      Key Bank tellers in the Rocky River, Ohio office seem to be having a bad year or two. That's about how long it's been since the last time I heard any one of them say 'Hi, how are you today?' instead of 'What do you need?' Not even a 'have a nice day' So unprofessional. It wasn't like that a few years ago. What has happened? I feel like driving out of my way to another branch, or just switch banks, there are plenty around.

      The branch did not process the death paperwork of a deceased mortgage holder and subsequently foreclosed on the estate while it was IN PROBATE. They never notified the personal representative of the estate despite having their contact information. They refused to cooperate with the PR until the heirs were forced to pay off the mortgage, plus the constant "property appraisals" and the attorney fees. They ignore Executive Services case queries, i.e., string you along to think that they are concerned. Nah. And OF COURSE never sent property owners tax forms.

      One of the worst banks I have ever had to do business with. They won't answer their phone at all. Their mobile app does not work, and I cannot use my card on gpay. They have next to no customer support, their banks all close at the wee hours of the morning, making it physically impossible to use the bank or ever speak to a real person.
      This is not a banking company, this is a scam company.

      Worst experience I have ever had with a Bank. They gave literally stolen money from me. There was about 12 hrs when every transaction was doubled. They have also approved deposits, I paid my bills, with the cleared deposit....they revoke the deposit that night for 5 days! Then I get hit with over draft charges and returned check fees
      I don't know how that's legal. Stay away.

      Rude branch manager and terrible customer service. I've been with Key Bank for approximately 10 years.I went into the branch to inquire about CD rates. I was told a money market would yield the best interest rate. In order to receive the 4.5% interest rate I needed to close out my current account and open a new account. After the paper work was completed and the new account opened, I asked why my daughter wasn't on the account. She was a joint owner on my previous account. I was told she would need to come into the branch office with photo ID and sign a signature card. My daughter does not live local and there are no Key Bank branches in her area. At no point prior to opening the new account was I verbally informed she would not be a joint owner. She is joint owner on my checking account and there is a photo ID and signature card on file. I was informed there was nothing they could do. They leave me with no choice but to open an account with another bank with branch offices in 48 states.

      I got a new account opened with keybank this last month and made a mistake with a mobile check deposit that I didn't know was fraudulent and if I had known I would not have cashed it and after submitting documents I get a response that my account is closed and that they want to cancel my account and usually I am very careful about online scams because I don't give my debit card information or anything like that and the last check from my employer I couldn't access any of the funds and I was told by the fraud department that I can go to any keybank to get my cash or have it mailed and I go to the bank and when I get there I find out that it was sent in the mail didn't get a chance to get my cash and if they where going to do that they should have sent it to my employer because I am out of food, I have a roommate that isn't in good health and I have a appointment that I am going to get charged a cancellation fee of 30% and I have rent that is going to be due and other bills to pay and due to the way fraud department treated me on this I never want to do business with them again and I hope they sink because I feel that I was wronged for making a mistake.

      Save your $ and SANITY. ATMs everywhere not working and they will lock your card for any type of transfer to another bank. Don’t bother disputing anything even if fraud on your account, they do not provide provisional credit. they do not investigate disputes. They also will not give you any type of paperwork or digital document with any information about your disputes.. constant headaches with cards not working due to”Bank” maintenance. Horrible customer service with language barriers. 0 stars

      I have been with KeyBank for over 6 years I will make sure not one of my friends or family members ever do business with them … being charged for items that was never included in my card ! On top of them holding onto your $$ Scam company !

      Like hundreds of others of victims, I chose Laurel Road as my bank account due to their sign up bonus and savings rate. I had a checking account for over a year with them, so opened up a savings account that I was able to connect banks and deposit funds into. But, when I tried to withdraw money, they locked my account without warning, and all existing transfers I had scheduled were rejected. My funds became unavailable - funds I needed to pay bills and rent. They were unavailable over the weekend, despite automatically locking me out during it. On Monday, they requested documents that I provided immediately, but they took their time. I have been waiting almost a month now, and despite constant phone calls, emails, and complaints to the government and on their social media, they refuse to give me access to the tens of thousands of dollars they have locked away from me. Do not trust these people - they are grossly incompetent from the top-down, refuse to fix the issues that they've caused, and do not care about their customers or the law.
