      I signed up with Weight Watchers 10 month plan. I my physician said WW is not a healthy plan. I have maintained the plan, and gained 4 pounds.I felt like their site was very misleading. You are offered a limited number of recipes, and not for someone who really needs a heart healthy diet . I have had a heart attack, and the recipes and foods listed arre not. Im not even privy to even meetings, or more information. This is a real problem that my cardiologist agrees.

      I signed up for a three-month Weight Watchers membership after receiving an email that stated, Start today for just $49! and mentioned that a clinician would tailor my plan, including GLP-1 medications if eligible. The way it was presented, I believed the cost included ***********.Minutes after signing up, I realized the medication was an additional cost. This was only made clear when I clicked on the treatments tab, which stated that a medical professional would review my case and make recommendations. I immediately contacted Weight Watchers to cancel, but I was tolddespite my quick requestthat I was locked into a three-month commitment with no option to cancel.I find this extremely misleading and disappointing, especially as my family has been loyal customers for years. I had the membership for mere minutes and believe a refund is reasonable given the lack of clarity in their advertising.I appreciate your reconsideration.

      Today March 16, 2025 AT APPROXIMATELY 1:30 PM I signed up for an offer to get a prescription for a weight loss drug - specifically compounded through Weight Watchers. I did not fully understand the process except that I would pay $0 for a review and $129 for the clinic to see if I am eligible and then after having a virtual clinic meeting I would be charged $189/month for a year. My Credit card was immediately charged AT 1:40 PM and then began the process of providing information to WW...You would think it would be the other way around. When I got to the part where I could schedule a virtual appointment I was notified that the earliest was over 2 weeks away !!! I decided then and there that THIS was not the program for me. I immediately went to the WW website and tried to cancel. I was told I. could but I would still be charged $189/mo un til March 16, 2026!!! IT WAS 2:06 PM WHEN I DID THIS. This is a contract that was not fulfilled by WW and that could not be fulfilled for at least 2 more weeks. I changed my mind immediately and feel I should be able to cancel this "membership that never even got off the ground floor. I spoke with a chat representative who told me that I was outside of my 24 hour-72 hour cancellation timefraMe----it had only been ********************************** the middle of enrolling because of the inability to have an immediate appointment. This is just unfair of WW to have us subscribe for something that we cannot even begin to use for sometime yet be charged for it!!!! I do not want to have any further with a company that treats people this way. I already had a basic $10/month membership that I would happily return to until it's ending in November if possible (I tried cancelling that one completely weeks ago unsuccessfully) I WOULD LIKE A REFUND AND CANCELLATION ON A SERVICE INACCESSIBLE TO ME UNTIL APRIL---I HAVE BUYERS REMORSE AND A CHANGE OF HEART DUE TO THE INABILTY TO MAKE A TIMELY APPOINTMENT

      Just to clarify, the initial fee at signup covers the first month of service. Also, please remember that before a consultation can be scheduled, members are required to upload their medical history. This allows our clinicians to review the information and request any necessary additional details to ensure patient safety, especially when medication is being considered.

      As per a huge conglomeration, they did not address the fact that a person is IMMEDIATELY CHARGED BEFORE FULLY COMPREHENDING EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE SIGNING UP FOR!!!

      I will state that I had medical issues and questions that were finally answered and addressed only AFTER I reached out directly to corporate. Despite the fact that I could not and DID NOT get to speak with someone about medication this is the "consultation" until 2 weeks after my initial sign-up and if I did not qualify for medication I would still be charged albeit at a reduced amount for a whole year

      WW could do a better job of letting people know AHEAD OF TIME the facts because sometimes buyers have remorse---as in my case----immeidately but because they have already charged you and have your payment info you are basically SOL.

      I am no longer requesting a refund but do insist that they make their terms much clearer for future consumers.  I had long hard discussions with **************** about this very thing and they agreed that WW policiescan be misleading if you do not read E.V.E.R.Y S.I.N.G.L.E W.O.R.D OF THEIR FINE PRINT

      On March 13, 2025, I signed up for a 3-month WW program for $247. My medication order was approved, and I was asked for my pharmacy name. When I told them ******, the only one I can use for a number of reasons, including I am disabled.I was told by 3 people that the company did not send prescriptions to ******. I was transferred to 4 people to attempt to get a refund, and I was given 2 reference numbers: ******** and ********. I began to generate a new order with a new company since WW could not fulfill the prescription they wrote. Now they say I must pay for the full 3-month plan, although they indicated they could not fulfill the med, which led me to a new provider.

      I joined the Weight Watchers clinic on February 13 for $49. I was told that I was eligible and completed all requirements. They provided me pricing for compounded semiglutide with months to month three month six month and 12 month options. I selected a six month option That was to include a membership cost and a compounded *********** medication. However, now on March 15, I still do not have medication and some how been entered into a 12 month contract for $74 a month and theyre only offering Zepbound or *********. Theres no options in my clinic setting to modify or change my programming and in my Weight Watchers Home its requiring me a 12 month subscription. I was not offered what I was promised, including the pricing and medication. Now in a 12 month contract and will not receive any appropriate medications and Im paying a monthly subscription for the next 12 months that I did not consent to.

