2 starsBuyer Beware Notice We signed a multi-year vendor contract with ACS Shows for a minimal $50 savings and were told we could cancel by July 1, 2025. I marked my calendar accordingly. We attended our first show in October 2024 and were surprised by how many vendor booths were empty. The event provided poor ROI, and *** did not deliver the exclusive lead list as *********** February 2025, *** contacted us about participating in their April 2025 event at the same location. I declined via email and phone, restating that we never received the lead list and were not moving forward. Unfortunately, I did not send a formal cancellation notice, assuming my clear communication was ************* July 2025, I received an invoice for the October 2025 showthree times higher than the previous year. I immediately contacted ***, reiterating that we had declined participation. They claimed I needed written cancellation confirmation. This is where their deceptive practices became clear: unless you use their exact cancellation process, you're trapped.*** offered to reduce the invoice to the original ********************************************** not we attend. Thats when I realized this isnt about helping vendors or bridesits about trapping businesses in contracts and collecting fees. After expressing frustration, ACS hung up on me. That night, I received a letter from their collections department threatening litigation if I didnt pay by 8/1/25even though the invoice wasnt overdue.ACS Shows engages in misleading sales tactics, uses deceptive contracts, and makes it unnecessarily difficult to cancel. This is harassment and unethical. ***** doing business with ACS Shows.Review fromBarbara K

I made a mistake by checking a box that stated "save $50 on multi-year shows," and now I am being threatened and bullied into paying for a show I am not attending. If I do not, I will be sent to collections and have to pay an additional 35% in fees, etc. I explained several times that this was done in error, and requested a resolution that did not involve me paying money I do not have. Additionally, the original show I signed up for was unsuccessful; they provided a list of potential clients, but not one responded, not even the prize winner (a free service). This is a total scam.American Consumer Shows LLC

*******, we are sorry to hear you did not find the bridal show to be successful. There are many reasons why a 1st time vendor experience may differ from their expectations. We welcome the opportunity to speak with you regarding your booth set up, promotions offered, lead list follow up and more. Our shows are very successful for so many vendors nationwide. We also want to address your comments regarding payment due for your next show. You are being contracted for payment because you did not reach out to us to cancel prior to your cancel date. You registered for the show with a multi year commitment. Your account executive walked you through the multi-year discount and opt out date for future shows at time of registration. Your cancel date is clearly stated on your contract. And, We also sent you a welcome email highlighting your 5/1/25 cancel date. After the cancel date, we don't accept cancellations, and do require vendors to pay for their booth space. However, we are flexible. We do allow credit to a future show if you are unable to ********** reached out to cancel on 5/28/25 which was past the cancel date which is why we are contacting you for payment. *** does not threaten or bully its clients. It is reasonable for us to expect you to honor your contract. We are happy to speak with you to resolve this matter. Kind regards, ACS.Review fromCathie W

Do not fall for this scam! They will sign you up with a multi year contract then fail conveniently after the cancellation date to contact you. They will lie and tell you they have tried repeatedly to contact you, which of course they havent. They will tell you that you were sent an invoice, which they never did. If you ask them to please forward the email containing the invoice, they cant because they never sent it! If you have any correspondence with them they are extremely rude. This is a joke of a company. They will then tell you that your account is being sent to collections, which is actually their own collection company! Anyway, whatever you do, dont use them, you will regret it.American Consumer Shows LLC

1 starI'm experiencing the same issues with this company and their multi-year contract. My interaction with ******** ****** in their office was particularly troubling. She was unprofessional and combative, which seems to echo the experiences of others. When I was evaluating the show last year, I asked **** ***** about expected attendance, and she informed me via email that they anticipated ***** to ****** attendees. Unfortunately, this number turned out to be significantly exaggerated; actual attendance was nowhere near that estimate.More seriously, the company has violated PCI compliance multiple times by sending my full credit card information through email, unencrypted, in PDF attachmentsshared by three separate employees. This breach forced me to cancel my credit cards and enroll in credit monitoring, resulting in unexpected expenses and inconvenience.I spoke with **** ******** today about the situation. While she was courteous, she showed little concern that her company had compromised my sensitive financial information and is in clear violation of PCI standards.Review fromMary B

1 starIn February 2024, I contracted with this company to be an exhibitor with ***. This was for a multi-year showing. Due to financial issues, I was not able to participate in the show for 2025. The contract states that *** is to be notified by Dec. 1st of the year proceeding the next event. *** send me an email on December 12th requesting payment for the next show.I informed. the representative that I will not be **************** January I began getting calls and demands for payment. I have no problem paying what I owe this company. I was told I had until June to pay this debt, however, I get constant harassment calls and letters of being taken to court. This has been a terrible experience and I warn others about the unprofessional collection practices deployed by ****I will pay this debt, but this company is horrible their collection practices.Review fromGenevieve Z

