      There needs to be negative stars and this bank needs to be shut down. After returning my rental vehicle I used the deposit with my wise card and **** tried to return the money but I bet **** had an issue and blocked it and **** says now there is a hold(my german credit card gave me my deposit back within 30 minutes). So now **** said we need to fax or 3-way call with your bank. Well what do you know **** doesnt have a fax and they dont do 3-way calls. So even after submitting the receipt from **** on the Wise app showing im being charged $0.00 which means I will be receiving my full deposit of $250 back, **** says we'll we are waiting for the merchant to send us the money back. But its a pre-authorized charge which means they dont take the money its just floating up in the air. When you call Wise its just a call center of a bunch of people that only say "we're so sorry" but cannot do anything. You cant speak to a manager becuase they dont want to deal with your problems. And then they set up a manager call and hope someone calls you. And then in the middle of the night someone from ****** calls and im sleeping and then they email you sorry you missed our call. Well obviously when you call in the middle of the night. Its a joke of a bank. They also closed my dad's account after prodiving the Bill of sale from his house and they didnt accept it LOL use SoFi or a different online bank but its completely ridiculous.

      ********************** organization. Used for several years trouble-free to make small transfers to *******. Then they suddenly decided to "re-verify" me and blocked all outgoing payments in the process. First, they wanted a bank statement to verify my name, address, account #, etc. I uploaded a redacted PDF blocking my balance and activity unrelated to Wise. They repeatedly rejected my support asserting that my name did not match (turned out my account was never set up with a middle name and they could not make the connection). Then they asserted that the statement did not contain the required info as listed above (it did). Called repeatedly. Most **** were helpless and clueless. Finally got someone who figured out the missing middle name issue. But they also gave me a runaround on docs and demanded I upload a passport copy. I did. Account remain *********** email exchange insisted I did not provide the required evidence of the Wise transfer per bank statement. I was incredulous. "How am I supposed to document a transfer that you placed on hold???" Crickets. Sent old statement with a previous Wise transfer. They rejected that immediately as they did not accept documents older than 1-2 months. The real culprit appeared to be the idiotic "Verification Team" that believed in blocking and sitting around with their head up their you-what. "No, we have no supervisor to escalate you to. But we can put in a request to have one call you back in a day or two." "No, we cannot connect you to the Verification team." "There is nothing i can do. Recommend you call back tomorrow."Easily the most inept, bureaucratic and idiotic organization I have ever done business with. Gave up. Closed my account. And moved my business to ******. May they rot in he**.

      Truly the worst service Ive ever had in my life. Lost $25,000 of a transfer of mine that they claim never arrived and Ive been trying for 6 weeks to get it returned to me. **************** has been terrible, they just keep bouncing me back and forth and never get to a resolution. This company should be shut down.

      Used ****** services on Jan 22, 2025 to transfer money to ***** for the purchase of sealed product. The person stated they mailed the product and included a tracking number to use on a site which is known to be fake. When I attempted to reach out to someone via their online chat they stated the sender did not include insurance and required $300 in crypto currency before they would give customs the correct information. US Customs and Boarder Patrol stated they have never heard of the shipping company and agreed it was a scam. Investigating the seller online, there turns out to be multiple posts stating this seller goes by multiple names, has multiple profiles and each shows a different country. Their account for Japan was banned the same day. I contacted wise shortly after and informed them that it was a scam and that no product was sent. **** responded within 5 minutes of the initial complaint and stated that to them it was "not a scam". Correct me if I am wrong but if you pay someone for a product that they say they will send you in exchange for money but they never send it, it sounds like a scam to me. They stated I would need to file a police report but will not say where they are located which makes filing a police report impossible as you do not know where the person actually is or their actual name. I think this is so **** does not have to admit their platform is an easy way to scam others and make it near impossible to actually do anything about it. The "shipping" website has also been taken down.

      If I could leave zero stars I would. After 2 1/2 weeks and three attempts at a basic international money transfer l, **** has consistently disappointed. The first issue was that they said my birthdate did not match my drivers license. After that was corrected on their end they assured me the money would be transferred within 24 hours. Fast forward one week and now they need a document from my bank. I sent the exact document they requested from the bank but they rejected it saying it did not look official. So I sent another document with a letter directly from the bank validating this document - and it was rejected once again. Then I found out that they had cancelled the transaction and closed my account. Unbelievably bad business and not even deserving of the one star reviews on this site.

      I have been using Transferwise/Wise for over 5 years now to transfer money to my husband's accounts in ****** to pay bills there and a couple of times to transfer back to the **. 90% of my transactions have gone smoothly and on time.For some reason last year, it took a very long time for the money to show up in the designated account, after my bank had shown it withdrawn. They had a lot of explanations which amounted to blaming others. That frustrated me and I wrote upset reviews. I was prepared to switch to another company for this service.Since things are once again running smoothly, I wanted to revise my review. I am so glad that they resolved whatever problem they were having. I feel confident again in sending my transfers. Thank you.

      I have sent a dozen messages to support and cannot get a response from them. Their system will not let me open a personal account because my name was previously tied to our non-profit's account. Just please respond to ANY of my messages!

      I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with ****. On June 24, 2024, **** abruptly closed my account, which had a balance of $74,654.61 USD, without any prior warning or clear explanation. This has caused significant financial hardship, affecting my health insurance payments, credit, and ability to distribute funds to the ******************* potentially leading to severe consequences.Despite multiple attempts to contact customer support, I have received no clear resolution. The phone support, based in ********, offers no help and only adds to the frustration. I promptly filed an appeal and provided all necessary information, but I was not given any details about the appeal process, nor could I access the website due to the deactivated account.This level of service is unacceptable for a company that claims to offer reliable financial services. I urgently request the immediate release of my funds and a clear explanation for the account closure. I would not recommend Wise to anyone seeking dependable financial services.

      It took them 6 days to transfer money to my account AFTER it had been released by my bank. That was half of my vacation where I had no access to my funds. I filed a complaint with **** and they sent a stock apology for the delay. It took 3 days after my complaint before the money was deposited.

      I use this company for almost 2 years sending the money to my family in ******* one day somehow I send it in Euros and as soon as i realize mistake (5 seconds) i Cancel the transfer which they offer, and made another transaction this time in US Dollars thinking first transaction was cancelled. Well first transaction went through and they charge me 15$ for that so I thought being customer for 2 years and they can see all my transactions are in Dollars would be easy fix, think again greedy pigs doesn't let go so easily. 15$ is 15$. **************** lady told me option to cancel the transaction "Sometimes works sometimes doesn't" other guy start to faithing me that my Transaction wasn't cancelled and he treated me like full time convict :-), what a joke people don't do the business with those foreign Country companies this one is from ******* do the business with USA Companies they will not fight you till death for 15$ :-))))
