      The term thieves is to kind. Malicious and deviant billing seems to be their operating mantra.
      After canceling our lease my wife notified the office on Airport Rd on Hilton head island SC. I accidentally left the lock on the unit. Instead of notifying us of the my error to continued to charge my wife's acct.
      When confronted the employee was unhelpful, crass, without Decorum and smug beyond imagination. They wouldn't allow me on to take the lock off the unit. Instead they cut the lock themselves. I hope the entire company goes under. Deviant business practice at its finest. Greed knows no boundaries with Prime storage.

      Hi ***: Our administrative fee is a one-time fee that our facilities charge at the time of move-in. This is a very common fee in the storage industry that is used to offset the costs of setting up your tenant account and processing the paperwork.       My unit has a severe leak when it rains it floods. I’ve spoken to management, corporate customer care and the district manager. Everyone passes the buck. The DM is incompetent. She has had 2 months to find a resolution to the issue and still nothing has been resolved. I have moved most of my belongings into two other units which I pay for in addition to the unit that floods. As of today I’m paying roughly $1400 per month for all units due to this flooding. I’ve asked to speak to someone over the DM just to be told an email will be sent and someone will respond within 48 hrs. 2 weeks later no response. I advise no one use this company. Also management has allowed and continues to allow vagrancy on the grounds and living in the units. They are all aware but claim they don’t have any knowledge of this. Stay away!!!

      Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. The
      tenant notified the facility that there was water in the unit.  She was provided with an additional unit at no
      charge to accommodate her while unit was being repaired.  Tenant was not satisfied with
      the alternate units that were offered to her and wanted to remain in the unit
      that was being repaired.  As
      such, we consider this matter as having been closed.  If there are further questions or concerns,

      I have been trying to contact them, and you can't get anyone on the phone, email, or call you back. I've been a customer for over a year and the sign up process was annoying alone. The two employees trying to get me checked into my unit that I purchased online took over an hour to get through the process and my door code still doesn't work and no one could figure it out. I gave them a pass because I could open the door other ways and how often will i ever have to interact with these employees again? I was wrong. I have never missed one payment because my auto pay is on. It processed fine last month, but for some reason this month they didn't process it and no one attempted to reach out to me via email (and I checked my spam) until after the bill was past due. Why didn't my auto payment go through? My card is not expired, my accounts aren't frozen and everything else that is on auto pay is processing fine. I then looked at my previous month's bill and there is an extra charge of 17$ and I have no idea why. It looks like I'm being charged twice for the same unit, and again I can't reach anyone to ask questions and the auto payment took extra money last month. I am mad that this might be the only way to get help. I am a decent customer and I hate making a stink, but I just want people to do what's right.

      Another ****** Off customer,
      I was just going to come and go at my leisure to get my stuff out of this ****** business.
      This has to be said- After they did a bait and switch on me, I continually contacted them that I had a different credit card but they kept charging the old one which was closed, so the charges kep rising from the $59 I started to pay up to $294.
      Then the owners daughter made a deal with me to get out for $100 by the 8/22.
      Then all the sudden she emails that the deal is refused and all of the sudden a payment is made to my credit card for the whole amount.
      I wrote that I was going to come at my leisure to pick up my storage.
      And here I am the gate won’t open for me, I go inside to see the lady behind the desk taking an order for a reservation with another computer screen facing me with the customers name, phone, email, cost ect.
      What the **** is another screen facing out to an waiting customer. Then she’s frustrated with the phone conversation so she tells me she’ll open the gate. I tell her about the info on the screen, the HIPA laws and now I’m locked out of my storage.
      I called to get someone here now and if they don’t come in the next five minutes I’m calling the police.

      Nope don’t do it! Since prime Storage took over cube smart, I have seen 2 increases. This past October a 47% increase, now… just recently I received notice that next month will be $403 a month. That’s about a 45% increase. I rented an outdoor 10 by 30 drive up. I started out paying $188 a month. Please look at other places. Your going to move in then have crazy high cost…ugh then to move all your stuff again because this company is clearly not knowledgeable in money management.

While we can appreciate Ms. ******'s concerns, her monthly rent has been significantly under market rates and was identified to be increased in the normal course of business after providing notice in accordance with her lease agreement. Nonetheless, management has worked with Ms. ****** and offered a reduced rate increase. As such, we consider this matter as having been closed on that date.
