I accepted a call from a lady at "worldwide women's association" (WWA) making me believe that I was chosen to be apart of this networking organization, and could get a lifetime membership for $299. Having been down on my luck and looking for ways to get my name out there for success, I was initially excited and provided all of the answers to the questions I was asked along with my credit card number for the membership. I should've know when the lady was cutting me off that this was a scam, and also what membership is lifetime for $299! She was ******* me to get off of the call yet somehow still made me feel valued. After charging the $299 to my card, I tried to call the number on the website only to get an immediate recording that this number was not accepting calls at the moment. What kind of business has an operator answering service as though you have reached a wrong number?! The charge on my credit card account for "Merchant Description" states "BUSINESS SERVICES NOT ELSEWHERE CLASSIFIED". Additionally, I visited the website to try and investigate how this memebership would be of value for me, and when I clicked on the ****************** the link rerouted me to a completely different company, "Worldwide Association of Female Professionals" by ******. The logo and name on this site is completely different with no association of the WWA!!!This is a huge scam and I demand a refund of $299 to cover my losses especially while being down on my luck and going through a hard time. Definitely Defamation of Character. Not to mention the many internet searches proving that this "WWA" company was indeed another name before that and has scammed people out of their money. How are these people getting away with this? And they don't even try to claim that they are a real business when a complaint is filed! There are REAL people out there who need HELP and being as vulnerable as I was, I am yet so ashamed of myself. There are NO perks or benefits to this organization whatsoever. Please, refund my money, WWA.

The World Wide Women's Association contacted me on April 19th, 2023. They said that I filled out an inquiry form from social media and they would like to offer me a membership. After answering a range of questions, I was set up with a $199 membership that was considered a lifetime membership and it was suppose to include a bio-post on their website. I was contacted again in June. I was asked to complete additional paperwork for me bio and that an email would be sent to me. The email never came and I was charged an additional $499 that I didn't authorize. When I try to call the organization. I'm sent automatically to vocicemanil and is told to contact them via email. This isn't acceptable and is a scam. I've requested a full refund $799 via email and got an auto generated message. If the company would be upfront about their pricing and actually provided what they advertise there wouldn't be several complaints about the same predatory practices. I will be contacting my credit card company as well.

I received a call from this company purporting to be the preeminent organization for women supporting women through networking. They interviewed me and made promises about what would be achieved by joining. They gave me a "discount" on their lifetime membership to $199 from $299 and told me I could get an additional $50 discount using a Mastercard. They told me the charge may come up as suspicious activity and that I should approve it. They also said that I should be receiving an email confirmation with a receipt that I never received. I also tried calling the number of the website and the number from where they called me, and the numbers are not active numbers. Thereafter, I learned that there are over 17 complaints on BBB's site. I couldn't find any additional information about this organization on the Internet and their ******** group only has one member. A search of the ******** Secretary of State website didn't reveal any company with this name and a search of the website's history reveals that it has been active for less than a year. I would like a full refund, that this business refrains from ever charging me again and that they do not publicize and that they erase all of my personal information.

I was contacted on 5/18/23 by this organization and they presented themselves as network organization that support women with small business. They gave two membership prices 99$/yr or 299$/life time and the next steps would be advertise my business on linked and their website, get a logo to put on my website, get help with SEO for my website. This is a scam service i paid 299$ and got an email to help with my bio which ended up being a copy paste from my bio in the website, and none of the things happened, the website members are 5 members that are fake accounts. This organization took 199$ from me and they are a scam. I would like my refund please

I have no idea how these people got my information I have not sought any type of service such as they are claiming to offer nor have I contacted anyone in association with this group in any way I have not filled out any applications and dont desire their correspondence. I especially dont want any further harassment they wont stop calling me from every ******** area code there is from more numbers than I even knew could be populated by previous robo call nuisances - they are calling me upwards of 15 times a day in addition to texting always from various ** area codes and always with a new number to bypass my attempts at blocking all the calls. They wont leave voice messages but when I answer and place the call in mute someone will state my first name almost as if they know me. My father searched online to try and help me stop this and helped me to realize this is a business attempting to sell me some type of membership - My concern is that if this is true - what kind of business would establish a sales model that involves harassing their potential customers to the point of conducting a reckless and wanton disregard for the rights of other human beings. I cannot believe this giant scam outfit even has a C rating. What is going on?? How are they getting away with this level of disruption and obvious intense attempts at manipulation through harassment. Ive attached just a couple screen shots taken today of my call log (Im missing calls from doctors and important information because they are tying up my ability to communicate normally.

In November 2021 while on short term disability recovering from surgery, I purchased a one-year membership to aid in reentering the workforce. This was a mistake and provided no value to me. In November 2022, it was auto renewed and I have been trying contact them since then. Then, in both March and April the card in file was charged again. This mistake has cost $1500 more that the initial first year fee. I need help in getting refunded.

On March 28, 2023, I received confirmation of my $99 one-year membership. On April 4 I received an additional email with a link to "welcome materials". On April 5, I received a note that the Editorial Team would prepare my professional biography. On May 15, I received a call that a press release was forthcoming with my biography, etc. I have never received anything for the $99 one-year membership fee. No biography, no press release, no assisted networking opportunities. On 5/17, this organization attempted to charge my credit card again for $500. I sent a message to inquire as to what this is for and I have received no response. It's clear this organization is advertising things they have no business to follow through with. At the least, I feel 100% this is a bait and switch scam.I'd like to get my $99 refund and I would like to be assured they do not have my credit card for future cahrges.

I was contacted on 5/9/23 by phone from a man stating he was from the Worldwide Women's Association and he was telling me about a press release they would send out for me. I did join this group before this call and I regret it deeply now. They make it seem like you're joining some sort of amazing group but it really isn't. It seems like a scam to get money and now I'm trying to get my money back from the press release. The person on the phone did NOT mention the price of the press release. He did mention using it as a business expense. At the time I assumed he was talking about my membership fee. Then two days later I get the attached email saying they charged my debit card (which I also was NOT aware was on file and did NOT to my knowledge just give them permission to charge whenever they wanted) $499.95 which is way too much for me to afford right now. So far I have emailed them three times and called once. I had to leave a message and am hoping to get them to respond. That's why I'm here, so that maybe they will pay attention to **** do not want that press release and I would like that money back. It was not authorized by me to my knowledge or was I even made aware it was happening. These people are a scam and if I can indeed find out how to unjoin this group, I am going to do so. And for one thing, even if I have to change the number of my debit card, I will do so so that they cannot charge me money for things I did not agree to.

They conned me into a lifetime membership to the World Wide Women's Associate and for $300 and months later there is now a charge for $500. They say send an email for help but no response even days later and the phone number never has someone answer. I want a full refund and my information take down off their website. I do not want to be associated with any organization looking to directly scam and target women. I will seek legal action if necessary and warn others not to fall for this. I take my career seriously.
