I purchased a pair of slacks (order #********) that did not fit, and I returned them. New York and Company received my return and knowledged the return on January 30, 2024 in an email. As of today, April 30, 2024, I have not received my refund. They told me in January that my refund may take a while because of a high volume of returns or calls. Whenever I reach out to them now, on one of their numbers, the call goes to someone trying to sell me a ******** program. On another of their numbers, they put callers on hold for a long period of time and eventually ask them to leave a message and tell them that someone will contact them. This never happens. I have sent several emails asking for my refund but have yet to receive it. I would like for them to refund my money.Initial Complaint

I purchased pants online at ************** it was a final sale item which according to the receipt meant no returns, however, they sent me the completely wrong pair of pants. The fault is with them. I have emailed them 3 times without any response to my inquiry about return or refund. There is only an email on their website to reach them, no phone number. I have absolutely no recourse and they get to keep my money. Where is their customer service???Customer Answer

I purchased two outfits from New York & Company on April 18, 2024 for a total of $115.59. The order was shipped and delivered without an email being sent, and the order details will not update within New York & Company's system. I want to return the items, but cannot initiate the return without the order being marked as fulfilled in their system. I have called numerous times (just rings, or goes to voicemail). I also have emailed 4 times. I just want to return my items for a refund, as I am within the 30 day return policy.Customer Answer

Date of transaction: April 18, ************************************* different sizes and have tried to start a return order for one of them. No one answers the customer service line and no in returns emails. Shipping was 5 to 8 business days. Items did arrive but I am unable to start a return because it says the order has not been fulfilled but it has been fulfilled because I have the items. I would like to return the second item before the return window closes but cannot do that until the order is fulfilled and no one reaponds from the company.Customer Answer

I purchased an item online with New York and Company on April 14, 2024. The item was the regular price of $59. I received the online shipment on April 24, 2024. I was unhappy with the fit and quality of the item; on the same day, April 24, 2024, I proceeded with the online return process; the website allowed me to enter information for the return, but it did not generate a return shipping label. The website says, "Item already returned." I started contacting New York and Company on April 24, 2024, at 3:30 pm to correct the issue; I continued to contact the company up to April 29, 2024, at 2:30 pm, calling and emailing every day a couple of times a day concerning the shipping label problem. I contacted their reward program bank, inquiring how to contact the company, and they gave me bogus phone numbers. I want to return this item and get my money back. How can you help every one of us file this complaint against New York and Company for our money refunded?BBB's primary concern and a red flag should be that most of the phone numbers associated with the New York and Company Corporate Headquarters are either disconnected, routed to the reward or credit card "Bank," a voice mail service, and recirculated to another company.Initial Complaint

I placed an order with New York and *** on March 13, 2024 for $40.89. I ordered a pair of jeans and a pair of pants. I received an email saying the label for shipping was created and the order was confirmed. That was more than a month ago and I never received the shipment. I have emailed the store five times and have called more than 10 times leaving three messages. I received one email response, saying the order has been confirmed. If at all possible, I want the merchandise I ordered, but I will settle for having my money reimbursed.Customer Answer

I ordered four pairs of petite pants because I buy from them often and know what size I wear. I received four pairs of tall pants. They recently stopped accepting returns so I sent them a message letting them know. They asked for the shipping label information thst comes in the packaging. I located it and sent them screenshots and now I am being ignored. I do not want pants I have to pay to hem them.
