      We have had Rumpke Trash pick up service for over 16 years. On June 15, 2022 my wife ***** called Rumpke and cancelled the service because trash had not been picked up on a regular basis. Such as promising to be there when expected, week behind or not coming at all for three weeks straight. We had prepaid for Rumpke trash service in May 2022 in the amount of $122.37 for June, July and August 2022. We have contacted their customer service to Rumpke numerous times concerning our trash not being picked up on June 8, 9 and 10, 2022 After we called and cancelled their service on June 15, 2022 and customer service stated they would process the refund and it would be mailed to us very soon. We spoke with Rumpke again on July 15, 2022 asking where is the refund? They called back and left a message on our answering machine stating that they were working on the refund. Huh? But, when we spoke to customer service on July 7, 2022 they stated the refund was already sent out. On Thursday July 21, 2022 we left another message by phone to Rumpke stating that we have not received a refund through the mail and suggested that they need to place a tracer on the refund check with the USPS that they supposedly mailed on July 7, 2022.. We would like to have what is owed back to us after we cancelled services on June 15, 2022. We are tired of the excuses and the run around. Please help us resolve this. We just want our money back.       Better Business Bureau:



      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution will be satisfactory when the additional check of $ 40.79 is received in the mail according to Jan from Rumpke on July 28, 2022.  Jan indicated the check would be processed and mailed on 8/3/2022 from a ***** ******** bank.  We are still waiting to receive that check.  We have already received a refund check in the amount $ 81.58 that we received Monday afternoon on July 25, 2022.  The checks will be a grand total of $122.37.  When we do receive the check of $40.79 and cashed, then we will consider that satisfactory.  But only then.

      They pick up recyclables every Tuesday they consistently leave half of them in the can. For a family of 5 I need it emptied or I won't fitt everything In the following week. The arm/claw on the garbage truck grips can to tightly and it blocks some of them from coming out leaving me with a half full can!!! This has happened 5 times in the last 4 months. I've called repeatedly and have been promised a pickup by end of business day over and over again it's now been 48 hours and my can is still at the street full because they didn't empty it the first time. We pay for this crummy service with our taxes and have never had a problem with other garbage companies. This place is horrible they need to do their job already!
