1 starAbout Top View tourist bus tours in ************ 2 ocasiones, 2 different days the bus did not stop at their bus stop, even though their web App schedule was announcing their arrival. Both locations were the last right ride of the evening leaving us stranded at night.Review fromTyler E

1 starI want to tell everyone that reads this review, do not waste your money with this company. The drivers are incredibly rude, they do not allow you to go a full round trip they kick you off before the last stop. we went through half of the tour and they wait at stops for way to long and it says online that it is two to two and a half hours for a full round trip. That is not true, half a round trip took two and half hours. They say online busses come every 15min this is also not true it's more like 30 to 45 minutes. Some stops suddenly become drop off only and we were told to walk 4 blocks down to a different stop to get picked up. There is other companies and it would probably be cheaper and easier with just using **** please do not use this company they do not keep their promises and are incredibly rude.Review fromRachel C

1 starFraud and false advertising. Purchased tickets for 72 hours. Reserved timed ticked for the night bus tour. Staff scanned our tickets, so it they are used now and then told us we could not board the bus. This is theft and it was intentional. The staff at 7th and 41/42nd at 6pm on 3 October verbally abused customers, yelling at them to walk an additional seven blocks although the app told us to come to this location AND we were a party with elderly/children so we would never make the bus departure time at the further location. I have never been treated so poorly and in addition been cheated out of services I purchased.Review fromDorothylee B

1 starHere is a statement of my case: Tickets were purchased for the Night Tour on September 1, 2024 at approximately 9:40pm. I paid a total amount of $58.00 cash.While waiting in line for almost 20 minutes a medical emergency occurred (I am disabled). The employees who were approached just kept saying to wait 5 more minutes for the next bus and disregarded the issue at hand. When asked for a refund, the request was flat out refused; even seeing first hand that a medical emergency was happening. Emailed copy of the receipt as evidence of my purchase and the amount that I am owed. From the information on the receipt they could have checked and saw that no tickets were redeemed.This is their responseAt TopView Sightseeing we strive to ensure all of our customers have a memorable and enjoyable experience. 1 starAbsolutely the worst experience we had while in ***. I wish we had checked their *********************** rating before booking!The sales guy was very convincing and we ended up taking a 48 hour Step On - Step Off tour package and the cruise option as well. We were told the buses ran every 15 minutes during the peak times. The first bus we tried to take was full and the driver just drove away from the stop. Checked the App and the next bus was 30 minutes ETA. Actually was 10 - 15 minutes past that. When we finally caught a bus the upper deck was full and the lower seating area was packed. We instantly noticed there was no A/C on the bus and the windows didn't open. All of the maps and brouchures were being used by the other riders as fans. When the driver stopped to try to pry open a window we bailed out riding less than 1 stop. The driver, who was obviously overheated as well encouraged us to complain! Based upon that experience we opted for other transportation and contacted the company to request a refund. Of course they refused and so we are out over $195 to ride 3 city blocks in a mobile sweat lodge.Their blanket statement is absolutely no refunds depite not using or redeeming services,Review fromGabriel C

1 starWHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! We went on vacation to ******** and were going to do the Top View tour on our last night there. We planned on doing the last tour so we arrived and paid and then were told that there were not enough people to do the tour. Once more people arrived to do the tour it was past the time of the scheduled tour so the employees refused to work overtime and were anxious to leave. I asked them about a refund before they left but they told me to call the phone number provided by them. They told me that there was no way of providing me a refund on the spot and they were very rude as well. I called the phone number provided multiple times and this company has refused to provide me with a refund as of today. I paid for a service that I never received. This has been the worst customer service experience that I have ever experienced from a company. Very unprofessional and I feel like I was scammed! 1 starWe booked with Iconic tours originally but the bus didn't show after waiting for a half hour. So we decided to book with Top View instead. Staff was holding signs for a $21 tour but we were charged $29 per ticket. He dropped it to $25 after I told him that it was a ripoff because why hold signs if you won't sell it for the price listed? He said it was a different tour. Okay, so hold a sign with accurate pricing. Then we had to walk all the way down to 48th from 42nd Street and wait another half hour in the cold. The bus literally picked up people on the exact same stop we were told to walk away from. Why have us maneuver through a dense crowd when you're going to get people from where we already were? The bus didn't leave until 8:15pm but was scheduled to leave at 8pm. He told us we would tour Brooklyn and then come back. We ended up going around downtown and ************ instead. It was very dark so we couldn't see much. The lady doing the announcements only pointed out 3 or 4 landmarks when they told us it would be several more. The tour was supposed to be an hour long and we pulled back to the pickup spot 48 minutes later. It was 9:03pm. We all sat there confused. Most of us expected to go over the bridge to Brooklyn until someone pointed out that the passengers at the bottom were being let off. I asked the driver what happened and he said nothing more than "this is the end of the tour" to me. So there was really no clarification on timing during this experience. It was a tactic to get us to spend money and get literally nothing in return. Anyway, this was the worst part of the trip. Our original tour bus was warm and covered. We drove past it on the way back. Unfortunately, we couldn't go because it was our last night in *** and decided to book here instead. Worst decision ever made.Review fromTyeesiah H

1 star*****************BEWARE****************Topviewnyc Sightseeing quoted us $48 total per person that included 3 days of touring. The Topviewnyc Sightseeing agent did not give us a receipt because he claimed the credit card machine was not working properly. When the the tickets printed Topviewnyc Sightseeing agent balled them up and insisted we pull up the app. Topviewnyc Sightseeing charged our credit card $414 for 3 people. We also had to get off the bus and walk because the road was closed and they could not figure out a detour. I called Topviewnyc telephone number. The Topviewnyc Sightseeing agent advised there was nothing she could do, but for me to send them an email. I sent an email to Topviewnyc Sightseeing. This is Topviewnyc Sightseeing response:Thank you for contacting TopView Sightseeing.We deeply apologize the agent didn't disclose the fees to you. The tickets were sold to you each for $119. For a total of $357.00.Fees ***************** = $27 Fuel = $12 Service = $18 Regarding a refund for the fees, we will not be able to accomodate due them be non-negotiable and mandated. 1 starWish I could leave 0!! Sale rep told ** they ran till 8pm when in fact the last pickup was 4:45 and left ** 4 women in ** city stranded in China town and had to Uber back at the same price as the ticket for the bus!!! It was the whole reason we went with them as ******* said they ran till 8:00 and we repeated back to him 8;00pm? He said yes and we said perfect we have dinner reservations at 8:00 in ************ and he said see its meant to be so there was obviously no miscommunication and the company will NOT issue a refund!!! COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED!!! DO NOT UDE THEM!!!! Also as an added bonus the driver told us a particular drop off was ***************** when in fact it was the ************** drop and we wasted time getting off and back on to go to the NEXT stop which was the actual ***************** stop!!
