We bought a sectional from them and paid for the warranty they push that covers basically everything. Well the decorative stitching is falling off all over the couch and the cheap metal framing of one of the recliners gave out and bent inwards. Now anytime any one uses it you have to get in by hand and bend it back into place before you can close it. I submitted a claim to the warranty company and after a long process and having to take a day off work to sit all day and wait for the repair man we received a email saying the damage is a result of an accumulation of stains and general soiling. Other than those to issues my sectional is spotless and in perfect condition. So I call in and I am told that it is because I filled 2 issues on one claim. One the warranty terms it says you must report any found issues within 24 hours so thats what I did. When I called the VCF that we bought the furniture we were told sorry your out of luck. We have bought several things from VCF but we can not in good conscience get anything else from them and I recommend anyone thinking of buying from them to take a closer look.American Signature Inc.

I regret purchasing from Value City Furniture, especially after noticing the number of 1-star reviews on the BBB. Unfortunately, *** now had the same experience. I ordered a couch and a dining set, and both arrived with major issues.The couch was delivered defective....its supposed to be a pull-out, but it does not function as it was installed incorrectly. You have to use excessive force to even attempt pulling it out, and it still wont open properly. It also arrived missing hardware, which left the installation incomplete, and the power cord was missing despite the product listing saying it was included. Ive received no written response or confirmation that this issue will be addressed.The dining set was also delivered incomplete. Only the table arrived, none of the chairs were delivered. The delivery team confirmed they were not given the full inventory and said the chairs would come later, but I never received any update or written confirmation. The delivery was rushed and disorganized. Although the workers were kind, I had to remind them multiple times what was supposed to be included in my order.I have called and emailed customer service, but I have not received a proper resolution or timeline for when the missing or defective items will be addressed. At this point, I am requesting a refund or chargeback for receiving incomplete and defective furniture, along with poor follow-up. I truly regret this purchase and hope others will read reviews like mine before making a decision.American Signature Inc.

My wife and I purchased several pieces of furniture from this company back in March and have still not received all of our order, it is now halfway through June and one of the pieces keeps getting pushed back now saying August we will see if that even happens, sometimes they say October over the phone. They delivered the headboard and footboard of our bed with no rails so now we just have those sitting in our room like we are a storage facility for the incomplete pieces they decide to deliver sometimes, instead of customers who paid them quite a bit of money for furniture we are not sure we will ever even see. Each time we talk to someone from the company no one seems to know what they are doing or when we can expect this to end. We both work full time as nurses and the constant trickling in of small parts of deliveries has been a nightmare, we very much regret doing business with this company and strongly urge others to look elsewhere when deciding to buy furniture.American Signature Inc.

I am extremely disgusted and frustrated with Value City. I purchased a dining table and chairs set and one of the chairs was damaged when we received it. We followed all the protocols and let them know immediately. This was back in April. We were told the chair would be replaced and now they've ghosted us entirely. I've called many times, left many messages, been promised a call at least 5 times and nothing happens. I would give zero stars if I could. Do not buy from Value City Furniture.American Signature Inc.

My delivery date was scheduled by them and moved 5 times. 6 weeks after the initial delivery was supposed to happen, my sectional arrived only to be damaged. Some days they contacted me to let me know they werent coming the following day as late as 8pm, sometimes they didnt call to reschedule at all. When the couch arrived damaged the delivery team assured me that someone would be in touch to schedule a repair. After waiting 2 weeks for someone to get in touch, I called customer service. After much ************ (they told me the delivery team didnt communicate the damage) they agreed to scheduled a free repair. The day they scheduled for someone to come out, no one came. I then called back to try and get it resolved and theyre telling me someone has been out of work and it will be an additional 1 month waiting time to get scheduled for repair. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. Get your furniture anywhere else. Their customer service department is also very rude, unprofessional and condescending when they speak to you, like its somehow your fault theyre failing to deliver.American Signature Inc.

I ordered my furniture two months ago. They have since then canceled delivery five times now and rescheduled. I moved into my new home two months ago and still have no furniture. I ask who I need to speak with and they just say I dont know. Im just customer service but have a nice day. My question is why would they sell a product? They cant keep up with manufacturing on? Im writing to express my deep frustration with a recent experience at Value City on ****************** on May 29, 2025. What began as a positive interaction left me humiliated, disrespected, and mistreated by your staff.Two days earlier, I spoke with ****, who assured me my delivery was set for 2:305:00 PM. He was courteous and professional, and I arranged my schedule around that timeframe, stressing I was unavailable earlier due to meetings. To my surprise, I received a message the night before stating it had been moved to 8:3011:00 AMignoring our prior conversation.When I called, ***** said the time couldnt be changed. I visited the store to explain, but she denied **** would have confirmed a time and claimed calls werent recorded. I reiterated that I had made my morning unavailability clear.Things escalated when ***** jumped into the conversation, pointed in my face, and told me to get out of the store. When I asked her not to point at me, she replied mockingly, You pointed a pen, so I can point my finger. Her behavior was aggressive, unprofessional, and unacceptable.Ive been a loyal customer and recommended your store because of great service from ****** ***** and *****. This experience left me distressed and unsure if I can return. After ****** threats, ******, the operations manager, rescheduled for June 10 and promised to follow up. He called during my meeting, and despite 15+ return calls, no one answered until after he had left.Ive been patient and cooperativeconfirming the delivery in person, only to be misinformed again. My sister followed up in-store and was told the delivery was the following week. Despite my calm efforts, I was met with confusion, hostility, and threats.I request a formal acknowledgment, internal review, and restitution for the emotional and logistical hardship Ive endured.P.S. We purchased 4 sectional couches. Let me tell you, these were not cheap. Skylar (Saleman) was helpful and answered all of our questions. Unfortunately this is where it ended. During the delivery our walls were damaged from the delivery service (Rapid Response). Before moving in the future we offered taking off the guardrails to give space in the hallway, or if needed we could put them in the garage since we were moving soon. They refused and proceed by damaging the walls and then asking me what to do. After the couches were moved, they left in a hurry leaving the sheet they use to file if there were or were not damages. After multiple phone calls for a month and a half, this still has not been resolved. I explained multiple times I would be moving at the end of May and would need this repaired by then. I have rarely had someone call me back and have had to reach out multiple times to Value City *********************************, and Rapid Response (moving company). The local owner of ************** (******) keeps saying he will provide an update, but as expected nothing happens. He has resorted to staying the delivery team took pictures of damages that were there previously but refuses to send pictures of this (Cause there are none). Time will tell if the couches will hold up or just as bad as they're service/support. This seems like a cash grab and them just waiting until I move so they don't have to paid for the damages they caused.American Signature Inc.

Terrible! They sell the furniture and then change delivery, suggest picking other furniture, push back dates, never have any solid information on when an item is available or can be delivered, yet sell it and say it is available. Dishonest and just bad overall experienceAmerican Signature Inc.
