I purchased three pairs of pants from New York and Company. I returned the pants but never got a refund for them. I have tried to contact them and they never contact me back. I have two order numbers from the pants that I returned. They are.******** and ********. They did write back the first time and said they were working on it and that it was being processed but I never got a refund on my Citi card which is what I purchased it on.Customer Answer

Placed an order on 04/15 - emailed on 04/15 asking to cancel order. no response. Order was finally received and items were eligible for return. I completed the return form online and the label will not generate. I have emailed multiple times asking for assistance. Email was sent on 04/23,04/29,05/0 and a second email address I sent an email to on 05/03 .I have also called and left three voicemails. I ordered a dress May 2, 2024. The dress cost *****. I paid an additional 9.99 for shipping within 3-4 business days. Today is May 6, 2024. My New York and Company card has been charged the total amount of ***** and shipping has NOT been initiated. There are currently a number of customer complaints with the same issue on the Shop app, here on the BBB site as well as other sites on the internet. This is very concerning. I have contacted customer service multiple times. I left a voicmail on my last call attempt with no response. I would like to have my money refunded or the dress expedited. I have contacted my lawyer and will recommended other customers to do the same as it seems they are now engaging in fraudulent business practices. If the BBB can please assist and intervene so that other customers do not have to deal with this, that would be most helpful. In the meantime, I am being advised by my legal counsel.Customer Answer

At this time, I have been contacted directly by New York & Company regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The company finally mailed my product but I was not reimbursed for the expedited shipping that I paid in advance. The price of the product plus the fast shipping was charged to my card and I am still left to pay the balance. Getting this resolved is nearly impossible as no one answers the phone number for managing orders.

Hello and Blessings,March 12, 2024 placed an order with this company. Received order March 21, 2024 and a piece of clothing arrived damaged. March 26, 2024, I reached out to the company via email and they have responded via email April 3, 2024 asking for pics of damage merchandise and invoice. I submitted all this on the same day and they advised me to send the damaged merchandise back and they will credit my credit card. April 4, 2024, I start the merchandise return/refund process and I was unable to create a return label. I reached out to the company again and they are trying to to resolve the return label issue. April 24, 2024 was my last contact with company and they are still trying to resolve the return label issue. I just want to return their merchandise and get a refund. I am unhappy with this business and how they engage in business. Going forward, I will not being buying any merchandise from them.Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
