      Rumpke double charged me for 2 years to rent a trash can. When I discovered the error, I asked for one year of credit. They refused. So I bought my own trash can and asked to cancel my rental. They said to leave the can out on my curb or else they would charge me $50 if they tried to pick it up and it wasn't there. The can was out front for more than 2 weeks, at which point we had to call them again and then they picked it up. Then Rumpke charged me for an additional month of trash can rental. I'm so happy to have my own can and not have to rent from this group anymore.

      Rumpke has changed 100 per cent the customer service has dropped tremendously. I am in the process of cleaning out my relatives house that has passed away. I started in march and have been paying the trash bill. I had about 7 mattresses and box springs and a recliner chair to be picked up by trash. I have had
      Nothing but issues and have had to call the office about 10 times and customer service was very ugly, rude and very persistent. I had last pickup 2 weeks ago and they did not pick up because there were totes and no one told me there were a charge. So they did not pick up NOTHING! I had to rewrap mattresses, and chair and took the totes. They still did not pick up trash after they said they would. This has been very stressful and should

      Rumpke missed my pick up for 2 weeks straight but got everyone else on the street. I called after the first missed puck up and they told me it would be collected in 48hrs. They never came. Week two cam and passed. Still no pick up. Called customer service back. Absolutely no reason or accountability for taking your $$ and not giving the service you paid for. No attempt at resolution just another empty promise to pick it up in 48 hrs. We canceled service and all we got was "ok, it that all".....They do not care about keeping the account or trying to make it right. Smh..

      I help take care of a church camp that has 100+ people a week throughout the summer. After multiple missed pickups, overflowing dumpsters, and non returned phone calls and text messages from the Sales Rep or supervisors, Rumpke decided they would no longer be servicing us. Without any notice, they came and took the dumpsters leaving us with no place to put our trash. No warning at all, just gone. Four weeks left in the season, a new group starting next week, and we are left scrambling to fix it because Rumpke can’t do the job they were contracted to do.

      Have missed picking up my trash for 22 days and counting. Ive talked kindly to customer service at least eight times and been told today or some date in the future they are going to pick up. Still havent picked up. Beyond frustrated.

      Wish I could leave a 0 star review. Rumpkes incompetence almost cost me my deposit on my apartment. They also took no accountability for never picking up my scheduled mattress TWICE. This monopoly is everything thats wrong with our capitalist country and I would rather pay money to any other service then ever give rumpke a dime. ******** excuse of a company.

      They do not pick up your trash every week, only when they feel like it, and customer service is no help.

      For the first 4 weeks of service my trash was NEVER picked up on time. The very first week of service my trash sat out at the road from ****. night until Sat. night in terrible rain storms and was knocked over several times. I called over and over and was told it would be picked up the next day. I took it back to our house on Sat. night. Week 2: Put out at road (double amount of bags) and after three days of calls I was able to get a supervisor to call me back. Three days after scheduled pick up missed he drove his personal truck to our home to take our garbage. Week 3: No pick up on our scheduled morning. I called Rumpke. Garbage was picked up later in the day. So, I thought we might be on the right track now. Week 4: Garbage sat out for three days again. I called at least 5 times. I was told a supervisor would call me about this happening over and over again. No call. I was told I would receive an email about what was going to be done. No email. On the third day after scheduled day it was picked up late afternoon. I am done with this company. I found another provider that I will try next week. Cancelled our service after FOUR weeks of mistakes, over 20 phone calls, and the worst service ever. **************** is very polite and apologetic and that is why I gave them four weeks to get this correct. Rumpke failed.

      Rumpke absolutely destroyed all three of my garbage cans within a relatively short period of time. One of their drivers even had the nerve to put an order a new can orange tag on one of my cans that they destroyed. I called customer service and they were absolutely no help. They told me It comes with the service. The BEST advice I can give anyone on here is to order your trash bins from ***** and not from Rumpke. ***** offers a 10 year warranty on all their trash bins. Rumpke offers a ZERO warranty!!! ***** will replace their trash bins when Rumpke destroys them and Rumpke will not!!
