      ******* did a great job (and was extremely cordial throughout) in clarifying and rectifying account details. **********************'s account representatives are refreshingly helpful. They're not bots! They're for real. What a difference from the standard utility runaround.

      STAY AWAY FROM THE NIGHTMARE THAT IS COMMON ENERGY!Their billing practices are predatory and I am paying more than double what I paid with Central ******. I live alone in a small house and am sometimes paying $700 a month. I had to close my bank account to stop them from taking very large unauthorized payments out automatically. I cancelled the service four months ago but they continue taking money out for "back payments." I have never missed a payment.They can not or will not tell me how many "back payments" I will be billed for. Some of their representatives say they do not know. Some say "this is the last payment." Others say they will figure out how many more payments might be added but no one has ever given me an answer.I have filed a case with the ****** of ******** Services in the ************** ********** of ****** Services. I have taken money out of my retirement account to cover these costs. I don't know how they get away with this.

      Sales girl showed and talked me into it. Asked for a credit card and said they wouldn't charge it, it was just another form of ID. I called to cancel it and that happened ok. But then I still had to pay the bill. I told them I would pay in two payments, the second payment when I got paid again. They took all the payments out of my checking account without my permission and left me with $13 to last a week. I'm 66 and I take care of my disabled sister. We are on fixed incomes but they didn't care so long as they got their money. Big rip off

Common Energy partners with your utility provider to connect you to local, clean energy and offer monthly savings. While you do receive a separate invoice for the solar portion of your bill, Common Energy ensures the amount being collected costs you less than it would paying one bill to your utility.

      We can confirm that your account has been canceled and you will not receive charges for service after the 90-day cancellation period. We are highly sensitive to your budgeting concerns and are happy to work with you to find a resolution. Please reach out to our team at ************** to discuss the situation further.

      I have been a customer of ********************** for approximately 2 years. When I first signed up it was a bit of a nightmare but not because of Common Energy. It was a Central ****** issue. I live in ************ ** and there is now an investigation into Central ****** because of their billing practices and lack thereof. They, CH, were not sending the information to Common Energy for months that is why billing was always months behind. Now that I linked my accounts and allow Common Energy to pay Central ****** my hopes are high that all of the billing issues will resolve. I have never had a problem with Common Energy responding to me in a timely manner. If I have a question they have always responded either with a phone call or an email. They are also hoping that Central ****** gets the information to them so they can bill ** properly. I have always gotten a credit from them and the credit is obviously based on usage.All in all I am happy with Common Energy and will stick with them. I am not a tree hugger but I believe we should support alternative energies, so we have choices going forward!