1 starI was working on invoicing this morning when I received a phone call from an incredibly rude and unprofessional individual who told me I had to pay for a booth at a show I was unable to attend this year because of an event which had booked me prior. I explained that I was not attending this year and they demanded I pay anyhow. My business is not the type where I could hire someone else (I am a performer), but even if I could, this year I owed a surprise $5000 in income taxes. I explained to her that I couldnt afford it this year anyhow because of the surprise tax debt, and she told me I still had to pay because I would have had to cancel months ago (but I wasnt contacted about this). Earlier in the year I spoke with ACS shows and a very sweet employee asked about my plans and I informed them of the prior engagement, and she thanked me and I told them to please notify me of future dates so I could hold them. It was a good conversation. But this morning the person who called me sounded like an angry and disrespectful mob boss demanding I pay for an event I couldnt afford or attend. It is absolutely inappropriate to harass and bully a small business owner in this way. I tried to explain the situation. She curtly told me she would send over the contract I signed for a 2-year show and I told her it didnt matter, as I was $5k in the red and already booked that day anyhow. She sent it to me anyway to remind me I owed them my future business. Such a hostile individual. She had me so shaken from the verbal abuse, after the call I was unable to concentrate on invoicing and felt stressed out about paying for a wedding show I couldnt even afford, nor did I have the availability to work. If I had known this was an unethical business I would never have signed up to buy a booth at their shows. I cant support people who bully others. There was no reason to harass me this morning. They already knew I couldnt attend the Wedding Expo this Summer. I told them already.Review fromBrianna C

1 starI had the unfortunate experience of dealing with American Consumer Shows LLC, and I can confidently say they are a scam operation. They use deceitful tactics to manipulate people into signing multi-year contracts that are impossible to get out of. When I realized I wanted to opt out for this year's show and tried to cancel my contract, they told me I couldn't cancel it for the current show but offered to let me use the credit for a future show. However, given their horrible customer service and the awful experience I had, I had no desire to deal with them again in the future. The entire process has been a nightmare. The staff is unprofessional and uses scheming language to trick you into committing to something you don't want. They care more about locking people into long-term contracts than providing any actual value or service. Their customer service is horrendous, and it's frustrating to try to get any help or resolution.I would not recommend this company to anyone, and I would advise you to stay far away. This has been an incredibly stressful and negative experience. 0/10, do not waste your time or money with American Consumer Shows LLC.Review fromAbrielle M

1 starZero stars. This is a horrible company. What a nightmare. They get you to sign mulit-year contracts, have extremely poor customer service and are unethical in their practices and dealings. Two women I spoke to yelled at me over the phone, used threatening language that if you don't continue to fulfill the contract they will send you to collections. They lie, intimate and twist your words. Anyone that works for this company should be deeply ashamed due to company values. It is clear they value their contracts and money, putting profit over people and do not care to maintain good relationships. The retention specialist would never put me in touch with her boss, claiming that she was the head of the department. I asked many times. I wish there was more transparency with this company and ****** reviews because if you're reading these reviews here it is probably too late. *** has lost our business and all future participation.Review fromTania P

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM - There representatives are liars who will tell you one thing over the phone but when you go to cancel or request a refund they will say their contract states you cannot. DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACT with this company ever.
They are sneaky, dishonest, and do not care about their consumers. They are about one thing and that is making money for THEMSELVES. Any company in good faith could cancel a contract and refund money but this company refuses. They rope you into multiyear contracts. I tried to cancel my contact way in advance and request a refund and they stated I could not cancel because I signed a multiyear contract. This COMPANY is the worst and SHADY. These reviews say it all.
I am looking forward to joining the class action lawsuit against you and your unethical business practices.

***** *****. Evolution Travel -************ by ************** contracted for the Florida Bridal Expo in ***** being held May 18, 2025. The contract for the show clearly states no cancellations accepted. We understand sometimes a vendor 's schedule changes and they can not attend the show. We work with our vendors to provide credit to a future show. ***** is trying to cancel from the 2025 show, which is the initial show she booked. We are able to cancel her from future shows, but not from the current show. Her option is to attend the show or accept credit to a future event. We are expecting an excellent turnout at the event and hope that ***** will be present. Kind regards, American Consumer Shows.Review fromAmanda E

If I could give ACS Bridal Show zero stars, I would. This company is the epitome of predatory practices toward small businesses. Their contracts are intentionally deceptive, with automatic renewal clauses that require cancellation 11 months in advancesomething they conveniently fail to remind you about.Ive participated in other bridal expos for less cost, and they were far more professional and accommodating. Those events offered options like cocktail or 6-foot tables and chairs at no extra charge. ***, on the other hand, charges outrageous fees$35 to rent a folding chair and $50 for a tableon top of their already steep price tag of $1,300 for a six-hour ******** make matters worse, I didnt see a single new sale or lead from the last show I attended. Considering the lack of ROI, poor communication, and hidden fees, this event is an absolute rip-off. Its no surprise they have numerous BBB complaints for the exact same shady ************** your time and moneyskip ACS and go with a bridal expo that actually supports small businesses.American Consumer Shows LLC
