      I dont have solid evidence to say that Common Energy service is a scam, but I can say that the saving they kept telling me was like emperors clothes - I dont see it!!! I spent a lot of time through their bills and NYSEG bills, still dont see it. Now I have decided to cancel the service. But they told me that the disconnection takes about 90 days, so they will keep billing me for 3-4 periods, a red flag to me! Regret for being on the hook.

According to our records, you have been able to save with us by earning clean energy credits. These credits are reflected as CDG Value Stack Credit on your bill. If you would like further assistance identifying these credits, please call or email our customer team and we would be happy to help.I can confirm that you have canceled services with us. Our 90-day cancellation policy is outlined in your agreement and is in place because NYSEG needs this time to disconnect you from the solar farm and stop sending clean energy credits to your account.We pride ourselves on our reputation in the local community and welcome further discussion to hopefully resolve your issue.
