days. I called their customer service number on 9/29. They said it had been sent on 9/26. I checked all of my inboxes (including spam) and found nothing. Their representative said a case was started and would be resolved within 3 to 7 business days. We are now past that limit. I called Nielsen again. They said it was emailed on 9/30. We verified the email address was correct. I asked them to send me an email while I was on the phone with them. I received it within 5 seconds with my $20 gift card attached. So, why did a simple resend work while I was on the phone, but failed 2 prior times?I'm starting to think this is all a scam. They tried to make me feel it was my fault. Nielsen has yet to show me any integrity. Frankly, I feel like I was just taken advantage of.

      Nielsen sent me $1 and they would send me a $20 E CARD for doing a survey online for about30 minutes I received. Nothing. Didn't think they would do this.. as they never did before. I literally exchanged my personal information to get extra money .

      Called me multiple times. I took the call very quickly on the other line while I was on the phone, but when I realized it was just a ************** from across the country trying to waste my time, I told him I was on the other line and I couldnt talk. He said then why did you answer your phone if you cant talk so rude. Then he said when can I call back I said I dont even know who you are dude he said Well I was trying to explain that to you and youre telling me youre on the other line What an absolute jerk. Get a life. ****************

      company that harvests your data with claims to pay you in rewards and gift cards which is ultimately pennies on the dollar for personal data worth much more than people understand. They gave me 4 dollars in the mail which was nice. Also promised to activate a 50 dollar gift card for just taking a phone call. Took the phone call but refused the services and ultimately the gift card was never activated even after asking for it. On the plus side agent was very friendly and professional but sales tactics are shady and aggressive downright comparable to a scam. Dont waste your time with these people

      This company has sent more then 5 different people to my residence. Ive told them multiple times I am not interested or want anything to do with what they are offering. I was more aggressive this time and told the agent not to come back to my residence. She told me they would continue to come to bother me about nothing! Leave me alone! I work hard and want to enjoy my time off after work!

      I live within the ***** Bay area and the tech that came to hook up the equipment has to this day no clue how networking actually works and needed to call for help from their tech support team. The call center people don't read any notes on the accounts before calling you all times of the day to "ask you questions" which they are only supposed to do quarterly as per the information packet they give you upon setting up an account with them. I am giving a one-star rating due to the fact that they kept shorting our quarterly promised amount (check) because their equipment didn't work half the time and record the data they have been collecting from our tv habits. The tech was "always in the neighborhood" stopping by or calling to stop by as they kept detecting malfunctions or disconnects to their equipment, he was here **** near weekly. We recently updated our router via our service provider and Nielsen had to install a networking switch to add extra ports for their devices to connect to our network. Needless to say, they screwed up our network in the process (slowing down any incoming speeds we had for our desktop computers) and I had to put it all back together the way it was prior to this last installation snafu. I ended up disconnecting everything they installed and had the local tech stop by one last time to pick up their stuff, closing the account with the call center just prior to his arrival. They promised a 200$ bonus for keeping their service which they failed to provide which was the straw that broke the camel's back. If they had kept their word and the equipment worked as instructed we would still have their service. I will be going against their wishes to keep their business with us a secret (the fact that they tell you not to talk to anyone about them should be the red flag you need), as they will not be doing business with us or any of our family and friends from this day on!
