    On July 13, Dikeedren (Dave) F***** from RodentX came to my house to estimate rodent removal &remediation for my home.While there, he was very rude to me.I was desperate to get rid of the rats.He sent an estimate for $21,721.94 - requested 50% deposit so we sent $10,860.97 He didn't show up that week. Then said he'd start on Thurs, 7/21 but didn't come. Said the job would be done in 4 days by 4 guys if they could start work Sat 7/23 and Sun. Said his workers coming Sat. morn at 10:15 but didn't show til noon and there were only 2 of them.They only stayed 2 hrs and left trash (insulation) in my garage.From Sat noon,we tried repeatedly to reach Dave to find out what was happening; he didn't respond.On Sun. afternoon, Patrick F***** (Dave's father) called and said he didn't know status of the job or whether the work would continue. We asked him to ask Dave to contact us.After no response to texts/calls, Sunday night we told Patrick to cancel the job since it was all very suspect. Via text/emails Sunday & Monday, we told Dave we'd reimburse him for work done to be deducted from deposit to be returned to us. (We were stupid to give such a large deposit) NO response from RodentX or Dave.Sent another text Tues. afternoon asking again for response. Dave replied with a rude text that didn't address our request for refund. We responded the same day asking for check. By Wed. afternoon still no response. Wed. eve he agreed to talk & we asked for a time.No response. Thurs, sent more texts, no response. He agreed to talk Thurs nite.Pushed to Fri. morning at 10am. He didn't answer then 30 min later said he'd call in 30 min. Finally connected at 11:45am & he agreed to refund the deposit today minus $1000 which we offered. Said he needed 60min. lead time.We texted we'd be there at 1:30 to pick up. No response. Went to his business- no one answered the door. I texted again & he said he's not there & had "other things to do". Now Fri. eve. Nothing. Totally shady business.

    I’m willing to work with the customer to refund them. Since my last correspondence with them, I have not heard back from them regarding my offer of the refund. I’d like to handle this matter as quickly as possible for all parties involved.

    We agreed to pay $10,000 back even though we feel that is unfair to us because of the work that was done. We offered to pay it back in a few payments but the customer has not responded to us.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    This is the third time we have responded to the business saying we will not accept an offer of multiple payments. We want a single payment of $10,000 which is $860.97 less than what we actually paid them.
