      More than just plumbing and drains. All their Water Restoration Tech's are IICRC certified and trained. Great techs who know what they are doing, from start to end.

      TL;DR - Do not use Roto-Rooter for any drain services. Employees work on commission and will sell you unnecessary sewer line repairs using scare tactics. Sewer line cleaning was insanely expensive and sewer line needed to be cleaned by a 2nd company because it was not fully cleared.
      Story:
      Our sewer line backed up on February 26. I called the first number I could find with good Google reviews: Roto-Rooter.
      Once the sewer line was cleared, they brought out an 'excavation field supervisor' with a camera who scoped our sewer line. He showed me where my sewer line was supposedly broken with a 2in offset. He said it was an emergency and that the entire sewer line needed to be replaced. The project would require excavation of the yard to access the broken pipe and insert a liner and would cost $17,000+.
      I got a 2nd opinion the next day. I was told right away that my sewer line was NOT BROKEN AT ALL and the "broken" section was actually concrete slurry on the inside of the pipe. The 2nd company cleared the concrete slurry from the pipe and provided me with a video for 1/3 of the cost of the original sewer line clearing by Roto Rooter ($700 for two lines).
      The 2nd company said my sewer pipe was fine and didn't recommend any repairs. I sent the sewer line video to a 3rd company and they agreed - my sewer pipe was in "great shape" and did not require any repairs.
      The Roto-Rooter employee who scoped my sewer pipe was either incompetent or malicious. How did he not know that the mass in my pipe was actually concrete slurry? The top of the pipe was still flush, indicating no offset. If he did know it was concrete slurry and not a broken pipe, he was purposefully trying to sell me costly unnecessary repairs.
      Roto-Rooter tried to convince me that I unnecessarily needed an entire sewer line replacement. They used scare tactics including telling me multiple times that it was an emergency and telling me not to flush toilet paper until they could complete the repairs.

      Thad Roto Rooter come out and fix our master bathroom shower. He explained to me what the problem was and approximately how long it would take to fix it. He was very kind and knowledgeable about plumbing.
      He did a great job and everything was completed in a timely manner.

      I had a great experience with our plumber, Van. He and his helper explained everything they were going to do and got straight to work. They cleared up my drain issue and leak. I would certainly use them again if I ever need anything. Thank you Van!

      Rotor Rooter is a big rip off. I had a problem with replacing a shower cartridge in my shower. A simple process but I have arthritis and was not able to remove the cartridge which was a little stubborn. I had everything broken down and all the plumber had to do was pull the cartridge out and slide the new one in and re-assemble $483.00. I did have a $75.00 off coupon which brought it down to around $350.00, still absolutely way over priced for the job. I had the water turned off and had to leave town that same day so I had no choice but to hire them. NEVER AGAIN BUYER BEWARE this company is a RIP-OFF

      I had to have water mitigation complete after a neighbor’s pipe burst and flooded my home. The mitigation team was wonderful however the reason for the one star review is because of the accounting and billing department. My insurance was going to pay the bill however, they required various documents (W9, photos invoice, etc) in order to pay. When I emailed the contacts listed on my invoice (Cherie and Kenisha), I learned that they actually sent these documents to the wrong insurance company. I copied them directly onto an email with my insurance agent to try and get these documents sent over. They never responded with the documents. I also followed up separately with them asking to have the documents forwarded directly to me and I was completely ignored. A few days later, Kenisha finally reached out threatening to send me to collections, even though I made multiple attempts with her to get my documents so that I can pay this bill. I finally got the documents. When I called their office to pay over the phone, it went to voicemail even though it was during their office hours. I proceeded to send a check via mail but that hasn’t stopped them from calling my mom (even though they have my phone number) asking for payment. For a company that has to work with home insurance companies everyday, it is disappointing at how difficult they made this process.

      My elderly Father lives alone and when the pipe in the wall of the garage had a leak he called Roto-Roote because he thought they would be good. By the time they showed up hours later I had arrived and cleaned up all the water and turned off the main valve. The person from Roto-Rooter cut into the sheet rock and left it all over the floor. He then turned on the water and it leaked and flooded all over again, this time with sheet rock floating in it.
      He left it that way and then I was baraged with another part of their company that insisted and pressured us to get it cleaned up through them at an additional cost.
      Here we are 4 months later and again after paying someone to repair the sheet rock where the leak was (by a separate company) the same pipe is leaking again inside the wall and they gave us a window of when they would come and "repair" it. But, not without that stupid restoration high pressure person just showing up without notice pressuring us to have them give us a quote to clean it up again. Ridiculous! I would never ever call this company for anything!!!!
      You'll be sorry if you call them.
