    Ive used Wix for years, and while it started as a decent website builder, the cost has skyrocketed, and their customer service has gone downhill. The platform is still easy to use, but the pricing is now outrageously high compared to competitors. And if youre unhappy? Too badWix wont give you a refund, even if the service doesnt meet your expectations.Over time, Ive also noticed increasing limitations, sluggish performance, and a lack of real improvements to justify the price hikes. Customer support is unhelpful, especially regarding billing issues. It feels like they care more about locking users in than actually providing value.If youre considering Wix, be warned: its expensive, inflexible, and not customer-friendly. There are better and more affordable options out there!

    Wix will continue to charge you for services even after you cancel. I used to be a Wix customer. Each year that my subscription was being auto-renewed, Wix would send me an email a month prior, warning that they were about to renew my account for the following year. When I cancelled my Wix subscription service in 2022, they continued to bill me in secret, without those "head up" emails, for three years. I've lost nearly $800 by the time I figured out they were doing this. They refuse to explain how this happened and will not refund me a *****. They are a scam company and you should use *********** or any other service other than them. Just ****** it, they are scamming people every day.

    They have taken money from my account without my knowledge. I have never used their services and I have earned any *****. I purchased for one time, but I didn't know they have taken money form my credit card without my knowledge and wish. It looks like scam. They turned on auto renew by themselves. Now they not refunding my money. They didn't have to charge my at all. Or after two years they had to charge me first getting my approval. but they didn't that.2nd thing that they charged me more than double price.

    If I could leave a review for less than 1 star I would. I do not believe that WIX is an honest or legitimate business. They have been holding over $7000 of my hard earned money for 3+ weeks while my account undergoes a "compliance review" the questions they've asked are incredibly invasive, unprofessional, all documents are submitted via email to a team who them forwards them to some mystery third party service and the entire process not only feels extremely un-secure, but after weeks of jumping through hoops and providing them all the information they've asked for, they simply told me they're holding my money without any expectation of when it will be released. They're going to ruin my business and they couldn't care less. I believe wholeheartedly that wix is being dishonest with their reasons and i would warn everyone possible against doing business with this company.

    My Wix site was charged again weeks before the yearly contract ended!!! No email was sent to let me know they were charging me again for another year 6 weeks in advance!!!!A reminder to renew would been a courteous move since our lives are hectic and may fail to realize contracts are soon ending!! Not with Wix!!!!!They just charge your account without you knowing!!!!Stay away from this unethical company!!!!!!!

    Charged for an upgraded plan on renewal without confirmation. And then will let you cancel but will not refund. Charged us for $756!!!!

    My account was wrongfully closed, I gave all the necessary docs, they required I ship out 200 orders so I took a loan and came out of pocket to fulfill orders. I invested every single ***** of mine into this! ive received no explanation, just they couldnt verify my account but I gave them every single detail they asked for. this my whole life savings Ive invested.This is robbery and theft. As a black small business owner,I am being targeted. I will not be victim and silent. This is fraud and unwarranted. I have sent PDFs with confirmations from vendor and deliveries. The amount is for 17k, I now cant pay my bills next month. I was told my product isnt prohibited!

    I, along with the many others, wish I had read the reviews on BBB. I am having issues getting my money back from ***, who took it out without notice as they say they do, and no receipt was given that they took it out after it was taken from my account. I had canceled my policy, and now I cannot get a person to respond when I ask for questions. It also shows when I try to get to the site that I do not have a subscription, so I don't understand why the money was taken. There has been little help on their part. I saw one review could fill out a form. I want to request that.****** S

    I have been a loyal customer of wix for years. They use to be a responsive, professional website company. Recently, they AUTOMATICALLY charged a large subscription fee without any notice. I am a very small business person and can't afford such a fee. I used to be able to contact them by phone--no longer possible. Now, they have this crazy and useless chat system. No way to make any sense out of it and no way to get a call back. So, having no choice to arbitrate my situation I told my bank to reject the charge of over $300 for a new subscription. *** then shut down my site. It's probably a good thing since I don't want to do business with a company who operates in the manner they now seem to be operating. They apparently think they can do whatever they please with no thought to the consumer. I spent countless hours upgrading my site over the years and now that's completely lost. There is no amount of anger that describes my frustration. This company should be blacklisted from operating. On the positive side, good riddance--I can now use my time in more useful ways and avoid this unnecessary frustration.******* F
