On 3/21/25 I called & scheduled a 40" w/ 3 tons for 4/7/25. On 4/2 I saw the forecast for said week, called & emailed to rescheduled for 5/6. It was confirmed via email. On 4/7 they put the 40" dumpster in front of my home. I again emailed them to say that someone didn't get the memo. They apologized and it was picked up days later. On 5/6 I've got helpers around and we're waiting on the dumpster after 2 pm I call and they say that the truck broke down I'd have to wait until tomorrow. I inquired on what the discount would be they said they'll get it adjusted when it's all said and done. 5/7 a 30" dumpster is sitting outside my home. Emailed cs because I'm naive thought it's just a mistake. Cs asked for pictures said they'd get back to me. 5/8 no customer service. Emailed cs cause no other contract has been sent so I don't even know if I can use this thing. They respond saying that my city doesn't allow 40" dumpsters on my street and that I need to go get a permit for this 30". Call, no supervisor available. Email asking pricing questions. Cs emails me 5/9 and basically say I have to take what they sent me and they'll determine later what money I'm owed. I finally noticed the red flags and just asked for a refund to which they said I'd have to pay a hauling fee. I asked how much is this fee for them delivering something I didn't ask for. They got back to me 5/12 and said $325. Also, it better be empty or the are keeping all my money. I cleaned that thing like I owned it. They picked it up 5/15. Tried contacting them getting no response. I'd like the entire $645 reimbursed. If I ordered a large sweater and they send a small I have right to my money back. I don't know how this has to go so far. Can this be a class action suit? They've got a lot of victims. I'd also like if businesses whom have a F rating with the BBB have to disclose that in their advertising.Business Response

I reached out to a company, Discount Dumpster, to have a dumpster delivered to my residential address. The purpose of the dumpster was to dispose of waste from a renovation project in my home. A dumpster was delivered to my residential address, as agreed in our contract. On 04/23/25, I placed a call to Discount Dumpster stating that I would like the dumpster removed from my property, as we were done with the renovation project. I was assured over the phone that the dumpster would be removed. I left town on 04/26/25 and was notified on 05/14/25 that the dumpster was still on my property and had not been removed. I called Discount Dumpster to ask why the dumpster had not been removed and they notified me that Discount Dumpster is actually a dumpster broker, which dispatched an Ultimate Dumpster to my home. I was not aware of this prior to that date. Discount Dumpster stated it was not their responsibility to ensure the dumpsters removal. They stated I had to contact Ultimate Dumpster in order to have it removed. This information was not stated on the original date of removal request of 04/23/2025. I called Ultimate Dumpster on 05/14/25 asking if the dumpster could be removed and they stated they had never received a request for dumpster removal from Discount Dumpster. In addition to never receiving a request, they stated that I owed them $420.00 for keeping the dumpster for additional days. After several hours of being placed on hold, being hung up on, or plainly being denied any type of customer service. ********************** Dumpster denied any association with Discount Dumpster and stated that they would be billing me for the additional fee. I am appalled by the complete lack of responsibility from both of these companies and do not plan on paying the additional fee. I would like the Better Business Bureau to address this companies poor practices so that no one else is scammed by this company. Thank you for your consideration.Business Response

Were not Discount Dumpster. We are Ultimate Dumpster. If Discount Dumpster brokered the deal to us, nobody communicated to us any pickup requests and thats something the customer to contact Discount Dumpster about. We picked up when we were actually informed. There was never any initial pickup on our end of the dumpster from the customer until the 15th. Not only does our contract that the customer signed have our contact information but there is also a text thread with the customer they could have replied to for the removal. After speaking with Discount Dumpster they never received any call from the customer for the removal. If they did they would have told them to contact us directly or would have let us know.Customer Answer

As a consumer, I met my responsibility of contacting the original company I thought I was doing business with. This is simply a scheme to ask customers to pay additional fees. I was told by Discounts Dumpsters (Brokerage Party) that miscommunication between companies is a very common complaint. The business has not resolved my issues and continues to ask me for additional payment.

I rented a dumpster and placed household clean out items- no furniture- just boxes of papers, a few folding chairs, garbage bags that I could lift (54yo woman) of old toys/clothes and spring leaf cleanup from a 0.25 acre yard. My credit card was charged for an extra half ton of garbage. I reached out to the company to see where/how they arrived at this amount and have heard nothing back. They will not provide clarification on how they calculated this amount. I want to know why I was charged because my items were no where close to 1 1/2 tons of trash.Business Response

