We were approached by a sales lady as We were coming off the subway. We are familiar with NY and knew we wanted to see the Statue of Liberty. The salesperson stated there has an express cruise for $39 a person leaving in the next hour. We agreed. She seemed rushed to get us the tickets and make the sale. As I was paying. I noticed that the prices was $59 a person not the $39 she quoted. As I was asking her about is she was frazzled and said sale is final no changes. So we were forced to pay the new amount. When we got on the bus to take us to the ferry the bus broke down, no communication from the driver or tour guide. We just saw others jumping off one bus to the next. We barely made it. When we arrived to cruise we were informed that the top deck seats were an additional $20 per person!!!! We were furious. We got seat in the front bottom but then were immediately overran with people that that it made us miserable and not enjoy the views and experience. What a terrible way to make money. The cost for us was ridiculous. I will be adding this as a review as well. I would not EVER recommend your services to anyone. We have been to NYC multiple times times and uses the Baron bus with no issues. We will recommend the other companies to friends and family.

Don't tour with this company. I bought two bus tour passes in NYC, one to tour the "downtown loop" and the other to tour the "uptown loop". Approximately $80 (So did 3 of my friends). During the downtown tour, the couple in front of us informed us that they could not buy an uptown tour pass for that day because there was a parade uptown and buses could not tour. So Topview sales rep who approached us outside our hotel that morning sold us passes he knew we could not redeem that day. Also, the buses stopped for nearly 20 minutes at several stops along the way and none of the passengers were informed as to why! It was hot. Bus drivers were very disorganized and unprofessional. We were also told that since we could not continue the tour to the uptown loop, that the driver would take us back to our starting point near our hotel. That was not true either. He dropped all the passengers off at the final stop of downtown tour and told us to walk a couple of blocks east to get
another bus and they would take us back to our starting point. We got on second bus and it just sat there in the heat for 20 minutes and did not move!
We all ended getting off that bus and walking the mile back to our hotel. It was the worst customer experience ever! I've done *** *** twice in NYC, they were very good! Go with them! How we ended up with Topview was a
    misunderstanding. Never again!!

April 27, 2025. The city of ******** should pull this companies business license and not let them operate in the state. I felt like I was being held hostage on this bus tour and during the tour, I think the driver was snorting coke. He would stop (not a regular stop) and we sat for 15 to 30 minutes waiting for his dispatcher to tell him he could move on. It was cold that day and the people up top were freezing & trying to find room below. One lady's son was disabled and she kept asking if he was okay. Worst on off bus that I've ever been on!

Took my daughter on the Tea Around Town for her birthday on ******. We left late and did not get our 75 minute tour. There was no sugar or honey for the teas served and we did not get our tumblers. The staff were very nonchalant and told us all on the bus to contact customer service. They did not honor what they advertised. For all of the money spent on the trip, it was disappointing that they did not provide what was advertised.

Bought 2 day passes, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. We rode several times the first day, and every single bus but 2 LEAKED all over the place. They handed us ponchos to sit ***** not take this if you have reservations. With the exception of ONE driver, (who we tipped, the only one) - Most don't bother to announce stops, door don't open unless you know EXACTLY where to get off, you'll miss your stop. Other times IF they stop, plan to sit there for up to 30 minutes while they try to sell more tickets. The staff was extremely unfriendly, I saw 2 separate staff members YELL at CUSTOMERS. One for standing up, and one for TOUCHING an employees umbrella. I get it's *** but rudeness like that by someone you are PAYING is unacceptable. They will lie cheat and bully you into buying as many days as you can. We bought 2 days, and ubered the 2nd day. That should tell you all you need to know about this company

Can I make it -5 stars? This place is the worst business in existence. I bought 4 tickets. I am a disabled vet with mobility issues. I asked for 1 seat on the first floor of the bus and was informed they only make accommodations for wheelchairs. Stairs are just about impossible for me. I pointed out my brace and was told what do you expect me to do We rode the bus 3 times in 2 days and took the boat to lady liberty. I asked for a refund and was told its non refundable, never mentioned until I requested one. They are very pushy to make the sale and very ignorant once they get your money. Next time Ill do my homework and NEVER use or recommend this organization again!

I cannot stress this enough: the NYC Hop-On Hop-Off Bus ************* of Liberty Cruise is an absolute scam. Save your money, time, and sanity, because this tour is one of the most poorly run operations Ive ever encountered. Heres why this nightmare deserves zero stars:1. They Sell ******************************************************* shamelessly overbooks, selling far more tickets than they could ever reasonably seat on their buses or boats. The result? Massive crowds and endless waiting for buses and cruises that are already full. Dont let their slick marketing fool youtheres no guarantee youll even get a seat, let alone enjoy the experience you paid for.2. No Refund Policy = Customer Exploitation All sales are final, which means they refuse to issue refunds even when its entirely their fault that you couldnt access the services you paid for. They take your money and wash their hands of you.3. Disorganized and Chaotic The entire operation is a logistical disaster. Staff are unhelpful, rude, and seemingly unaware of whats going on. Good luck figuring out where to go or how to board because theres zero signage or guidance.4. Endless ********** Forget about the convenience of hop-on, hop-off. Buses are infrequent and overcrowded, meaning youll likely be stranded at stops for ages. The Statue of Liberty Cruise? More like a ferry with standing room onlyif you even manage to board. Its a far cry from the seamless experience they advertise.5. Terrible Quality and Lackluster Experience If you manage to get on a bus, prepare for a lackluster ride. The commentary is dull, inaccurate, and barely audible. The cruise offers minimal views, no narration, and absolutely no sense of value. Everything about this tour screams cut corners.6. Exorbitant Price for Nothing For the sky-high price, youd expect some level of quality. Instead, you get a disorganized mess that leaves you feeling duped and angry.

DO NO PURCHASE TICKETS FROM THESE COMPANY. TopView Sightseeing should not be operating. There might be a reason why they are not BBB accredited. I almost got scammed. Took me four months to get a refund from my ******************* until I disputed the charges three times. Told my **** that if they reverted back the charges I was going to close my credit card with them. I finally got my money back after 3-1/2 months. Not sure if the ** company took the losses, but wasn't going to pay for something I did not use due to TopView overselling these tickets. No room in their busses to Hop on which caused us to not get to the Pier on time to pick up the *******Cruise that we purchased. DO NOT Buy from this company. They are thieves.
