      Date of Incident(s): February 17, 2025 - May 2, 2025 I am filing a complaint against Garden OB/GYN regarding a billing dispute, poor customer service, and lack of communication. On February 17, 2025, I had an office visit at Garden OB/GYN. I received a bill for $260 (account # ******* on March 25, 2025. Upon contacting my insurance company, Healthfirst, I learned they had not received the claim from Garden OB/GYN.When I contacted Garden OB/GYNs billing department *************), they could not locate the claim and did not return my call as promised. On April 21, 2025, I received a reminder email for a balance of $680. *********** confirmed they still had not received the $260 claim and that other service claims were denied due to lack of pre-authorization. I was not informed of the need for pre-authorization for these services.I contacted Garden OB/GYN again on April 2, 2025, and was told the doctor should have informed me about the pre-authorization requirement. The billing receptionist had no information and provided the office manager, Cindys, contact information *************). I left multiple messages for ***** on April 21, April 30, and May 2, 2025, but have not received a return call.I am concerned about the billing errors, lack of communication, and the failure to submit claims to my insurance or inform me of required pre-authorizations. I request that the BBB assist in resolving this issue as soon as possible.

      Took my daughter for some issues and since she didnt have NY insurance we had to self pay. The doctor was good and all but the issue we had was the billing. At the time of service they told us to pay $300 for the appointment and pelvic exam and we paid it. Then they asked to do an ultrasound for another $140 which we paid. After a month they sent us another invoice for $85. We called them and they said the office visit was $260 and the ultrasound was $265. We asked them why didnt they tell us at time of service that this is these are the fees and asked if the office manager can call us back. Never got a call for a month and they sent another invoice for the $85. We called back and they said these are the charges and we need to pay it. I dont mind paying it but they should be more transparent on the charges on the day of services so no one gets these surprises. Anyone that self pays should video record the payment at the office to prove to them that the staff doesnt know what they are doing. Hope this helps them get their act together and would suggest everyone not to go there.

      I went to Garden OB/GYN on November 15 for a regular well-woman check-up. The office experience was very off-putting the medical assistant seemed out of it, there were random men in suits roaming around in the back. I was not seen by the provider I booked with, and although the nurse practitioner I did see was great, the practice should have notified me. More importantly, it has now been nearly three weeks, and my full test results have not been provided. Partial results were uploaded to the practice's patient portal on 11/28 and 12/2, but they are less than half of what was ordered, and results were not accompanied by a provider until I reached out multiple times.On 12/4, the nurse practitioner I saw originally called to say that there is an extreme backup and that she does not know when the remaining results will be available including results that could indicate I have a pre-cancerous or cancerous condition and that will determine whether further treatment and testing are necessary. She said she could not get answers internally on where my labs had gone or what the delay was and that she planned to escalate to a director. She was not aware how many of the labs and results were **** I do not blame the provider she said she would keep pushing and call me back on Friday for an update of the situation. However, it seems that the practice has either lost my labs or is facing extreme delays. This is emotionally distressing and physically taxing and extremely inappropriate.

      At this time, I have been contacted directly by Garden OB/GYN regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

       I dont know that this will ever be resolved. After a month, I finally got my test results in (after I called the third-party lab directly and had results sent to me, but they are confusing and contradictory. It seems the clinic sent my labs to two different places and misplaced or delayed samples and/or results. And, I have gotten conflicting recommendations from their doctors on what to do. I have just decided to go elsewhere and repeat the process. The clinic did call to try to pressure me to remove a ****** review of them.

      October 9, I scheduled an appt through Zoc doc here says I would be seeing a NP ****** *****. The reason for my visit was to see if I was still dealing with a UTI or a vaginsl infection I was seen by nurse practioner and a intern blood tests were taken however they did not check me in that area I was told results should be 3-5 business days and they would reach out I was not given meds at the time. After a whole month end of Oct after many phone calls and messages to them I got no answer no results they finally call to say I had an infection that should have been treated but they did not ask to recheck me after a month merely says take meds sent to pharmacy. A whole month later. I still never got an email or documentation of my results but yet this place wants to send me a bill. I will not pay for such terrible service. If it was something really bad I had I would sue them

      Went for 1 wellness exam, all results normal. Paid $200 one month after that visit for costs not covered by insurance. 2 months later they charged me $55. Then 1 month after that (4 months after my initial appointment) they sent me an additional bill for $68.They are continuing to charge me. The itemized bill has procedures that I have not received. Ive tried to call them 3 times but each time they try to connect my call is dropped.

      4/12/24: Went to Garden OB/GYN for annual visit. Lab results were posted to portal on 4/26/24. Did not receive 1st phone call for results until 5/12. 5/12/24: Call said results were ok but had slight infection 5/15/24: Received 2nd phone call telling me I needed further testing and possible biopsy for cancer cells 6/3/24: Go for for additional testing. Prior to testing...I voiced complaint about the office having my results and sitting on them for over a month and when they were suspicious and being verbally told in the first call thst everything was fine except for slight infection in which I received antibiotics. Requested a call with pathology results when they came in. I was assured I would receive one as soon as the results came in.7/8/24: Called to see if results were in. Reception said they had the results and would post to portal. Again they had the results for a week-2 weeks at that point. Requested a call to explain pathology report 10/1/24: To date, no phone call from a medical professional from this establishment. Refused to pay $27.93 outstanding babalnce because service is not complete. I was told to keep calling for results and they will escalate the balance to the next step in the collections process.This medical office does not follow up with patients timely and are rude when you voice a complaint about their sub par handling if people's medical testing/results

      The complaint for me is that I was never call explaining my lab results, the ** never call me to talk about my lab results, I kept calling nobody call me back so I am very disappointed with this clinic. I will not be going back there again. Every time I would call there answer was we call you back and never did. So I could liberty to keep calling no reply call back I go frustrated stop trying to reach out to Garden OB Gyn. My visit was 7/16/2024.

      Extremely unprofessional office. They encourage texting and tell you not to call them. the ************* location doesn't even answer their phones, not even for other healthcare professionals. I never see the same doctor twice, if any doctor at all. They messed up my procedure. They said I needed surgery ASAP to correct the procedure but needed an MRI first to determine the exact location for the surgery. They told me to get an MRI, but never sent over the script to radiology like they said they would. Even the radiologist could not get in touch with them. Even their other locations can't get in touch with the ************* location.

      I am/was a patient at the ******** location in ******* for a couple of years and never had an issue until this year. The office looked disheveled. I saw **************** since my original provider & the ** left the practice (should have gotten the hint). It has been over a month and I am still waiting on results even though I clearly stated I suspected there to be an issue which required medicine (*** and possible yeast infection) . I have reached out on multiple occasions, in multiple ways and have yet to get a response. I am appalled at the lack of response and follow up regarding care. This was invoiced as annual and I can't afford to find another doctor and have everything redone.

      I went to Garden OBGYN on 3/14/24 to get bloodwork done because my Significant Other told me he was sexually active with other women. I had contracted ********* and **** and was treated so to hear this new from my S.O caused me a high level of stress. My blood was taken on 3/14/24 and as of 4/3/24 I have not heard from Garden OBYN. They are constantly sending me text that the results are on the portal and when I look to no avail. I need to know because if any test came back positive I need to be treated (immediately)
