      I made purchase and I had to come back to pick up my product once my background came back. They called me and said I can pick up my product. I went to the store and the employee told me that I am not able to get my product because I smell like Marijuana. First of I already made the purchase so really they are holding my product and money. Second I do not smoke. He is racist that's the only solution I can think of I am black so he think that we smoke weed. I had my friend with me who smoke however it was not me. He discriminate against me.

      Hello ******. Thank you for your review. In our Terms and Conditions, we do state under General Firearm Sales: #8 You are not an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance.
      To maintain safety and compliance requirements, if our staff suspects, smells, or sees indications of illegal drug use, we must stop all sales or use of our range for the safety of EVERYONE.
      The employee was not being racist, and we take strong offense to being labeled as such. Compliancy with Federal Law is required to maintain our license. Please make sure when coming into our facility that you and your guests understand we cannot sell to anyone who is suspected of being high, acting high or drunk, etc. This is not discrimination; this is a Federal Law and a safety concern. Thank you.

      I have never experienced a bad time at the range. Even when there are people that seem to think that the rules do not apply to them, the staff is overwhelmingly polite TO A POINT. However, I do feel that once a line is crossed by an unruly customer then it is within the right of the company to become firm and strict in their handling of the situation. It IS a firearms store and gun range, after all! There can never be "too much safety." I have witnessed customers come into a store REEKING of weed and the staff just quietly informs them they must leave (and even spray air freshener for the rest of us who do not want to smell that,) customers feel they can just walk around the range with their firearms out, flagging literally everyone, yet they get angry when told this is against THE CLEARLY POSTED range rules. They then want to get angry that they are asked to leave the range for unsafe practices! Range USA has some of the safest and cleanest ranges and stores across the USA. If you are having a bad experience, believe me...it is because YOU are doing something unsafe or against the safety rules. Don't blame the company because you aren't safe! I highly recommend Range USA as a safe and responsible place to buy and learn about firearms. They cannot be blamed because customers do not want to apply the safety measures and then become disgruntled. I have been in the store with a diverse customer base and unless safety is an issue, the staff treats EVERYONE with respect and courtesy. I have witnessed this in several of their locations where I have gone to shoot. If you value safety and responsible gun use, take a membership, it is worth it. If you do not value safety, go anyplace you like.

      EVER EVER BUY A GUN AT RANGE USA. I purchased a 12-gauge online but then needed to cancel the order two weeks later -- I never even picked it up BUT RANGE USA is deducting 25% for doing nothing. They just lost my business fovever and the worse part is that the team at the Lewis Center location are really great and nice people. Some money-hungry so-called executives behind the scenes came up with this horrible policy.

      We apologize you are unhappy with this service.  At the time of purchase , on your receipt emailed to you, we let you know that once the items have shipped to the store there is a 25% restocking fee for any cancellations.  This can also be found on our website.  We pay the shipping cost to have the firearm shipped and have to pay the shipping cost to have the firearm sent back. Moreover, instead of being defensive you should ask yourself if the shipping cost for the product is worth losing a customer.       Transparency, fairness, and respect should form the backbone of any business, especially one dealing with firearms. Unfortunately, it seems like RangeUSA falls short in upholding these principles. Range USA corporate creates store rules that allow them to discriminate. I purchased a monthly membership with the company for about 6 months. I went to the range about 3times. Each time was an absolute cluster. From Check In to the range experience. On my 4th time I was told I was unwanted in the store. No explanation, send an email to corporate. A billing problem on their end caused and issue, and instead of rectifying the problem, they banned me from the store. No problem, I don't have to beg a company to take my money, I will just go elsewhere. When you look at the negative reviews about this company, there is a pattern, and it comes from their corporate office.I urge potential customers to think twice before supporting a business that seemingly disregards their customers' rights and treats them differently based on race. There are plenty of other firearm retailers who respect and uphold the principles of fairness, transparency, and constitutional rights.Spend your money elsewhere and support companies that support community, not abuse & defame the customer.

