I am being charged by SoundCloud for months now and I have tried contacting their support to rectify this and have repeatedly asked for invoices and the cancellation of my subscription. The account I normally use does not have an active subscription. My apple account does not have an active SoundCloud subscription yet I was billed twice. I need a supervisor to contact me being that SoundCloud support takes 3-5 weeks in between every response to get back to me. I am requesting a refund for all charges from the date that I initially emailed SoundCloud support with this concern. About 3 weeks ago I got an email from SoundCloud for artist informing me that my account had been terminated and that all payments and royalties would be frozen indefinitely. They did not give me a specific reason. Subsequently all my music has been pulled from every outlet and social media. I started making music in 2020 after almost passing away recovering from illness and finding myself homeless again. It was an outlet for creativity and help pass the time and help stave off the depression. I never intended to really go anywhere with it like that but I got better as I got better I started to post and it took a while but about mid last year it started to pick up and I started getting more followers. I enjoy making music and since this I've been very discouraged to even continue. Everything that I worked so hard for gone. I've reached out to them many times several times and I've not received a response. I reached out to them again about 3 days ago still no response. I need to know exactly what happened. Because if something happened that was not a result of a misunderstanding or an accident of my own which as far as I know I have no copyrighted music as I make my own stuff. All the stuff that I used is free to use as the artist sees fit and it is not copyrighted. Music making apps etc. I never altered anything or altered any results or stats or anything like that because I don't know how to do that and for the more I don't have the means to do that. I don't know what happened but if my account was hacked or someone did something that was nefarious I need to know this so that way I can pass this information on to the proper law enforcement officials. Or organizations. I'm very upset over this. All my music is registered with BMI and sound exchange. I I'm very upset with them because they did not even contact me to let me know anything can happen which would have been good instead of just terminating my account and not explaining what happened.Initial Complaint

I was charged by a company called sound cloud for $16.00 on my debit card. I have no idea who this company is and did not make any purchase with them. When I tried to contact this company it is impossible to contact them unless you open an account and provide all of my information. I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to update you on the ongoing issue I am facing with SoundCloud and to express my frustration with the challenges I have encountered. I am grateful for BBB.org's involvement in helping to resolve this matter, and I want to provide you with a concise overview of the situation.Recently, my track titled 'Close with Desires" was falsely distributed by an unauthorized user named "************." This triggered the Content ID detection system, leading to the removal of my track from SoundCloud. I'd like to also state that at this time my song was not distributed to platforms like spotify or apple music but was infact schedule for release, and at the time was only exclusively on Soundcloud as a 'teaser, Despite my immediate efforts to address the situation by reporting the unauthorized content and having it removed from other platforms, my appeal to SoundCloud was unjustly rejected. Due the the rejection this led to the termination of my manager's SoundCloud for Artist account, who also oversees my music career and manages other artists.This situation has not only impacted my career, but it has also unfairly affected the artists my manager represents. Earnings from their hard work are now locked due to this unjust termination. My repeated attempts to contact SoundCloud's support team have gone unanswered, leaving me in a state of uncertainty. The lack of communication has hindered my ability to resolve the issue effectively.I am appreciative of BBB.org's intervention, which offers hope for a fair resolution. These scammer artist stole my money for a monthly subscription and deleted my songs after I upgraded. And I'm gonna delete them in court if they don't give me back my songs and my money. They purposely have no phone number to contact them or any email. I requested support for my account on march 23rd for the first time. March 30th, after a full week of no response to my initial support request, I requested for my songs to be removed from the distribution service as I am moving to a new service. It has now been another two weeks with no response to any of my request. Soundcloud deleted my profile (which contained several uploaded tracks of original music) without any notice to me. When i search my old profile name "****" or profile URL *******************, there is no record in the system. I first reached out to their customer support email ****************************************** on 12/5/22 and was given a request #******* by their automated system.I never received any follow up until 1/6/23 in which they asked my profile URL, which i promptly provided. I have not heard anything since 1/6, my profile is still deleted and i have sent several follow *** almost weekly since 12/5/22.Business Response

On Thursday, October 13, 2022 around 8 am, I signed up for SoundCloud's "Next Plus" subscription package which advertised certain promotional tools for musicians. I paid $32.25 on my credit card and the transaction was successful.After the transaction, I attempted to use the paid features on the site unsuccessfully. The "distribution" links were broken and took me back to the landing page for the paid plans. I was unable to add a PayPal address to my profile, getting an error message of "we cannot communicate with our servers right now".The subscription manager page on artists.soundcloud.com returned a 404 error.I was able to cancel my subscription renewal but I had paid for a year's worth of the service, which I cannot use due to their web site's many errors. I am a web developer and have tried disabling browser plugins, using a different browser, clearing cache, etc.I contacted support and opened a support ticket via their system. I received automated e-mails acknowledging the creation of the support ticket but did not get any responses with regard to the issue at hand.
