I made a purchase on 8/7/2015 for a MCM back bag. It was advertised as Authentic, yet when I received the item I could tell it was a fake. This business has no customer service information. You must file the complaint with in the application itself. I raised the issue on 7/15/2015. The same day I received the item. I paid in total $124.69. I received an email saying I had an update, yet the update was advising me to TRY AND RESELL THE ***** Why would I make an attempt to try and FRAUD SOMEONE ELSE. I shipped shoes out using the Depop app, my account was suspended for violating there terms of service. No violation was made clear to me nor was any violation made by me. They refused to send my money that I made through selling the shoes even after a conversation with their representative. They refused to make note of what I violated and refused to converse further than that. I could care less about my account and would like to recieve my funds.Initial Complaint

Im following up urgently regarding the scam I reported. As mentioned, the username is @uabelijahroberts. This user sold me a fake item that was advertised as authentic. After I reached out, he admitted the issue and promised to refund me, but has now completely ghosted me. He also stated that he wont refund me unless Depop customer service steps inyet so far, Ive received no support or follow-up from your end.Ive been trying to resolve this for days and am now in the process of filing a complaint on a government consumer protection site as Depop seems to be neglecting the matter.I have all the evidence and am willing to return the item immediately. I am writing on behalf of *** *******, who has/had the Depop account @samsmcgrath. His account was hacked 3 years ago and someone else had their bank account information in the account instead of ****. He thought the issue was resolved and within 2 days (this past week) sold over 20 items, some of which had been shipped out. Then he realized that the bogus bank account was attached to his account. When he contacted Depop support to help him update his account with his OWN bank account information, they resolved the issue by deleting his account. The orders that have been shipped have been paid, and he does not know where the money is going. He has many orders yet to be shipped and cannot do it because they deleted his account. He is in the entertainment business and this not only makes him look bad as a person but it is not good for his image in his industry. Since Depop does not have a phone number for customer service he is relying on someone to email him back to rectify the situation. He does not know if they intend to bring his account back, and does not know if he has just lost the $500+ that he made selling on their Platform. I would ask that you contact Depop and insist they correct the issue. He is @samsmcgrath on Instagram and Depop, his LLC is $AM, he is $AM on *******. He needs help quickly on this matter. March of this year i sold my first item on the app depop. from then i entered my information that it said was required to get paid. It asked for my bank info, then my SSN, and then my ID. Then it prompted that there was an error with the account and i had to re enter my info. So i did and every time i entered my bank account it would tell me that that was an error and to try again later every single time i did it. I finally emailed depop support and all they basically told me was that I was doing something wrong and to send them a screen recording of what i was doing. So i did and then they told me instead of my info to enter my parents and that i would get my money right away. And guess what i enter my parents info and i have not gotten my money. I sent them an email last night saying that they need to just send my money as a check in the mail to the address on file, add it to the card on the account, or put it on my card. I also asked if i could talk to an actual human being as I'm pretty sure all the emails i got in response were AI or robots. They responded and say i'm on the queue to speak to the specialist team. Personally i have never had to supply that much personal information for a resell app to just pay me the money I earned from selling clothes. It just seems kind fishy because it does not need to be this difficult. Yes sellers are supposed to be over 18 but if they are seriously holding my money for me being underage then they shouldn't let minors even create accounts.Initial Complaint

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Depop, ***** a peer-to-peer resale platform, for unfair business practices, lack of transparency, and failure to enforce platform safety consistently. As a verified seller on Depop, I have had multiple authentic designer items removed from my shop without adequate explanation or proof that they were inauthentic. I submitted Certificates of Authenticity (COAs), detailed item photos, and brand markings. In response, Depop stated that my evidence did not meet their internal requirements-but they refused to clarify what those requirements are, even after I obtained professional third-party authentication from a recognized service.Worse, while my listings were removed, I found identical items from other sellers still active on the platform, creating a double standard and giving the impression of selective enforcement. Depop refused to address this inconsistency and closed the case without offering a fair review process.Adding to my concern: I have personally been a victim of fraud on Depop on at least six separate occasions, where I purchased items that were later found to be fake, misrepresented, or never shipped at all. Despite reporting these incidents and requesting assistance, Depop failed to properly intervene or provide meaningful resolution in most cases. -6/8/2025 -$180.61 - I purchased a pair of shoes from a seller. I messaged him asking if the shoes were real. He said he thinks they are real. I proceeded to buy them. He said he would ship them first thing in the morning. 3 days had gone by without him shipping so I reached out to him and he assured me he sent them 2 days ago. That was a lie because *** bought off depop before and the minute the seller sends it, they immediately update it with tracking. I figured something was fishy so I went to the ************* store in my city. I showed them the pictures and they could immediately tell the shoes were fake. They pointed out things such as the color of the box. In the sellers photo, the box is bright orange and shiny. ****************** boxes arent shiny and they are more of a brownish-yellow-orange. They also pointed out several details on the shoes that I didnt notice at first. Keep in mind this is the real ************* store so they know what theyre talking about. I reached out to the seller since he hadnt shipped the item and asked him to cancel it. I told him that they didnt appear to be authentic to me. Now the seller is upset because I called him out on his fraud and hes refusing to ship the shoes as well as refusing to cancel the order. I sold an item on the depop platform on May 31, 2025, Vivitar ******* camera lens- for $41.61. This item was shipped to buyer on June 1, 2025, **** tracking provided to buyer and entered in the depop app- ***** tracking **********************). On June 9 at 9 pm the buyer received the item. I was suspended on their application for cursing to another user while that was happening. The company **** me money from a few sales and has not answered my emails for five days after five days they contact me and said I have to wait till June 30 and contact them to try and get my my money. This is against a ton of guidelines. I made a sale I sold the product. The person already received the product. They owed me money and then they banned my account from a completely separate interaction. I want my money