      Purchased a NEW ***** Max 9 on line from Range USA to be picked up in Knoxville, TN. in Knoxville, TN. Order was placed and firearm purchased July 25, 2023. The Knoxville Store received the order and I picked up the firearm July 27, 2023 and was checked out by David. After returning home, the ***** box included no manual of arms or ***** stickers. The front lithium fiber optic sight was damaged and the typhoon blue finish on the slide was “scuffed” at several locations. I returned the box and firearm to Range USA July 28, 2023. Range USA shipped the firearm to ***** for corrections. I was notified by Chris of Range USA on August 8, 2023 that he received the firearm from ***** and that the front sight was replaced. He stated that the firearm is being shipped to **** Shooting Supply to repair the “scuffing” and finish on the slide. I went to Knoxville Range USA the following day, August 9, 2023, and spoke with Cris and requested a copy of the ***** correspondence that accompanied the replaced sight. Here is the quote from *****. “ITEMS REPLACED: FRONT SIGHT, GRIP FRAME, SLIDE STOP AND SPRING, TAKEDOWN PLATE.” Still waiting on my NEW ***** Max 9. I am currently drafting a letter to Corporate Range USA in Cincinnati, Oh requesting an explanation of how a NEW firearm gets checked out (by David) and released to the customer with an incomplete box of basic, but important information, along with a damaged product. I previously had a productive conversation with ***** Customer Service and was told that information such as a manual of arms and ***** stickers left out of the box from ***** is highly unlikely, but not a 100% guarantee. I will never purchase a firearm from Range USA again. Great facility for range time but staff is highly questionable. *** *****

After some review, we believe the issues with your firearm were due to mishandling by the third party armorer who applied the cerakote finish to the firearm on behalf of the distributor. We do encourage everyone to inspect their purchases before leaving the store with them, and we encourage that precisely to prevent difficulties like you experienced. Your firearm is currently with the distributor for the repairs you described in your review, and we hope it is returned promptly.

      This is not a correct response! Range USA has offered to replace the firearm entirely with a new firearm, including a fresh background check. I have accepted the offer. Range USA has notified the distributor and the distributor will be shipping a new firearm to Knoxville. I applaud Range USA for their quick action and response in addressing my concern(s).

      They have a deceitful membership page on their website. Once you think youve canceled your membership, there is no confirmation. The membership page after canceling does not show canceled or anything related to your membership ending, and it still shows a cancel button. I wanted to cancel my membership because I am moving for college and there isnt a location nearby so I wont be able to use it. After I canceled my membership, I logged back in to check my account and I somehow renewed my membership without pressing a renew button. I was only looking at my saved payment methods on the membership page. After I noticed I was charged, I contacted customer support to ask for a refund and cancellation of my membership. They said that all membership purchases are final and non-refundable. I never pressed anything that would renew my membership but I got charged anyway. This renewed membership just started and I haven't used it (because I won't be able to use it), so I don't see any problem with giving me a refund.

      I asked about a **** form and was immediately told I am intentionally avoiding the form. This was not the case, as I was seeking info on it.The member of staff immediately revoked any firearm purchasing privileges.Ive bought several firearms from here with no problem, Ive even talked about the **** form a few times to other staff members but this manager was not kind at all. I would avoid the Akron store, and all of their locations, at all costs.Elite Membership canceled.This was the behavior of the store manager.A Range USA corporate employee told me that the manager determined "the customer was trying to subvert form ****"... "in his limited information" - "he might have overheard something" - "He should have had a better interaction with you"It is rather infuriating that someone, especially the manager, would assume one is trying to subvert a federal form because they asked some questions about its use. How absurd.Avoid, avoid, and avoid!

      The new store in Bridgeton Mo. has called me for the 3rd separate time to make corrections on the 4473. I have been filling out these forms for 40+ years and have never had a correction once. If you buy from them, make TRIPLE SURE they check that the form is filled out correctly then have them double check again before you leave.
