This inquiry puzzled us as we don't have any orders in our system for ********************* or **************** or for the address provided. So we call ***** ************ fulfillment house to investigate further. As it turns out the customer was mistakenly directed to ******************** -- it is NOT our order. The order was placed on her behalf by an Agent called ** ***** * **** ******* and we suggest the complainant reach out to them directly to answer any questions at **************. Since July of 2022, I have been receiving a **************** ******** that I did not request or order. After attempting to cancel the ******** on the **** ********* website, I was informed my "subscription" was through Strategic Media, LLC. I NEVER created this subscription. I NEVER signed up for this ******** or any other ********. I attempted to call the number provided but was of no help. This is ***** ******, owner of Strategic Media. I left a detailed vm and em explaining how he got the magazines and that there is no cost and no automatic renewal. Knowing there is no bill he may wish to keep them so I asked to be notified (left my phone and email) so he can tell me if he still wishes to cancel or keep. Starting in June 2022, I began receiving a magazine subscription to ***** **********. I did not request this magazine subscription and I have never read, or heard of this magazine. I've received 3-4 unwanted magazines so far. I did not order, request, or authorize any kind of payment for this magazine. When I looked on the publisher's website (****************** *************** ***** to seek cancelation of a magazin I had never orded. I was instead refered to - Strategic Media, LLC Subscription Agents - Who placed this order in my name. I cannot stress enough that I did not request this magazine, I have never reached out to Strategic Media, LLC, nor have I given them any kind of permission to order magazines in my name and send them to my address. Or to any other. They have unlawfully used my personal information without my permission. I have reached out to them and will continue to do so until this subscription is canceled at no charge to me now or in the future. I also would like for all my personal information (including any credit card information) to be deleted from their records. I also want steps taken to ensure that no further subscriptions are added in the future. I see from other complaints that Strategic Media has stated these were a gratuitous bonus added to another purchase. I would like information on which purchase of mine triggered this and how. Thanks.PS: As a **** ****** survivor, who never smoked a day in his life. I find the fact that Strategic Media began to send me a magazine subscription to ***** **********. I recently began receiving magazine subscriptions to my home under my name. I did not request these directly and the most recent one ("*** *** ********") when calling to cancel the magazine stated I was signed up by a third party Strategic Media. I didn't consent to having these sent to my home regardless if I paid for them or not, this does make me wonder though, how often this company is using my personal information to sign up for anything without my consent regardless if I pay for it or not. I am not one to simply constantly sign up for websites, subscriptions, etc. without review for my personal safety and that of my family with how information sharing / selling works.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. ******* from Strategic Media contacted me and said I was placed on their free magazine subscription offer after a purchase at **** ****** **** last April. She said there will be no charges to me, they will cancel all subscriptions and there will not be anymore future subscriptions. They will put me on their "Do Not Promote" list and delete all of my information from their records. If all of this is done then I will be satisfied and will consider the matter resolved.

Strategic Media,I have been receiving **** ****** for a while and NEVER ordered it or gave my consent to order - and NEVER to pay for it. This is ***********************, President of Strategic Media. This customer is actually getting two magazines totally at no cost for one year as thank-you gift for making a qualifying site purchase. The gift is included with the purchase and there is no cost and no automatic renewal. I will try to call the customer to explain in more detail and determine if he wishes us to cancel his subscriptions or if he would rather keep them. This is ***********************, President of Strategic Media. I tried to reach ****************** by phone but she did not pick up and her voicemail is not set up. These subscriptions were all included as a gift from one of our partners for visiting their site and there was no bill ever for them and they do not renew. I have gone ahead and processed cancellations for all her subscriptions and added her to our Do Not Promote list so she won't get any offers like this in the future. Please be advised that she may still receive 1-2 more issues as the labels are pre-printed but I have in fact processed the cancellations. Thank you.