Ordered Dumpster on 01/06/2025, the business sent the wrong size I paid for. I paid $498 total. The business showed on website and I choose a 20 yard roll off that could handle over one ton of materials, which is 20 feet long by 8 feet wide, 5 feet high. But instead they sent a dolly type wagon 4 x 6 in the picture I attached. I called the business and canceled immediately! I sent a picture of the correct one I picked on the website they defrauded me. Deception knowing that I person could not be able to cancel an order until they seen the wrong item deliver, you could do it 24 hour before delivery this is the trap and fraud. They have you money and send you anything. Please Help! The business do not want to respond with truth or justice or fairness. The delivery person said the business do this a lot. Working with these people was nightmare once they take payment contract is not valid. We ordered a dumpster for 7 days they are using the day we inquired as a delivery date. Ridiculous they don't bother to look at actual contract. Then say we told driver to pick it up early. They picked it up once I left the house we only had it for 4 days. They come up with there own dates and edit pictures to make YOU seem wrong. We were right to suspect something was wrong because they did take 2 days to deliver and could never get a delivery date. We requested a dumpster be delivered so we could remove storm debris. We were told the dumpster would be delivered Saturday 11/23 between 8-10. Dumpster was not delivered by 9:30 so we called and were told it would be another 1-2 hours. We called again at 11:30 and were told it would be another 45 minutes. After an hour and a half we called again and were hung up on several times. The dumpster driver finally showed up at 3:30 after debris was removed by other means and said Ultimate Dumpsters never called him for estimated time of arrival. Dumpster was sent away. Every time we try to call to request the refund we are told we will be called back or hung up on. We spent well over $700 and were lied to from the beginning. On Friday, Nov. 15th 2024 I contacted Ultimate Dumpsters in need of a dumpster quickly. *****, the sales person I assume, helped me set up the reservation notifying me that I would have to pay $50 more to receive the dumpster by the up-coming Monday. I spent the remainder of the day getting told by this scam company that I get no refund, then getting put on hold for about 30mins before getting hung up on. The contract clearly states that I must cancel no sooner to the delivery date than 24 hours and that is what I did, yet this unprofessional and scam company thinks it's ok to steal my money anyway. If this method does not result in a refund of my money, I will absolutely be suing them for a full refund plus further damages due to the suffering they caused me dealing with their staff who have ZERO morals.Business Response

Hired Ultimate Dumpter 9/11 to deliver on 9/13 for which I paid $460.00. But the company billed my Navy Federal account again for $367.50 on 9/17 and said the payment was rejected. This charge was said to be for an overfilled dumpster. Although the payment went through, the company said it hadn't. Then they requested another form of payment, and I gave them my BofA information. Another charge for the same $367.50 that had been paid from my Navy Federal and $52.50 were charged to ****. I asked them to reverse the charge because they had already been paid. They have taken a total of $420.00 in additional charges that were not authorized. When I called again to discuss the issue, the person quickly hung up.Business Response

My wife called to order 2 construction potties on 8/12/2024, to be delivered on 8/21/2024.Never received any information after that call. Was not asked if I had an email address, which I do not, or later discovered that they never asked for my phone number for any further inquiries.My family and I spent ALL day on Friday 8/23/2024, making at least **************************************************************************** able to reach a ***resentative.Finally on Friday afternoon, it was discovered that the contract was not signed, therefore was not processed. Originally was sent an invoice that included both potties, but that is not able to be retrieved. The **** ****, emailed that to a family member for me to sign, (received 2 different invoices only listing a quantity of 1 potty, with 2 different order dates and deliver dates.(8/12/24 invoice-deliver on 8/21/24 & 8/23/24 invoice- deliver on 8/24/24) it was then told that it would be delivered on Saturday 8/24/24. This was ordered to be delivered by 8/21/2024. It is now 8/27/2024 and I have made 7 calls today, left 3 voice mails asking for a call back and have not heard anything and still have not received the potties.My debit card was charged for both potties of ******/each within 2 hours of ordering on 8/12/24.I have still not been able to contact anyone to resolve this issue(refund, products not delivered, no customer service, no call back, no creditable contact information)The next call will be made to my bank to have the charges reversed(fraudulent charges).This was to be my 70th wedding anniversary celebration, without any bathroom services, I have a no very large sewer and water bill, that has to be paid, thanks to the ignorance of the *** that originally processed this order, didn't ask for an email to e-sign the contract, and couldn't process without, and then didn't ask for a phone number for inquiries, just wanted my money is all I see.Business Response

A port-a-potty was order from Ultimate Dumpster on June 11 by phone to be deliver on June 13. On June 13, it was not delivered. I first received a text message at 6:19 am that morning stating "your order # ****** has been dispatched!" At 10:09, I received a second text from **** at Ultimate Dumpster stating "I will get you a delivery time shortly, slight delay this morning." Then a following email "**** we are having a small issue right now can you wait until Monday?....I can offer a small discount or just refund and cancel..." I responded that Monday would be fine. I waited until 4:00 pm on Monday, and the potty had not arrived. I then called **** at Ultimate Dumpster and he did not know where the potty was. He then said he would refund ALL of my money if that was the route I would like to go. I chose to cancel the order and get a refund at this point. I have not received any refund at this point. I have repeated called. I have been hung up on numerous times or told that I cannot get a refund, even though I have the text messages to prove what was said to me.Business Response
