      contacting fair Housing within N.R.P about my application which was denied because their staff makes the appointment times not the potential tenant. This cause a conflict with completing the application requirements. I submitted a complaint in August of 2022 and I submitted an appeal and it was not acknowledged. I have since submitted a public records request for any complaints and information to show applicants denied. I submitted this to N.R, P Fair Housing and Veronica Sauer which is in Corporate. Requests for accommodation for policy relating to appointments, which I was informed via emailed from the fair housing department to request. Seems to be ignored. I have stated that I need to get an assistant because I am disabled. I am ready to file another official complaint as well as contact the media about how there seems to be no remedy to ones concerns and issues via their fair housing division.

      Hello,
      I am filing this complaint for my grandmother a resident of North Central Village, Columbus, OH.
      As a senior, she was afforded the opportunity to qualify for a free washer and dryer through this program. One of the requirements is that they will need proof the apartment does not provide washers and dryers to the residents. She went directly to the rental office with a form provided by the company, but they refused to complete it. Then when asked if they could provide a statement on letterhead, they refused to provide that.
      I spoke with Jayla/Javonna today and asked if we can find in the lease that the apartments only provide washer and dryer connections; she said no. We have been trying to get simple proof that North Central Village does not provide washer and dryer units ONLy the connections. She was rude, dismissive, and overtalking, and stated legal said for her to respond that way. In dealing with seniors, your staff should advocate and assist when possible. We asked for confirmation that the apartment does not provide the actual units.
      I suggest training her to ensure she interacts with guests as best as possible. Sadly, seniors are one of the most overlooked populations. It is terrible that a company that has increased rents, does not even have the security gates in place nor replaced them to date, and has poor customer service would have someone like this being the face of the property. It would be a good time to take a hard look at the quality of staffing that is in place and get someone that can do the job and also have greater customer service skills.
      I am not writing because I dislike the answer; I am writing because the answer was delivered poorly and without tactfulness.
      I need to hear back from someone as soon as possible to get a remedy to state, “NO, Northcentral Village does not provide physical washer and dryer units.”

      I am sending you this message in regards to “TANA *******” Her demeanor as a representative for your company is NOT a good one. She has been very selective in how she treats a certain “class of people” you can tell by her responses. She has your company rated as 1 star based on her performance. Not only has she been like this towards the person who left a previous review, but to someone I know personally. She comes off as prejudiced and that’s not a good look for the company. She has made people feel as though they are looking for “certain” type of criteria in order to be a resident at *** **** in Cleveland, OH.
      This is inappropriate and unacceptable. She could very well cost the company a great deal— with type of behavior! She also twists her story in regards to documentation. She also leaves people in a state of mind of confusion when it comes to the paperwork. It is not fair to the owner of the business who specifically created this project to “help the community in having a better place to live!” Her behavior of dangling a carrot in your face is also inappropriate. ALL families, no matter the ethnicity deserves to live in good quality.
      Her overall body language explains how she “really” feels about people (whatever) she thinks of them! This has to STOP! It is not fair to the people who want to better themselves and their living situation based on “personal thoughts” “personal vendettas” and anything else that involves discrimination!

      Worst Apartments Ever !!!! No Security No Privacy & You Basically Sign A Lease For Nothing Because The New Management Doesn’t Honor It They Just Make You Pay Whatever & Dont Let Me Get Started On The Maintenance Guys I Have Proof They Are Walking In People Apartments I Have Things Coming Up Missing Everyday & I Haven’t Made A Maintenance Report So Why Are You In My Apartment Unannounced? It’s Either The Apartments Fix This Issue Or I Will Simple !!!!

      The worse place you could ever live from the staff to the managers all I’m going to say is RUN STAY AWAY they look nice but don’t let that fool you living here is a nightmare on elm street and the new black manager they have in there hides in her office all day acting as if she can’t speak to no one

      I only left a star because the option to not leave one wasn't available! This place is horrible especially on the elderly. My mother was living in a black mold infested apartment. She had gotten so sick she had to be hospitalized! She isn't living in this apartment and has to continue to pay rent because they will not let her out of her lease! The staff is so mean and disrespectful to her it ridiculous. She is currently battling cancer and has to worry about losing everything in her apartment due to the mold.

      I live in Senior bldg. I like my apt. I have not been here a year yet. My rent is $850 currently and is supposed to be raised to $1173! This is highway robbery! I work and feel as if they are trying to get all they can! As much as I like my place, I will be applying for INCOME based housing. Once I am admitted off a wait list. I am out! Greed is all I can say. I am a person, not a number. One check does not even cover this. Saddened and disappointed in Columbus, Ohio What goes around comes around, Karma
