    Contracted Rodent X to perform rodent removal for bat infestation in August 2023. 6 months later we continue to have bats in attic and ceiling. The warranty was for 1 year.

    Squirrels have once again entered the attic and home. Under the contract, which I can include upon request, we should be covered for follow up treatment until March of 2024.

       I hired Rodentx to get rid of mice, voles in my house. I paid them 7962.60. I had to take a loan & have to pay for 5 years. The problem is not resolved. I have had them back repeadily. I called a few weeks ago only to find out their lines are not in service, text messages. etc. I feel I have been taken advantage of. Back in June, office manager said owner said he'd give me a 2 yr warranty. I cannot locate anyone. I drove to Penn Yan and it looks like the business is gone. I am a senior citizen and they knew I was afraid. I cannot afford to hire anyone else. I still have mice.

    Company was hired to perform bat exclusion services, as well as attic remediation and insulation services. Attached is the estimate for services and proof of payment. I paid the entire charge in advance. They then rescheduled multiple times, came out and did a minimal part of the work (half of the bat exclusion work, and none of the attic work), and the kept rescheduling the remainder of the work. They then CLOSED THE COMPANY, and kept our money for services not rendered. The company is unreachable by phone or email. The owner, ********* ******, is also unreachable by phone. Initially, my credit card company reversed the charges, as I filed a dispute over services not rendered. However, they now are saying that the merchant says they did provide the services, and they are reapplying the charges to my card. This is unacceptable. They did not do at least 80% of the job, and kept 100% of the payment.

    My partner and I hired rodent x to get rid of squirrels in attic and basement on March 29 2023. They removed 1. The contract was supposed to be valid for 1 year They returned 3 times to check traps. Last time was in May 2023. We paid the $7225.00 dollars. I have been calling them for about 6 weeks and texting. No reply phones don’t work either The whole removal only took 2 hours. I was happy to have the 1 year warranty they promised , to return and check traps. Very sad feel
    Like I was misled I would like at least half of the money paid back. I have cancelled checks of payment if necessary my partner is a service member

    Contract called for sealing off the entrance point of rodents. They have not completed this. No communication after weeks of trying.

    We called RodentX on 7/16/23. Dikeedrin Flores came to our house that night around 5pm. He entered our house and went into our attic where we had animal poop. He declared it was bat droppings and exited the attic. He went into his truck where he typed up a contract. This contracted stated bat exclusion, residential service interior only, sanitation and seasonal insect treatment plan. This came to a total of $4,305.10. He said once a deposit of $2100 was paid by July 27, 2023 they would compete the service. My husband paid the whole amount in full and they returned to the house on 7/27/23. They were in unmarked vechicles and no uniforms. They completed the service and left. We went into our attic a month later and the animal poop is back. We tried to contact the company using 5 different phone numbers and all numbers are either disconnected, not accepting calls or they do not have a voicemail set up. I have reached out by email 2 times both email addresses have been sent back saying the email can not be sent. A women named Lisa who scheduled the appointments used a cell phone to call and Text us during the times of services. I have texted multiple times and called and she has not responded. The ******** page is not accepting messages either. We have not received any contact from the company since the day of service.

    I signed a contract with RodentX and paid the bill in full for full bat remediation, including bat exclusion, roof repairs, removal of old insulation, deep cleaning with disinfectant cleaners to remove scent/pheromones, rebuilding hatches to attics, and addressing any other points of entry for bats--especially between the attics and second floor of the house. The salesman promised the work would be completed in a day, and if not one day, then two consecutive days. RodentX sent a crew on a Friday. They arrived late and stayed only a few hours, claiming they ran into vermiculite insulation and that their insulation machine broke down. But they did not complete the exclusion work that could have been done without touching insulation. On that day, they did rebuild one out of two attic hatches, but it doesn't seal properly, and it looks terrible (unpainted wood, upside-down and unpainted dry wall--hardly "aesthetically pleasing," per the contract). They returned only three days later, had to be asked numerous times to fix the holes in the roof large enough for raccoons to get through, did not bother to find or seal up places in the house where even squirrels were coming into the living space. They also broke a window, got caulk all over a couch and blanket, were rude (told me to climb up on a three story ladder to fix the roof myself). The company never placed exclusion traps, so wildlife got trapped in my house, including squirrels. They did not remove nesting material in the soffit or old soiled sheets of fiberglass insulation from the one attic they "cleaned" out. The roof repairs look terrible and pose new problems for water leaks. I hired this company to address not only the inconvenience of bats, but a major health concern--especially concerning because I'm pregnant. RodentX did not address the problem and left my house more vulnerable. They're also holding onto my money, which is preventing me from hiring someone who can address this health and safety concern.
