      Terrible platform. Only used because Cigna EAP was available, meaning FREE therapy. They charged me $131 to see a therapist that was covered under my Cigna EAP which should have been free. They had 4 open sessions in my home page and no way to discern between paying vs EAP options. My therapist couldn't help or advocate for me. Horrible and inadequate customer service. No resolution no refund only a promise to change their system to use EAP in the future. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE OR COMPANY.

      Talkspace is so difficult to use and get customer service help. They do not offer monthly payment plans just weekly and I am at a point where I talk to my therapist once a month. I cannot get anyone to help they charged $316 and another $396 for 1 session. I am extremely displeased and will make a review everywhere to let people know what a scam this is

      Started sessions and was charged $80 for 30 mins. You can expect to pay $35 every 2 days even if you arent getting service. Its just once you sign up you have to pay them over and over again.

      This site deducted money from my account when I have not spoken to an individual and then set this up as a recurrent monthly payment to be deducted. I have had to file a fraudulent claim with my bank and block my card against them and request a refund for a service I did not sign up for and had not talked to anyone. A therapist stated she wrote a note stating there was no contact with me and I guess I was charged for that. Upon further investigation the charge is selected as a monthly recurring charge. The phone number listed does not get you a live person only an email to address your complaint and it can take over five days for someone to reach out to you.

      Talkspace has gone significantly downhill over the last ***** months. I've had therapists not even do an introduction for over three business days, a therapist without any availability for a video call for 3 weeks and then cancelled on me last minute, and most recently a therapist who doesn't do any messaging at all despite that it's a messaging platform. All of these issues are counter to what is in the guidelines for therapists with TalkSpace. Extremely disappointing ad I will not recommend TalkSpace to anyone.

      This service is egregious and exploitive. They took my money, matched me with a therapist that went on vacation the following week, then decidedly FLAKED and never showed for our second appointment and didn't respond to messages. The service only gave me 12 days to use my remaining 3 credits and the available refund was knocked down to $74 (I paid $296) because of the amount of time that had passed, despite only ever getting a single, introductory session. It's a complete scam and they take advantage of people paying out of pocket. It's absolutely disgusting that they haven't been taken out entirely and that they somehow maintain a "B" rating through the BBB.

      The stress this platform has caused me, along with the recreation of my traumas through multiple abandonments, has left me worse off than I was before joining.My first therapist ghosted me after one message. **************** took so long to respond (weeks) that my therapist quit Talkspace without warning and I found another. Only then did customer service reply and say It looks like your therapist left Talkspace. Useless.My second therapist was actually quite good...until three months later when she got laid off. Talkspace did not tell me until the day she left that she would be leaving. Abandoning a client is unethical in the psychology field and Talkspace facilitated exactly that.Even though they knew she would be leaving, they did not help match to a new therapist. After weeks without a single therapist available, I emailed customer service again, explaining that they facilitated an unethical act and should at least match their clients with a new therapist instead of just dumping them. After blaming me, they re-matched me. My new therapist did not know my history on the platform at all and spoke to me as if I had just joined for the first time. After explaining my history, she assured me that she would not abandon me. After that, about half of my sessions were cancelled or couldnt be held because of technical problems on her side. Rescheduling took weeks, which left me without a session for over a month. I asked several times what we should talk about in chat and the answer was, yes, you can chat with me. I tried a variety of topics and received basic responses that were often times copy/pasted from basic articles I could have found on my own. Otherwise, responses said wed talk about it in our session, which was usually a couple of weeks away and/or cancelled. I was also called by the wrong name at least once. Im disappointed in this service and believe it really only exists to make money. I will recommend against it to my friends and employers.

      They probably dont have many counselors on the platform. They have billed ** for two months and yet we still have not been assigned a counselor. They told us they would put our account on hold until they found ** a counselor. The website wont let you even cancel service. Now they are billing my credit card and I have no way to even cancel. This is worse than a scam. They have not provided any service and still bill us. No response to our requests for help.

      Started with Talk Space in February. A month into the plan and still did not have an assigned counselor. Plan automatically renewed and now I have been emailing customer support since August and still have not received a refund for services not rendered since February 2022
