I have large Cyst on my ovaries. To avoid surgery, I was told I need an IUD inserted. My Initial appointment was July 2023. I have been making appointments twice a week since then. Each week the day of or the day or sometimes one hour before my appointment, they cancel my appointment. I ask them do I owe money, they say no. I ask what the issue is, my question is ignored. My calls are ignored but my insurance is still being billed as if I have been seen. But my insurance isnt getting any paperwork to verify, so I have to pay out of pocketInitial Complaint

This practice always texts you and state that there is a $30 no show fee. I had a confirmed appointment there on 2/23/2024 at 1:15pm in the ************ office. I arrived at 1:10pm and was told by front desk that the doctor is NOT in. No one in the office bothered to notify me that the doctor is not in. Should the office not give me a no show fee?Initial Complaint

Every time I go to this facility they never send in the correct testing to the labs and I always have to get retested and I get billed for their negligence. One time they sent a swab in an expired specimen. Now this time they took 5 tubes of blood out for no reason because I dont see the results and no one is calling me back. Last year they also prescribed me the wrong medication while pregnant and I have record of that. This place should not be attending patients they simply dont care.Initial Complaint

I attended an annual gynecological visit on September 27th 2023. I followed up with the office three times by phone requesting the doctor call me with lab results. I was told all three times that the doctor would call me if any of my results were malignant and required additional procedures. I never heard from the office or my doctor. I just received a call today, on December 12th 2023, nearly three months later from some call center providing me with the results of my PAP from September. I was told that my results were malignant and I am in need of an additional procedure. Waiting 76 days to inform a patient of malignant test results is gross negligence and medical malpractice. This practice should be investigated for failing to provide necessary medical information to their patients. I will not return to this practice as I do not trust them with my care.Initial Complaint

My first visit with the practice was on July 13th for annual pap. During that visit I asked for tests to be done to investigate why I was having some vaginal discomfort. On Monday, Aug.21 I returned to have an IUD inserted. During both of those visits I encountered several issues- I arrived, I am told that my appointment via Zoc Doc isn't being honored etc. but nothing egregious until Sept 10th. I called in response to an email regarding a bill for a swab conducted. The front desk person begins to discuss the findings of the swab and kept repeating " well, it shows you have a history of ********* *********- that is NOT for the billing **** to discuss. I called to pay a bill. This was not their first infraction. When I was waiting for the **** instead of contacting me, they called my partner and left a message with full details about the **** What if that was something he should not have known about? Total violation of my privacy.Initial Complaint

I have contacted ******* the office manager and **** from HR. None of which have returned called to myself or my therapist. The provider I worked with gave the office clearance to the letter and they still will not simply type up a letter for me. I am ashamed of the way this office does business. There is no care to my health and they simply do not value their patients.Initial Complaint

I was scheduled for an appointment on 1/17/23 over a physical health concern that is causing chronic pain. My results were in the office by 1/26/23 and I was told a doctor would call me back in order to discuss my results by end of day 1/26/23. No one reached out to me so I called the office back by end of day and they told me to view my results online. I then told them what I was told by a previous employer that a provider had to read my results. I am not equipped to decipher what my results mean and is a blatantly lack of respect and patient care. The employer then assured me that the doctor would call no later than 12pm the following day. That did not happen and I called back again in which I was told they would call back at the end of their shift which was at 1:40pm 1/27. When the time passed, I called again and they said the doctor would call shortly after 2pm and they put my results as priority. I have yet to describe my results and now must wait 2 more days before I can reach anyone during business hours. The lack of care for my physical health is appalling and needs to be rectified or at least acknowledged. I am in pain and am constantly getting the run around with my health.Customer Answer

