    Im only giving this company 1 star because I have to. They have been holding my payouts now for a month. My bank information has been verified and and they also have emailed wix confirming that my bank is account is active. The customer service is useless since wix does not actually have a bank and use a third party. The representatives are unable to resolve any issues. Also because it is a third party you (the wix customer) can not contact them. Do NOT use this website.

    Where to start? The list of issues with WIX is endless, and just when you need them they'll reliably NOT be available to help you. There is no customer service number, no live agent on chat, no way to communicate with a consistent person to receive help with your issues, even if they are urgent. I had my site hacked, likely by a disgruntled former boyfriend, and my entire account was gone with no record of my email address ever having anything to do with any accounts on WIX. I tried to sign in using an old email address that I had disconnected from the account years prior and it sent me two step verification to my disgruntled EX's number! That was Jan 9th, and today is the 22nd and I have yet to receive any help from them. Their messed up "customer service" seems like it's all AI, and unfortunately not good AI. This is just the most recent issue. Over the holiday season I had an issue where my domain was no longer attached to my website and there was no way to get help until I filed a ticket, which took them two days to receive and get back to me via email!!! Bull***t. DO NOT CHOOSE WIX!

    They would not refund a renewal charge on my account. I had canceled my service and they charged me anyway. They let me file a return request form but said it will take 20+ days to hear back. All I got on the phone is "I totally understand your concern" over and over. Horrible company don't recommend them to anyone.

    My website is hosted through Wix. January 7th my site was hacked from someone in *****. The hacker signed my account up for an email subscription that was spam. Wix charge me. I contacted them right away to let them know my site through them was hacked. They confirmed if was hacked and told me they would reverse the charges right away. Its been 10 days and I am still fighting with Wix on this issue. They clearly dont keep their clients information safe and take steps to do so.

    I paid for a domain with Wix. I designed a site with Wix as well, and I purchased a package. However, I was not happy with the site because it did not meet my expectations because Wix is not user friendly for a newbie. So, I asked for a refund of $384, and *** did refund that amount. However, the problem I now have is that the requirements and instructions to move the domain away from Wix to another website builder are very complicated, and at this point, I will just have to change the domain name which means I have to notify everyone connected with my online business--the ******************* the state, the parish, and the city. I'm not complaining about the fact that *** did not refund the cost of the domain, but I am complaining about the fact that I will not be able to use ".com" for my site. And that is very upsetting. Wix is basically holding my domain hostage. Wix is by far the worst company ever to do business with in the tech world. Their customer service rates 0 out of 10 because there is absolutely no one or even a bot you can chat with unless you want to pay for consultation services. Wix designs their site for those with advanced technology skills. Consequently, newbies get roped into paying astronomical amounts of money for a basic website.

    This is a completely predatory company that will lie and threaten your business to keep you as a customer. I simply started a plan and afterwards upon trying to build my website I was plagued with so many pop *** I could get nothing done. This was more pop *** than I had received when looking through their site by a large margin. Needless to say, after seeing this and that they would be advertising on my site with redirecting pop *** I chose to cancel within 24 hours of purchase and keep in mind they claim a 14-day return policy. This is where the nightmare begins, initially I was told in chat support which I have a copy of that I would receive an email detailing my refund. I received an email telling me they would not be refunding the purchase and if I felt like I still deserved a refund to contact them again. I called in and was met immediately with a rude agent who acted like I couldn't read the email or the chat support. I asked for a supervisory and the agent put me back in the customer service que. This occurred 6 more times before I got a supervisory whom I thought was polite and had handled the situation well. Then came the bullying and threats to try and get me to stay with ***. The supervisory made it ******* clear that *** would attempt to hinder my business if I did not continue with my plan. To add to this, I will also be sending all correspondence to the attorney general's office in my state as this is predatory practice at its finest. It's simply amazing a company like this has a A+ with nothing but bad reviews and people warning to avoid the scam site.

    From reading the previous reviews I see that I am not alone in this predicament. *** has shown a lack of compassion toward my situation when I saw an unexpected charge of $418 to my account. It has been a harrowing 38 days since I first sought resolution and 30 days since a secondary refund request was made (chargeback). The initial assurance of a **** business day refund process has turned into a prolonged nightmare.Upon contacting Wix after patiently waiting for 6 business days, I was met with callous indifference, especially after mentioning the charge critically impacting my finances, resulting in an overdrafted account. My concerns about this delay affecting my ability to meet basic needs and manage bills were dismissed without any empathy, compassion, or consideration.Throughout my numerous interactions with your representatives, including discussions as recent as the week of December 26th and the initial charge on November 30th, there was a blatant omission of crucial information regarding a $15 chargeback fee linked to the refund. The promised updated refund date of January 5th passed and left me unfairly penalized with this deduction, despite no prior mention of such a fee. As of today January 9th, the billing supervisor ***** told me that its out of their control and that they have to pay the bank their fees which is complete bs because none of that information was expressed to me. This situation has caused me immense financial strain and undue hardship since November 30th, directly due to Wix's mishandling of my case. Despite being a loyal customer for over 3 years, my concerns have been disregarded, and I felt utterly abandoned and discarded by the company. Im going to Squarespace indefinitely!

    I would avoid WIX. I was a customer for YEARS, I canceled my account days before my annual renewal but found out they charged me anyway. I asked for a refund and they denied it. I was a customer for many many years, I recommended them to several contacts, but not any longer. This customer service is just awful, and they have no value for longtime customers. I know am out almost $300 for a service I did not want.AVOID!!!!I would not even give them 1 STAR, they deserve NONE.

    Wix has been holding my payouts and verifying my account for months. Ive spoken to representatives and emailed back and forth and still get nowhere. *** sent in all documents that they ask for and they claim they are sending everything over to be verified only to ask for the same information again and repeat the process. STILL not resolved. Even the representatives have no clue what they are talking about. They argued with me about documents that I emailed to them saying they dont have them but when I started giving all the dates of our emails They suddenly found them. Horrible company

    There was a $510 unauthorized charge on my credit card by Wix.com. There was no customer contact number to call to ask why this charge was made. Neither of my Wix accounts reflected the charge in the billing history. I disputed the charge and reported it as fraudulent. I also had to cancel my card and number and get a new one issued. Im currently looking to move my website to another more reputable company.
