Fast Lab tech is a scam. You receive a little piece of plastic once a month, no instructions. Phone number no good, no such website, no street address. This is all a sham operation. No way to communicate & make them stop sending & billing.Customer Answer

Upon thoroughly checking on our system, there was an order placed on August 21, 2023 for 2 PCR and 8 Antigen under your name Elizabeth English with free shipping. Our free shipping usually take up to 2-5 business days depending on your location. Your order was approved by our Telehealth/medical team on the same day because of the reason; Exposed to Covid-19.
Your order for 2 PCR and 8 Antigen test kits makes it 10 test kits in total, also upon checking the records on our system one from our customer support was able to inform you about this information when you placed the order. The kits are shipped in separate packages with a delivery date interval. This arrangement of shipment is to give you the chance to cancel the remaining scheduled if you don't need the rest of your ordered test kits anymore. Please be informed that we can only cancel orders that are not yet processed or orders that are not yet scheduled to ship.
To clarify, we were able to process the first shipment on August 21, 2023. While the last shipment was process on September 06, 2023. All of the shipments have been sent therefore no other kits will be sent and unfortunately since there was no cancel order placed before all the shipments we will continue working with your insurance agency on the claims.

I was looking up Covid tests and came across the is site. It advertised free Covid tests so long as you have insurance. All you give is your insurance information so it seemed legitimate. Turns out they charge insurance $325 per kit. And will resubmit when they dont cover it. I was told there was 10 kits submitted while I only received 7. I talked with insurance and theyre not sure what to do because there is no valid email address or phone number (it hands up right away). Im not paying for these kits as they did so under false pretenses. So Im putting my story on BBB to shed light on the latest Covid scam.Customer Answer

A neighbor of mine told me that COVID tests were available again for free. I received two outdated COVID tests and yesterday (11/13/23) I received two more kits with no instructions as to use. Hello, on Oct 12 I ordered 1 free Covid test. They said it was free. No payment involved, but I saw they needed my medical information so I thought okay, Ive had to put insurance in other Covid instances. They have sent me 3 more tests that I did not order. This is a scam. I dont know whos going to pay for this but its false advertisement. They scammed me, they keep mailing me test kids I did not order. This is fraud. Beware. In our order form we have a default quantity of tests. It can be found at the bottom of the order form when you placed your order and it can be edited, there might be a chance that when you processed your order you didn't edit the quantity of your test kits. Our Antigen/home test kit is required to come with our *** test. The *** test is required to be returned to us within 7 days, so we can send it to our lab for processing. To avoid being billed, we always inform our patients to simply use the kit and ship it back to us at $0 cost. Specifically our at-home *** testing, please use it before sending it back to us. You may keep the antigen test kits for future use as long as they are not expired, and you will see the details on the box. My husband and I were both ill and wanted to test for COVID. These "free test kits" were on a link from our local online news outlet. I ordered a set for each of us around October 22, 2023. After ordering, they sent a confirmation email saying our insurance would be billed for them and non-use of them would be billed to us. I never received my kit and my husband's kit arrived more than a week after ordering and failed to include an instruction manual on how to read the results. This is a complete scam and I do not want to be responsible for payment for a) something advertised as free, b) something that didn't arrive, and c) a kit that wasn't complete and couldn't be used. We have checked your order information and it appears that you placed an order for 2 *** and 8 Antigen test kits with free shipping. For free cost shipping, it typically takes around 2-5 business days depending on your location. However, upon checking your insurance eligibility was pending confirmation still and this has resulted to have your orders pending for delivery as well.
We admit this lapse is on our end and we truly apologize if this has been overlooked and has not been rechecked the few days after. This would be a great reminder for us to do better in our job.
Rest assured you will not be billed for the test kits not sent to you and we have your order cancel due to our oversight and inability to verify your insurance.
As for your husbands case, his insurance was verified eligible and that he was sent with the number of test kits he ordered. The test kits packages are delivered with date interval, to complete all the total ordered test kits. For the *** instructions it is printed in a sticker inside the box and as for the Antigen test kits it is printed in the antigen test device cover film, both are in a form of link. Also, you have an option to speak with our medical team to help you go through the tests via video call.
For the billing charges, we do want to assure you that we will continue to work with his insurance company on this claim and as long as his insurance is active and up to date there will be no charges to him. His insurance company will pay Fast Lab and we will not be billing him for any balance.

Fast labtech ORDER # ****** I thought I was ordering 2 free covid tests on 10/26/23. Three weeks later I received two padded envelops with 10/27/23 as ************, I never activated the account since the email they sent me went into spam and I just saw it. I have been given a free test from a friend and tested negative 10/27/23. I opened up one of the two separate envelopes totally unfamiliar with what was in it and immediately resealed it. See photos in upload I just received a denial form from the Humana provider Claim # *************** saying ******** paid $325 and that I was denied by Humana for the balance of the separate $325. I am requesting a cancellation of the order and I will return the two unopened envelops if they sent me the Postage to return. Return money to ********. I thought I was ordering "FREE" Covid tests similar to the government provided tests. When they arrived an information sheet indicated that the tests were only free if insurance would pay for them and that unused tests or returned unused tests would be billed to me. These costs were very high ranging from $125 - over $400.I received my first test kit in October and have been receiving additional tests on 3 separate occasions since. I have not requested any additional tests, yet they continue to send them to **** have not used any tests.I have tried to resolve this with the company through their online chat which only goes so far and then stops working. I tried their corporate phone number only to get a message that the phone system is out of order and refers me back to the online chat.Obviously, this appears to be a scam. 9/26/2023 I was travelling out of country and was having some coughing, thought best to get covid testing done before leaving. On the Fastlab website it said it was free if you had health insurance. I have ***************** which does not cover this type of testing. I called customer service who said the testing kits are not returnable. Please be guided that our COVID-19 test kits are free of charge to you provided with your valid and eligible insurance, you wont be paying out of your pocket. Once verified eligible, you will receive your test kits and your insurance will cover for you and your insurance will pay Fast Lab. If verified ineligible no test kits will be sent to you.
As for the billing charges, we cannot make changes to that since the test kits were all delivered. We will continue to work with your insurance company on this claim and as long as your insurance is active and up to date there will be no charge to you. Your insurance company will pay Fast Lab and we will not be billing you for any balance.

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern.
It shows that an order for COVID test kits were placed on 10-03-2023 due to the reason "Exposed to Covid-19" under your name ***********************. You qualified for the $0 cost COVID test kits based on the reason specified when you placed an order. As of today, we have already sent 2 PCR and 8 antigen kits. With that, Fast Lab will no longer contact you and we will no longer send any covid kits.
Your order for 2 PCR and 8 Antigen test kits makes it ************************************ separate packages with 3 days delivery interval. This shipment arrangement is meant to give you the chance to cancel the remaining scheduled tests if you don't need the rest of your ordered test kits anymore. Please know that we can only cancel orders that are not yet processed or orders that are not yet scheduled to ship.
To clarify, we were able to process the first shipment on October 03, 2023. While the last shipment was process on November 01, 2023. However, base on our records it shows that you were able to reached out to us on November 08, 2023 to cancel the remaining test kits, and since we already shipped all of the test kits that were ordered under your name we couldnt cancel any orders at that time.
You can still use these tests until the expiration date on the box. If you'd like to send those in for fast results, we're always happy to get your results.
