      We are a mid-size multinational Corporation and we started using Wise to reduce our currency exchange transaction costs. Since starting with Wise 2 months ago, **** has "disappeared" our funds three times. After each wire transfer there is a blackout period (averaging more than 10 days). During this period, we're unable to access our funds or determine the status of our wires. It's my assumption that **** is collecting interest on the balances, but not giving credit to us as a depositor. Furthermore, it's incredibly difficult to coordinate with Wise Support, since they are overwhelmed and seemingly under-qualified (based on the iterative back and forth interactions that we have had). If you plan to use Wise, provide yourself a buffer of several weeks to account for unpredictable delays. It shouldn't be the case in today's world, but it seems there is still some value in the old brick and mortar institutions -- at least you can call someone to get an answer.

      Poor customer service. Can't even resolve or give fast solution. The system is confusing also specially to freelancers using their system.

      AFTER they took my money, they asked for more personal information about the receiving party (they said it was a random audit). Receiving party did not want to provide the additional personal information and they cancelled my wire. They said it would be back in my account within 5 days at the latest. It has been 2 weeks with no progress or information. Every day, a new "agent" gives a vague response that it's Wise's "partner bank's" fault and they are looking into it. They just say another dependent will contact me but nobody ever does. They claim they will not refund my money because their partner bank has not sent it back to them and will not respond to them...which is not my problem.

      Totally untrustworthy. I have used this company in the past to transfer funds. They have been slower than there claims, but it work. I attempted to transfer to a person I had transferred to again. Even though I had and existing account and transferred to the recipient before. I was directed to confirm to ACH debits made to my account after a delay of 2 days. I did that. Then after several more days I recieved a message that my funds were being refunded with no explaination. I called customer service and they said my money was being returned because they need a copy of my ID to confirm my idenity. I did that when I set up the account and made previous transfers!!! They said an email would have been sent asking for the ID. I was not sent an email and their rep confirmed that. Said they must have made a mistake, but they would still need ID and that an 'actual' person needed to review the ID and it would take a week!!!!! Now waiting 1-3 days to get my funds back. Sent a new transfer immediately *** **. Not hassle there. Didn't need to provide ID or do an ach confirmations to make a transfer.

      I was trying to purchase a hotel in Europe and decided to use Wise to convert my USD funds to EUR and pay for the Hotel. End of the story, I could never pay for my hotel and after a month I have not been able to get my money back yet. Wise customer services does not have supervisors available to customers so you can not escalate any complain over the phone. They have a communist attitude to block you and make you suffer when you need help with an issue of this kind. Good Luck with them.
