      As a new customer I am more than pleased with the deal. Also with the employees I have spoken with, like the one that came to check the oil tank, he was on time and very kind. About Francis H***** I have to say that she was extremely helpful and pleasant and answered all my questions. I definitely recommend Hope Energy to everybody.

      I called DDLC HOP ENERGY in August to settle my account balance for Aug 2021 - through Aug 2022 and did not renew my contract due to inflated pricing. They delivered 117 gallons oil on Nov 1st without my consent or knowledge and charged me just over $6.00 a gallon!! The oil prices on that day were only 5.00-5.04 a gallon and feel they are taking advantage of an ********************************************************************** effort to get rich during a recession. You need to stop delivery (requested written consent on 11/7 is in mail) and negotiate a reasonable price for the oil you delivered to settle and close my account .like requested in Aug 2023.

      Scam! Hop Energy refused to deliver oil stating the tank had rust. My son went under the tank as well and took pictures. NO RUST!!! Another oil company delivered 220 gallons of oil the next day without an issue. We believe they only wanted ** to purchase a tank we didnt need! Its better to pay a little more for oil than deal with this sketchy company! Beware!

      I had a propane tank in my yard with no companys name on it. We have never filled it or added anything to it as we use it only for cooking. Last year after we bought the house someone from DDLC came to the door and asked if we were going to use them. When I told them that we are only doing it for cooking he stated its not worth my time and walked away saying that if we ever went to go fill it we had to use them and we would sign a contract. Almost a year later a person with a hop energy truck early in the morning walked into the backyard looked at the tank and left. The following Wednesday I received a call from hot energy or he mightve said DDLC stating it was their tank and we needed to sign a contract. I told him I needed a couple of days to research what I wanted to do and to call me on Friday. I never received any call and yesterday that same truck pulled up went into the backyard without permission and left. When we went to go cook dinner that night we had no fuel and I went outside and saw that this person had disconnected the propane from our house and apparently took the hardware to reconnect it. This is just pure sneaky low life business practice We paid for that propane at our closing as an adjustment to the old owners and if this is their way of getting you to sign up for business to rent a six dollar and change tank that business practice wont cut it. we are now switching to tank farm which does not charge a rental fee especially considering that we probably only use about 30 gallons of propane a year and do not have to pay $72 a year in rental fees. Underhanded business practices get you nowhere

      Predatory business practices. Plain and simple. Was with this company for over 12 years and should have left much, much sooner. They will deliver oil outside of the agreed plan and then charge retail price for it (50% over market). If you catch it and don't just pay what they ask (I did that for several years never thinking that they would be this brazen about fleecing a longtime customer), they will then (out of the kindness of their hearts) prorate the amount owed if you agree to another prepay or cap program, just so they can turn around and do it again the following year. I finally paid the retail price for my last delivery just to be done with the company...best money I ever spent with them. Don't be like me, stay away!