Dear Sirs/ Madam I would like to file a complaint regarding Garden City OB/GYN, Gynecologist Long Island Address: 200 Garden ******************************************************** Phone: ************** My Account number with this ********: ****. On 12/13/2021, I went for my annual exam to the OB/GYN Office, which I had done the *** Smear test and the Pelvic Sonogram. In September 2022 I received an invoice from the OB/GYN from December 2021 office visit to be paid $1,384.20, I told them I have an insurance ************ and also gave them the right ID Number, I thought they are sending it to the wrong ID. Two months later in November 2022 I received another bill from the ******** for $1,384.20. When I called again their ******************* I was told that this is my bill for that visit, and I must pay it immediately or they will refer my case to a collection agency. I just didnt understand this bill that they mailed me back in September 2022 and then again in November ************************************************************************************************************************************* December 2021 I was fully insured, and they told me that they accept my insurance: ************************* Platinum Number: ********* started on January 1st. 2021 to April 30th. 2022 (attached) insurance, I paid my co-payment at that time, which they asked me for cash, they didnt want any checks. When I called their billing department, they told me that I must pay that amount because the insurance wont pay for that routine visit, and if I agree to pay monthly, this will remain between myself and their collection department. I didnt like that statement they made, and I think this is fraud, also I did call ***************** they told me nothing was filed with them during the year of 2021, and they are sending it now why one year later, why so late? Also, in the same invoice they sent me visits of ten (10) years ago to do with ********************************************* (my last OB/GYN ******** before this) I believe this is truly an ethical of what is going on in this ********/doctors. When I called *****************, I was told that the refused to pay for this visit because it was filled way too late. I am sorry but it is not my fault that all these things are going on in this OB/GYN ********. This is very unreasonable for them to refer me to a collection agency. Their representative from their billing department *********************************************, Billing Tel: ************** which I called on Friday, November 25th she didnt to hear me what I had to say on the phone, and hang up on me in the middle of my conversation the only thing she said if I dont pay this bill, she will refer me to a collection agency, and they will damage my perfect credit rating. I just received the letter attached, that they are referred me to a collection agency. This is totally unreasonable from them providing they didnt file the invoice to my insurance on-time and thats not my fault and now they want me to lose my good credit rating because of their fraudulent charges and incompetence. I would appreciate if your department can help me in this matter ASAP, that is very unfair to me because of an ethical doctor/medical ******** and their billing department. I also looked at the feedback on your site and Yelp about this company and they have *** negative complains about dishonest business ********s. Sincerely,*******************************Customer Answer

Garden OB-GYN medical practice, at the last minute today, rescheduled my new patient appointment with a licensed physician for 11/12/22 (tomorrow), for one with a Physician's Assistant at another location. They said this change was necessary because the doctor I was scheduled to see does not accept my insurance. However, I was NOT informed the new appointment was with a Physician's Assistant (not a medical doctor). Moreover, the office informed me weeks ago, when I first made the appointment, that the doctor I had chosen DOES accept my insurance. Apparently most if not all of Garden OB-GYN DOCTORS do NOT accept my insurance (it is actually the non-physician personnel who do). It is not only false advertising to schedule what patient's believe will be medical doctors' appointments with personnel who are not licensed physicians, but also unethical to do so without the patient's prior knowledge and consent. As a result of what seems to me like a last-minute "bait and switch" practice, nearly three weeks have elapsed since I made my appointment, making the option of my finding a new doctor quickly very difficult - which is concerning because I have a medical issue for which I need a doctor. Moreover, the practice sent me about a dozen reminder texts and emails of the initial appointment, which I found harassing. These practices should be reformed, and also reviewed to determine whether the company bills insurance at a physician's rate for any services performed by Physician's Assistants or Nurse Practitioners. See my attached letter to Garden OB-GYN. I appreciate your assistance in this matter. Thank you.Initial Complaint

I would like to formally file a complaint against Garden OBGYN Forest Hills On December 11, 2021 I visited the **** Park Garden OBGYN location for an annual exam. This was my first visit with them. My appointment was scheduled with ********************************* but without an explanation I was seen by a PA instead. I received a **** approximately two months later for around $700 for procedures that I did not approve or request. Beginning March, I repeatedly tried to contact the billing department to gain clarity pertaining the charges but I have been unable to get in contact with any employee from this office. Specifically, I called the billing department number listed on the **** on March 15. I called 13 times with no answer. I tried again the following day with no results. On March 17, I called the **** *********** and spoke to someone who transferred me to the billing department; I then spoke to someone in this department who stated they would adjust my **** and send me a new one. Again, I was sent the same ****. I called the billing department again on April 12 and could not get in contact with anyone. The phone kept ringing and there was no option to leave a message, I again called the **** office and spoke to ****** and after being on hold and trying to explain my situation, my contact information was taken yet again, I was never contacted. Essentially, I have called different locations to try and contact billing but so far have been unsuccessful. I have left several messages with **** *********** and have yet to be called back. I need an itemized **** of the services rendered but so far I havent received any information. As such, I refuse to pay this ****. I am unsure what the next step should be. I have spent over 10 hours trying to resolve this matter, but this office has yet to provide any clarity on the charges or attempt to rectify the situation. It is worth noting that other customers have had similar experiences, based on the reviews of this office.Customer Answer
