    Bought a meat package from Good Chop (GS). Same was shipped via *** on 11/07/23 delivered on 11/10/23 at around 5:30 pm to my door. Unfortunately, we were out of town and got the package next day 11/11 at around 4:30pm. The products were thawed and were leaking a reddish liquid on top of my counter. Following GS instructions, I disposed of the meat as I dont want us to get any stomach problems or diseases. Called GS customer service believing they would cover all or some of the loss (I paid around $158) and the customer lady denied assistance saying it took me a day to pick up the box. I explained could not contact to have the package rdelivered as all happened fast. I wonder why it took from 11/7 to 11/10 at 5:30 pm to deliver a food package and doubt that dry ice would keep the meats frozen for so long. For example, Amazon deliver shoes within one day of placing an order. As stated, I received no assistance and as I was going to cancel acct the representative stated she had already done it.

    Ordered good chop with the promotion with a free ***** pound turkey. Received receipt confirming the free turkey. Notification of delivery date of 11/8/23 of the meat order and free turkey. Upon arrival, received meat order; however, no free turkey. Contacted customer service about the missing turkey. **************** denied the free turkey stating that the code was not input correctly despite the fact my email confirmation showed the free turkey. We committed to bringing a turkey to family thanksgiving but now do not have one. Please correct the matter by providing the fee turkey and/or refunding our order in full.

    On 10/02/23 I created an acc't with the company "Good Chop" through an ad on ********* It was presented with a discount opportunity, but didn't seem like that was applied at the conclusion of the total. Perhaps my error in applying a discount code. The following evening my husband also saw the deal but with a free option with it as well, so I told him to create a separate acc't. using his email and I cancelled mine on 10/03/23. No instructions beyond the cancellation was given and I received a confirmation of cancellation on 10/03/23 (uploaded documentation). Later on 10/16, I saw a charge in my bank acc't for both my original order that I cancelled, & my husbands, plus an extra item he ordered for a 1 time add-on. I called that evening and was disconnected 3x and the 4th person, *******, explained online cancellation wouldn't stop the shipment & was too late to stop the deliver for 10/20/23 ??? 5 days in transit for meat??? Not true, but he also insisted supervisor would contact me with 24 hrs. Nothing to date, even after a 2nd attempt to speak to a supervisor. Sent an email a few days later, still nothing. Both orders were delivered to my area park late on Fri. the 20th, but to our clubhouse so there was no way to decline the shipment. Have filed a dispute with my bank for my charge of $158.99 and my husband CALLED to cancel the other acc't. yesterday and was told specifically that we couldn't be given a verbal reference or confirmation notice of cancellation over the phone, only through email and he has yet to receive that either. If we receive another order from his account after cancelling it, though our online acc't. says it's deactivated, we will file a second dispute and a second complaint with you.

    It is worth note, that this company, Chop Box, is apparently owned by HelloFresh, to which I will add we had this same issue with them several years ago, when I simply perused their site but had to enter my credit card info and they charged me for a subscription I didn't actually sign up for.  It took some time to resolve that with multiple complications as well.  May very well have been another time I to take secondary actions to get it resolved.

    9/30/2023 I had used Good Chop around a year ago and decided because of financial reasons to discontinue.I received what appeared to be a good coupon for money off on orders and decided to login and see if it was financially feasible during this economic times (I am 76 years old and on a fixed income). Web site needed me to activate my account to review products. JUST TO BROWSE THE SPECIALS Did some BROWSING and decided not to purchase. The site ORDERED the items automatically (just for browsing) and never asked to confirm an order and billed my card. Never got an email confirmation alerting me of items in my cart/order.SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!I called and they would not cancel the order. Would not transfer me to a supervisor.Was not interested in my concerns.RIPOFF DO NOT USE THEIR PRODUCTS

    I received a trial because my parents had given them good reviews; however, I wasn't impressed and went to the website to cancel the next box. I thought I deactivated my account, but lo and behold I had a charge for a new box on my credit card. So I went back to the website to deactivate again. The amount of times they make you hit deactivate is criminal. I tried calling customer service to try and get the charge off my card since they haven't sent the new box yet. The customer service rep not only told me that he couldn't help me, but was rude and ultimately hung up me. Won't be going to them again and will be letting my folks know how they do business.

    We had heard about this company leave that I would be a great company. I seen it on ******* that it would be great to try from what I had heard about it. They were really good. Several Youtubers influencers kept talking about so how great they are. they meet us I quality its great they deliver perfectly boy was I fold them we never got our package. We paid $108.$.99. I kept checking and checking on it. They said it was shipped we were supposed to have it by ************************************************ wait a whole Flippin day Ill 24 hours before they would refund me I was extremely ****** and then they sent me an email a day later to tell him is it oh were gonna add five dollars to your account every were going to re-ship your meat back I told him I said no I said you could forget it. I said you could keep your five dollars credit I took of her to cancel my account.

    I decided to give this company a try as they advertise fresh, farm friendly meats shipped frozen and fresh straight to your door. They claim 100% satisfaction. Well the order arrived a day late. There was no dry ice left in the box. I ordered 4 filets, 4 steaks, 2 ground beef. 2 filets and 2 steaks were completely thawed out. The rest was still frozen. Took a photo as I wanted to show customer service. I do not eat meat that has been thawed and shipped. So thawed it was squishy. Contacted customer service and rep was nice. He stated they would resend the items that came thawed. I agreed. He told me it would take 7 days. No problem. Well, 2 weeks passed and then 3. Nothing ever was shipped as I have the *** app. And no refund. Ive let them know that I cancelled because of them lying and not doing as they said they would. I buy meat to feed 4 people. Not 2 people. I also shop weekly for meals so this now cost me even more money to go buy more meat. On top of the money I lost on bad meat being shipped. I would just like a refund at this point.

    I called and told them I had deactivated my account, but it turns out I didn't because after hitting deactivate, then it prompting me to tell them why, I hit cancel anyway not knowing I had to do more than that since I didn't want to answer the question, but it never deactivated my account. I called after them having took the money out and begged them to cancel the box I already thought I had because I couldn't afford it. I told them I literally am negative in my account because of it. I asked to talk to a manager and they said I would receive a call in 24hrs. I didn't get any call nor did they cancel the order. Most companies I know do right by their customers, these people refused to make the situation better. The way I was talked to made me think these people are totally greedy. They don't care about their customers and honestly their meat is great I just couldn't afford it this time. It wasn't going to be my last box ever, but now I'm not so sure.

    Awful company. They make it impossible to cancel, and when you do cancel your account magically gets reactivated and charged without your consent. Rude customer service representative hung up on me the first time I called and refused to give me a refund. I had to call back to get someone who claimed they would give me a refund. Currently waiting to see if that happened. Days later what do I get, a box of hot, rotten meat, spilling vile liquid over my home, even though I was told a SECOND time that my box was cancelled. Very upset. This company doesn't know how to do business, provide proper service, feels like a scam, and one way or another leaves you cleaning up THEIR mess. I hope they process my refund soon, I didn't have enough money to get my medications for my disabilities due to their incompetence. Now I am without medication, and had to clean up rotten meat that I was assured was cancelled and wouldn't show up. I just want my refund so I can get my medication!

    I canceled my subscription in February of 2022 and saw unauthorized charges this morning (06/10/2023). Reached out to the support via chat, and they insist I "skipped" deliveries from February, even tho I have an email from them that says canceled.Support agent said he will cancel my account now, but can't cancel and refund last order. And said I will be getting email saying my account canceled. It was exactly same email as I got in February, word-to-word. After telling this to support agent, he saing he don't have records of me ever cancelig account
