    Thieves!!! I have e-bill, never even get the bill until past due, already lodged that complaint with the BBB & another one went in, last months bill $87.10, this months $202.56, WHAT???? It was warm last month, I did not do anything different!!! I work all night; sleep all day, even turn hot water heater off, now the range...They told me to go take pictures of my meter, live in apt. complex, ummm, where is it??, & I have a full time job Thank You, think that is your job!!! & they are the only service available, & ****** *, I would also give - stars, These companies have a monopoly here & that is WRONG!!

    I would give 0 starts if I could. I have been fighting them for almost two years now about my bills. I was assured it was worked out and now I just got another $1000 bill for last month. Enough is enough!!! This company has been found guilty of negligence and fraudulent practices towards thousands of their customers, and yet somehow they are still allowed to scam and steal from their customers. I have put complaint after complaint in to the ***, *** ****’s office, and Central Hudson themselves and nothing gets permanently rectified. This company is profiting millions yet still skimming extra from their customers.

    Central Hudson seems to be adding charges to my bill that are rediculously high and when questioned about it they say that is the way it is done. They are the only game in town so if we do not pay, we freeze. That is not the proper way to treat a family with kids. Someone should investigate their procedures and force them to give back what they took from us.

    Multiple things wrong with my bill. My meter number doesnt match ************ yet number on the bill, the electric usage bar graph that should be consistent every month has different numbers on every bill. I got Solar back in December 2021. I received a $4,000+bill in May 2022 their explanation for that bill was that the meter was not switch over to solar until April 2022 and that was the back logged amount I owed from the winter after I was paying every months bill. I reached out to my solar company for help to understand my bill because I dont see any of my solar credits on any of the central Hudson bills and central Hudson has to put in a ticket for them to investigate and for me to get any information on any of bills. After waiting 3 1/3 hours for customer service to answer my call was disconnected. Adding to another 2 hours of waiting before I got no answers to my questions.

    Central Hudson billing is in accurate most of the time. Complaints keep being given no remedy for almost 2 yrs 1. Send e bills when not requested 2. Estimated meter reading. Saying they do not have meter readers and the customer to take pics and send to CE. Did I apply and get a job that I dont know about it. This is a service CE is supposed provide 3. Estimates are 3x the usage of historical data. They expect it to be paid. I was told it is called forward billing . So I go to ******* I want to buy a sweater for $15 but I pay $45 and then I can get 3 more at a later date. To make billing is accurate takes numerous hours of monitoring the billing. 4. They are keeping the $$ in their account while customers especially seniors are skimming by to pay their bills

    I would give negative stars if possible. This is the worst company I have EVER dealt with! ***y are scamming people left and right, and there is nothing anyone can do since they have a monopoly in the area. I was put on a budget plan by CH for $120 month and after upping it mid year to $190, I was hit with a $2,600 bill at the end of the year. After calling several times I am being told that the bill is correct because I "used my AC this summer." *** woman on the phone even told me that "being a single mom with 2 kids, she keeps her AC on 76." So essentially this company wants people to sweat to death in the summer and freeze to death in the winter to be able to afford their bills. No one can make sense of how they are billing **! A ***** sq ft home with 2 adults and 1 toddler and we are using almost 20k in kilowatts per year? We work out of the house full-time and no one is home during the day. It is a SCAM and they will not do anything to fix it!!! BEWARE OF CENTRAL HUDSON!

    Been a customer for over 25+ years. I have always paid my bill early and usually by Nov-Jan. I've overpaid and there is no payment due.Imagine my surprise when I went on to pay my monthly payment and now, they are saying I owe $1,619.95 because their supplier upped their delivery charges!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *******% Ridiculous!PLEASE BBB - Investigate this extremely scam company! I have no other electrical supplier where I live!Thank you - "FUMING AT THE **********

    I would give the lowest amount possible, we have been in a ***** sq ft house, and for the last two years our electricity has been higher and higher, and this past month we were notified we were not paying the correct amount and now we owe ******* and this is after Sept 1, 2022 when they put on their website that the rates were going to change and two days later i received a bill for ******* and they said its been that way all the time, yet we never received a bill showing past due, my monthly **** is **** dollars who can afford that, thats two of my car payments, something has to be done, we live with elderly people and i know that they can not afford it. I have **** told numerous times someone could come out and look at the meter and they never show up, and it started after they decided to use the scanning from the vehicles took place instead of walking to the meter. I would like to know what i have to do to get this taken care of, they leave you on hold for a half and hour or longer than hang up so you have to call back, they will be getting what they usually do plus extra, but something needs to be done.Thank you *************************

    Ive been in communication with central Hudson for MONTHS to resolve multiple billing issues. Ive called dozens of times and waited on hold for over an HOUR to be disconnected, or forwarded to the main office and it randomly hanging up. Ive emailed customer service many many times with pictures of my meter, as well as dates, times, and even calculations of usage since they cant get it right! Ive spoken to 3 representatives who have acknowledged the repeated over billing, and insist itll be corrected, instead of fixing it they INCREASED IT MORE. This company needs an overhaul of their staffing and overall practices as a business, its pathetic how they **** people 4,5,6 times the amount they should! I will not be paying my **** until it is CORRECTED AND BILLED FOR ACTUAL DOCUMENTED USAGE.

    This company stole over $8000 in two months. They charged me $7780 in on month!!!!! for a house that isn't lived in! They won't let me delete my autopay and no one gets back to you. They all say they're looking into it and no give any invoices on said billing. How does that make since when I'm usually only paying $50 a month for a 900 sq foot house! These people are liars, cheaters, scammers and are beyond fraudulent.