      On March 8, 2025, I registered and opted for the 3-month WW clinic Medication Program offered by WW Clinic. They charged my credit card $49.00 for the first month and the next payment would be $99.00 April 8, 2025 and $99.00 in May ending June 8, 2025. After processing my ID with no insurance for I am quite sure my insurance would not pay. I thought and was under the impression my meds were included in the price advertised on the web. I did not know there would be an additional charge for the meds, probably at the pharmacy which WW Clinic was not upfront about (no where in writing), was there an additional charge for the meds). Then I start wondering if I was being scammed, so I googled WW clinic reviews and BBB complaints, I decided I needed to cancel because I could not afford the meds. I canceled March 12, 2025 and requested a full refund with no additional charges to my credit card. WW Clinic accepted my cancellation with no refunds and told me I will continue to be billed each month until June 8, 2025. This is very unfair. I signed no contract, started no ****. Nor have I finished the final processing step for meds by submitting my current weight on the scale with picture. This all happened in four days. I would like and should receive a full refund with no additional charges made to my credit card. Again, they were not upfront and I have nothing to show for the initial $49.00 and 2 months of $99.00 each that they want. WW Clinic want a total of $247.00 for during nothing because I want to cancel. This is definitely unfair and they need to be upfront about initial cost does not include medications costs.

      My complaint is exactly about the same deceptive membership tactics employed by WW. There has been a vast number of complaints about this exact matter, and as I can see them on this site, they have been refunded, and their mandatory membership commitments have been canceled. I do request the same. Here is what happened: When I saw WW's advertisement and offer on ***** medication promoting its affordability, I wanted to find out the monthly cost of the medications and options. The WW person said I'll be able to see the costs after the clinician talks to me. How can I talk to a clinician? You need to be a member first. I was under the impression that I had the option to cancel my membership if the medication price would be too much for me, so I continued. Then finally, the costs of medication were disclosed to me (why not before?) The cheapest being $399+membershp fee per month and it goes up to $1400+membership a month. I said, thank you, but this is not something I can afford and asked for my membership to be cancelled. They said you can cancel you membership but we'll continue charging you $84/month even if you do not use the service. I demand a full and immediate refund of my initial $49 plus my membership and future charges to be cancelled right away.

      Each case is unique, and members are required to select their preferred plan during signup. The pricing details provided to the member post-signup specifically addressed medication costs in the event that her insurance does not provide coverage. It was also clarified that medication prices may vary between pharmacies. At the time of her inquiry, a treatment plan had not yet been established, and her insurance provider had not been contacted to verify coverage.

      Upon signup, the member chose the 6-month commitment plan and agreed to the terms.

      I unfortunately missed your original email and missed the deadline to respond to the business response.

       

      The business response is not acceptable and misleading. Also, I am not a she (I am a he) and that shows they did not even look at the relevant correspondence and the screenshots I sent carefully, or checked my profile.

       

      Please do not mark this complaint as resolved, because it definitely is not and itd not be fair to do so just because I am late for a few hours in my response.

       

      I was very clear with WeightWatchers that from the very first contact that I only want to find out the cost of the medications should I be a candidate (which I am as my recent full annual physical shows) before I commit to anything. I clearly explained that cost would be my primary concern. And with a high-deductable insurance policy, itd not matter if the insurance would cover it partially because the cost would be it within the deductable amount mostly anyways.

       

      The very disturbing part is that although they knew the prices of all the medications available from the very beginning, they only disclosed to me after insisting that I have to sign up first, which is basically misleading and shady business practice.

       

      As youd see from many similar complaints about the same issue with this company, they refunded and cancelled the mandatory commitment memberships and Id like that to be applied to me, as well.

      Weight watchers clinician prescribed me incorrect dosage of medication and admitted to making a mistake, which is medical negligence. I have pictures of our messages and interactions. It also caused me to stall on my weight loss, which is the reason why I am paying out of pocket for this medication and wws help and guidance. They are refusing to refund me for at least the month of february. It has been back and forth messaging for about 2 weeks. They are only communicating with me through messaging. I have called the ww customer service line where they said they were unable to help me and to keep communicating with my care team and clinician through the messaging and gave me an escalations number which i have not heard back from.

      I signed up for the weight watchers clinic program and it has been the longest process trying to get my medication. They keep requesting more information. It takes the clinician 2/3 days to respond. I am almost three weeks past due on my shot and I still have NOT received my medication from WW. I have to order it from somewhere else. At this point I want to cancel and want a refund of the initial $129 I paid. They have made it almost impossible to do so.

      I signed up for a subscription with weight watchers on Date 03/03/25and paid $129 *********** promised to provide a service, but I never received any product or service from them. When I realized that I was not getting what I paid for, I contacted the company to cancel and request a refund. However, they refused to cancel my contract and continue to charge me despite not providing any service.I have contacted the company multiple times, but they refuse to issue a refund or cancel my membership before the contract term ends. I believe this is unfair and deceptive business practice.
