CUSTOMERS PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS MOVING COMPANY. I totally regret hiring this moving company for a long distance move. In the initial part of the process, customer service was great; however, after my furniture and etc was delivered, I noticed several items missing while other items were damaged beyond repair. I filed an insurance claim with the US Interstate and Rail, LLC and I everything went downhill from there. I contacted US Interstate and Rail several times for 6 months and I kept getting transferred to different departments and they could not assist me. I finally was able to speak with a manager; although she was helpful during our conversation, I think she was just trying to appease me and end our conversation. I continued to make calls to this company twice weekly until I received positive results and my check until last week when I called, I discovered that the number has been disconnected and no one is responding my emails. I have done all that I know how to do in order to contact this company. I am not sure if they are still in business. For those of you who are planning to use this company PLEASE do not. I am sure there are better moving companies that you can utilize.

If I could give a negative star I would. I paid them to move items that where picked up of what was left in my garage and they had me pay over $10,000 just for what was left to be moved from ** to **, last year in August. When I went to the storage unit the stuff was not mine and in mother unit I recognized a few items, but the other bigger items where no where to be seen. I was in contact with a *** *** when it came to payments and now when I call the number she was texting from it is no longer in service. So I am LIVID and wanting to figure out how to get my $ back from a non reliable moving company. WARNING DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!

Man, where to begin. They changed our move date at the very end when we had to be out of our apartment in ****** and moving to *******. Had to pay for a another provider who graciously accommodated our misfortune with this company. The told us we'd have a 13 month credit for when we move the following year as we told them we were going to. We went to get our credit started and they were absolute liars about anything and everything. They told so many lies, cheated us out of thousands of dollars, and simply were as rude as one can be. BEWARE. Read these reviews! I'm a therapeutic Optometrist with 33 years of practice and was totally taken by these people and their methods despite feeling I am fairly well-educated. They are a scam a system to do a money grab and leave you high and dry. BEWARE, stay as far away from this company as you can!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. SCAM COMPANY. MONEY THIEVES. This is the worst company in *******. They are absolute crooks. Stole almost $1800 dollars from us for a "deposit". Didn't tell us about how the price would be tripled until about 3 days before our move. Then said NO REFUNDS on your deposit. They said they would honor the move next year, and gave us an extra thirteen months. When it came time to move this year, they said "we don't do same state moves". Stole almost $2,000 from my wife and I. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! I would rate ZERO stars if I could!

DO NOT USE US INTERSTATE AND RAIL!!! Complete bait and switch that others complained about, paid triple the quote, then charged an extra $1000 for them to switch trucks since they said the truck would not fit in our complex while holding our belongings hostage until we paid it.. Every single piece of furniture was damaged, boxes were destroyed/smashed, delivered upside down, two TV's that were bubble wrapped and packed in TV boxes were smashed and many missing boxes and they tried to deliver someone else's boxes to us. The driver walked in with my electronic table in his hands that had been packed inside a small plastic storage tote the was packed inside a larger one. They obviously opened our totes and went through them. Good luck trying to file a claim, they make it absolutely impossible. they want copies of all documents (we have 66 pages) and it has to be below 10MB in size, try doing that. Same with pictures, they have to be in one document less than 10MB in size, we have 107 pictures of all the damage so how do you do that?Horrible experiance

If I could give this company zero stars, I certainly would. I had just lost my husband and needed to move cross country. When I originally contacted the company about transporting my items, I was given a quote of about $2500. But in the interim, I had sold many of the larger items. When the movers got there, they told me that because of the square footage size, that I needed to pay more. I ended up paying practically triple of my original quote. Which made no sense at all because most of the items I had sold were the largest. So then I couldn't afford the larger amount of insurance they offered. The movers also told me the higher charge was because of the "high quality of my furniture"--seriously, folks-ALL of my furniture was bought off of Amazon. Although it had strong sentimental value, none of it was what I would consider "High quality". So that was in May 2023 that everything was moved. Even before they loaded the truck, they broke my desk. Thanks, dude. When my furniture FINALLY arrived, almost 3 months later-there was an 18-******* with ONE guy who didn't speak English and unloaded everything at 1030pm-sorry, new neighbors-this guy just threw the boxes randomly out of the truck and expected me-a 67-year-old woman to bring them inside my place. Hardly any of the boxes or furniture had the stick on labels telling me the information I would eventually need to file my claim for damages. Every single piece of my furniture was either damaged beyond repair or scratched. My boxes were crushed to where those contents were damaged as well. It is now February ****. I am still waiting for my $76.00 claim check to arrive. Every time I contact them, I am told they don't have a tracking number yet. Sure you don't, US Interstate and Rail. Your company should be absolutely ashamed of themselves!!! This company is completely deplorable.

Bait and switch! Don't use them. Didn't show up on promised date and waited until our last possible date and doubled the price. Took MONTHS to deliver items and could never give an accurate update as to location of delivery truck.. Many items damaged and MISSING upon delivery. The delivery truck was a mess with people's belongings thrown all about the truck and obviously not cared for. They were a horrible experience and I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE..

I want to warn people about this company. After sending the representative photos and measurements of what I wanted to move, they gave me an estimate that seemed fair. They were to pick my items up on Weds 7/6/23 and deliver them 6 hours away in a different state on 7/8/23. What they didn't tell me is that after they received a 40% deposit ($1000), they sold my contract to **************** moving and storage out of Georgia. After loading 60% of my items, they said the truck was full (another person's items were also in there) and proceeded to tell me after I gave them another $1000 that it would be $4000+ more than quoted. They refused to take it off the truck. The movers then demanded a $350 "tip" in cash a piece. And I do mean demanded. I had to rent a storage unit for the remainder of my items. I was told on Friday the 7th that I would not get a "delivery date" unless I sent this new company over $3800. (My entire quote was on the contract was for $2,100). None of the paperwork from this new company had any identifying info on it and the truck they used to move me was an Enterprise rental. Because everything was packed, I had to purchase furniture, plates, silverware, glasses, coffee maker, washer and dryer, a bed, mattress, lamps, CLOTHES, towels, draperies. I didn't receive my items until the end of august. My furniture was soaking wet (ruined), broken and infested with ants. I am investigating a complaint with the ************************ in both ******** and ******** on both of these companies. Luckily I have all my documentation. This should be illegal to hold people's items for ****** and threaten them. My $2,100 move ended up being $7,400 to the movers and about $5,000 in other costs...including renting a truck to bring the rest of my items up from storage that they left behind. I hope these people are held accountable

I wish I had seen these reviews. I have had the same experience with the initial low bid, bait and switch, doubling of the price, late show up to load and then increasing the price again, but add on the storage component. After the first "free" 30 days", they charge $1,000.00 a month to keep your belongings in storage until you give them a delivery address that they can "put on the board" for delivery. Each month I have had to track them down to get some way to pay them because they don't give an invoice or a website or a link. I have heard nothing this month at all and fear all of my furniture, kitchen appliances, dishes and everything are gone. I don't know what the recourse is and am feeling very cheated and angry. They have taken me for a lot of money AND they have all of my earthly belongings. Had anyone filed a lawsuit? I think we could probably do a class action suit if everyone on here is having the same problem. Why can't people work this hard to do good in the world?
