I returned a dress to this company that I purchased. I received an email stating that they had gotten my item and would be processing the return (Feb. 16th, 2024). I then got an email stating that they were still working on my return on March 2nd, 2024 to allow 40 days for the return. It has been over 40 days now and I have sent several e-mails and left a voicemail with their customer service asking for a status on my refund. I have not gotten any responses from this company. Bought a pair of pants online from New York & Company on January 21st *************** Forty Six dollars. Pants were too small thus started the return process on Feb. 5th. Received a confirmation on Feb. 26th that the company received my return however there would be a delay in processing the return and may take a few days. On March 2nd received an update that my return was still being processed and was given a 15% discount on my next order with them. On March 12th received another email saying my refund was still being processed and to allow up to 41 days to receive an email confirmation once the process was done. Have yet to receive anymore communication from the company and thus have not received my refund. Called the **************** Line and left a message for someone to reach out with information regarding my return on May 6th. No response.Customer Answer

They want me to send them over my banking information which Im not comfortable with. I dont know why it can not be put back on my credit card.

I have a credit card with New York & Company Runway Awards thru ************** The bank say my card is in good standing with a balance available to spend. I went to the New York & Company web site to order and keep getting an error message say payment cant be processed due to technical difficulties please retry or use another payment method. I called several numbers and sent several emails to attempt to have the situation resolved. Emails dont go thru. Phone calls get dropped or directed to a voicemail box that is full and cannot receive messages. The problem is I want o place this order using my store credit card because it is one of my longest cards and will poorly affect my credit if it were to be closed. I would just like to discuss this with someone from ************* to resolve the issue. I have attached a copy of the error message Im getting every time I try to complete the order.Customer Answer

I actually found the problem and resolved it on my own. Sees to be a discrepancy in the email address associated with the card and account.

I returned merchandise to New York and Company worth $121.39 and received an email that they received the return on February 19,2024 and were behind in their processing but would be received within 41 days. It is well past that now, and I have tried calling and leaving messages and sending multiple emails but cannot get a response from anybody. I placed an order on 4/1/24. After 12 days of no shipping notification, I emailed them on 4/12/24 using the email address ******************************** asking about the status of my order. I received no response. I emailed them again on 4/26/24 asking the same question about my order status. Again, no response. I called their customer service number and my only option is to leave a message. I paid $23.88 for the item I ordered using my New York and Company Credit Card. I since paid the amount owed from the item I ordered. When I search for my order number on their website, it gives me an "order placed, awaiting fulfillment" message. My credit card statement now shows a negative balance of $23.88. I've received no communication regarding the status of my order. I want my money refunded to me in the form of a check. I do not want a negative balance on my account, forcing me to buy something else to get my money back.Customer Answer

I placed an order on 4/15/24 with New York and Company. The order number is ********. The items arrived after the estimated delivery time. Two of the items were too late to use for the occasion purchased for and the other two items were not what I ordered. All items are in the original packaging, unopened. I did an online return for the items on 4/28/24 in the amount of $140.04, one day after receiving the items, but it will not give me a return shipping label. In addition, a return shipping label was not provided on the included invoice. The companies return policy clearly states that I would receive a refund minus a restocking fee of $9.95. I have called the company numerous times with no answer and I have emailed four times with no response. On March 5th I received an email from NY & Company ****************************************** stating my refund ($363.73 total not counting two charges of $9.95ea as a restocking fee) for my returns was delayed and it could take up to 41 days to receive it. That alone was absurd, but I was patient and waited. It is now May 7th and I am beyond livid that I have not received the refund for either order or any emails updating the status. They stated they received my return on Feb 19, 2024 via the initial email. Phones have been disconnected. No replies to my emails. I still get advertisements often to purchase from them and sales updates and their website still looks like I could order from them. Looking more into them, I see many other customers complaining online.
