    I experienced the same thing as many of the other people writing reviews. I signed up in November because I received a coupon, and when I realized that the coupon wasn't taken online, and I was charged full price, I immediately cancelled my order forever(within an hour of ordering) - - and they returned my money. NO meat was sent. However, in December I was charged almost ****** for the month of December, so they never cancelled my subscription. I talked to a number of people that are obviously from another country on the help desk, to try to get it canceled and get my money back. They gave me a hard time about it so I had to submit a case to get my money back and it was not pleasant at all. I find it much easier to work with Good Ranchers or Crown Cow and I would stay away from this company.

    Please know the website will always provide full account management capability. We want to share the steps in how to cancel an account : 

    1. Log into your account
    2. Open the menu in the top right corner and choose Settings. 
    3. Scroll down to the "Account" Section
    4. Click on "Deactivate your Plan".
    5. Enter reason for cancellation and click on "Deactivate now". Your plan is canceled!. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we genuinely regret any frustration this may have caused.We appreciate you taking the time to bring this to our attention.

    The delivery of my order was left outside near the intercoms. I asked to get a text when it was delivered. I did not receive a text and my intercom bell was not rung. My product was stolen. This has happened the three times I received my order and it was left outside of my intercom with no notification that it was delivered.

    ************ 26 Dec 23 Inferior, low-quality product. Their business model seems to be selling a subscription food delivery service and poor-quality product (my butcher confirmed the cuts while are technically correctly named, are low quality grades of meat that he could not sell in his shop. You can't tenderize fat, gristle and sinew into an acceptable product. Prepared foods such a crab cakes are high in filler material - and low in taste and crab meat).The website is difficult to decipher and seems to only want to make it as difficult as possible to cancel your subscription service.I awarded this business one star only because no lower rating is allowed for having an acceptable level of product or customer service. **************** seems to be one individual with no authority and only scripted answers. It was claimed that there were no higher level personnel on duty to whom an issue can be escalated; only that someone would return my call within 24 hours. We'll see.

    It is hard to cancel with them. I deactivated my account a month ago on their website. Yesterday, during Thanksgiving week, I received an email that my next box would be arriving on Wednesday. I did not receive an email a week prior saying that my next box was pending, so this was a surprise. I do not have the space in my freezer for this unexpected box. I called Good Chop today and was told this is all my fault by their representative. She said I did not cancel before the shipping deadline, which is a lie. When I told I cancelled a month ago, she said I must have done something wrong. I enjoyed my subscription for the time I had it. I do not enjoy this current experience.

    It looks like the system was unable to detect a successful cancellation process, which is the reason why a box has been placed and charged for you. The website will always provide full account management capability. To cancel, simply log in and click on the person icon in the upper right (on a computer) or the three horizontal lines (on a mobile device). In your 'Plan Settings' you will have the option to deactivate your plan. You can reactivate at any time by logging in and clicking 'Reactivate'!

    Buy from here and meet professional scammers that are not trying to bring you a quality product you will eat but are attempting to get your credit card to endlessly bill. Without even finishing the sign up I see there terms and conditions and I do not want anything to do with them. I back out of the order deleting everything I had written. A day later I see them bill me. It's the weekend, they are not open for calls or text. I call **************** and they insist I talk to company first. First call the computers are down call back. Second call, you signed up for a subscription, it happened the minute you give your info and before you select your meats. You are stuck. I attempted to cancel six times on the same call. Person says ok, we'll skip one month. I say I haven't received anything as this happened one business day ago, you need to cancel whatever your company 'thought' was a sale as it was not a sale. My issues. The meat is frozen, I live where, at $10 or more a pound you can get the food fresh, never frozen. I don't eat pork, I don't eat chicken arms, I don't eat bacon. I know I backed out of ordering and did not complete the process.Unfortunately they shipped on the second business day anyhow. What do I get? Frozen disgusting chicken arms, frozen bacon, frozen pork (all available fresh where I live at $3 a pound or less) and a rock solid frozen turkey (at my hometown has farm fresh, no hormones, wild turkeys for $5.48 a pound) this is a garbage company trying to take advantage by capturing your data and if you don't want the offer attempts to make you take it anyways. RUN AWAY RUN AWAY it's disgusting.

    I was supposed to get a 35% discount on my order. The discount showed on the page when I placed my order. When I contacted customer support they said that the promo was not added and they could not give a discount after the order was placed. They told me that they could give me a discount on a following order. I told them there would not be a following order and told them to cancel. This company is terrible!

    They are the absolute worst, fraudsters and liars. I received a box I never ordered but because I am a customer at their sister company they have my information. I was perusing their site and the next thing I noticed was a delivery was scheduled. Called them, they won't cancel or refund. BROWSER BEWARE!!! Just going to their site ,cost me $149. ZERO STARS!!

This way you can explore the menu and decide if and when youre ready to place an order.

    I got a letter from them with a discount coupon so I thought I would try them. I was not impressed with the quality. Then I get a charge for $128.00 . So I call them and was told I was sighned up for auto renewing. I cancelled any other orders. On the ****** the letter I received was blank except at the bottom in very small print was that you have sighned up for the auto renew. To me this is a scam.

    If I could do a 0 I would, but a 1 star is fair because the meat quality was pretty solid. My first box went well, no issues. Second box was the complete wrong order; contacted customer service and they stated that they refunded the entire order...that was a lie. Third box ended up only getting a less than half of the items in my shipment. First they said that the other half was in another box. When that box "never arrived" they said they would reship it and would provide tracking information. However, they never did and it never arrived, so they reshipped it and said the same thing...with the same result. I said s**** it and tried one last order of just the items I missed. To be safe, I contact their customer service and confirm that the order went through and they confirmed it with me and state that it may arrive a day or two later due to being around the holiday, but everything was good to go. Everything seemed normal; got the tracking number finally and got an email saying my order would actually arrive a different day due to the 4th of July (my account showed the same thing). Come the day of when my order was supposed to arrive, my account now showed nothing. I click on the tracking link, and it now shows nothing. I contact their customer service, and THEY SAY I NEVER PLACED AN ORDER. Worthless company.

    DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I purchased ONE order and specified that I only wanted one order, and now they have taken money from my account a second time without my authorization and refuse to stop shipment. The shipment has not gone out and they could stop it, but they refused to and refuse to refund me. The customer service agent said that they are overwhelmed with calls from customers complaining about being setup on auto draft without the customer requesting it.

Please know that the reason we have a weekly cutoff/deadline is to ensure we can procure the necessary cuts to prepare. We need a lead time because all meat are completely fresh-to-order. We wait until after the cutoff to order the cuts so we can ensure our  all are fresh and we dont have too much.
