we have been with them for some time now... but this last few months they have charged ridiculous prices , the second our contract was up for renewal they delivered 180 gallons of heating oil and charged us ***** per gallon . I called to complain yesterday and review our "contract" options, and today they delivered 100 gallons at ***** per gallon when the average price all over the cape is 3.50 / gallon being captive because they offer a service contract - not cheap over ****** watch your wallet

We appreciate the feedback regarding ***************** experience with Oil Express and are happy to address her concerns

2/25/2025 Our Customer ********************** Manager called the customer to discuss this complaint.  She spoke with ****** *****. She adjusted the delivery in January as well as the one he got on 2/25/2025. She agreed to regretfully close the account. He stated he is going to speak with his wife, and he said in the future he thinks they might come back to give us another chance. Our Customer ********************** Manager states ****** was very happy with the follow-up.

2/25/2025 A delivery credit of $205.88 was issued for the January delivery invoice reference # ******. The 2/25/2025 delivery for ***** gallons was billed at a special price of $3.659 / ga, instead of our Retail Price of the day $4.979 / ga, on invoice reference # ******.

Our understanding of this matter is it has been successfully resolved.

Hop Energy here in ******* delivers my fuel, today i ordered a fill up and the lady said, well you'll get it sometime between now and December 2nd, I said i have less then a quarter of a tank she said well i guess they will get to you. That was very rude, someone like that should not be answering phones or talking to people. In the past who ever answers the phone has been very pleasant and helpful, that's bad for business. All i can say is if i run out i will be changing fuel company's.

I can't fault some of the great workers that they have here at the company. They are generally very nice, however the range of incompetence and price gauging is beyond believe. I have had multiple issues with this company. From handling a water leak which led them to turn of the A/C condensers and never turn them back on and then try to charge me for that. They did a boiler tune up, but then left and never turned the boiler back on and then wanted to charge me again for coming back. They routinely mark up parts by 3-400%. The billing and accounting people couldn't be more rude. The old service Manager **** ********** was great and I appreciated his help in a few instances. They tried to sell me a new propane tank for cooking where as other co's were happy to certify the existing tank and refill it. Unfortunately I did not work with them when they were a smaller mom and pop company but now with more corporate management their genuine focus is overcharging and nickel and diming wherever they can. They make a mistake, they want to charge you for another service call. Sure their pricing is somewhat competitive and they are swift to respond to service but they are more then happy to charge enormous fees without any explanation.

I was working for an oil company that Hop Energy bought out when they bought them out the contract stayed that they keep us as full time drivers so 4 years later they lay me off and another driver me and GJ other driver they laid off we were doing the most work for the company I was delivering on an area no other driver wanted to deliver to and the other driver was delivering oil and propane I also know how to deliver propane to but they ladies is of and trained the white guy to do propane when they already had 4 drivers to do that so why they lay us off and train the white guy to deliver propane sounds like discrimination then they turn around and make me and the other drivers seasonal drivers when we were hired full time not only that the just bought another pill company so why lay us off when they just purchased another oil giving those guys full time status over us something is not right

HOP ENERGY/Supreme Oil refuses to comply with several requests to provide information for a service, they claim, I had a chimney liner installed in May 2023, but this never occurred. Previously, we had an issue where our oil was prepaid, the company threatened to send us to collection, I informed them the oil was pre-purchased and paid in full and now they claimed we had a liner installed and this NEVER HAPPENED. The company has no idea what they are charging me for and refuses to comply with my requests for proof of service or a contract. The billing department one month claims I have a credit, then we receive statements for several months with a zero balance and now Hop Energy is sending me to collection without validating a request for a contract of work. After requesting an invoice with three representatives none of whom could figure out what the bill was for, they have now made up a fake service for a chimney liner.I've requested to speak with a manger/supervisor and instead, they send me a notice to comply with payment within 14 days or be sent to collection. BUYER BEWARE THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY.

Same as a few other complaints. Had a contract expire but they do automatic deliveries anyway unless they hear from you. They were calling incessantly so I blocked the number because it was daily that I would get renewal calls. I didnt want to renew and clearly didnt want oil deliveries. They billed me at ***** a gallon which is an insane amount and after I called to complain, they are lowering the cost and finally deleting my account. I will never use them again.
