      My furniture was delivered and damaged by a third-party delivery. VALUE CITY assumes no responsibility and I have yet to be compensated for my damages. Reaching out to corporate was a headache because they have a very nonchalant attitude. I have been waiting after almost 2 months for a response to have my damages repaired. They have poor customer service as no one reached back out to me as promised. After speaking to several people in the corporate office, including ***, ******** and ******, I still have not received feedback. Also, no one bothered to reach out to me to see if my claim was handled. I had to continuously call the store week after week for an update.

      On March 24, 2024 @4:23 P.M., I purchased an ******* ********* bedroom set that was $1700.00+ and added the special designed chest drawer for an additional $1000.00. The sale allowed 20% to be removed from the final sale price. I paid $1,671.17 by debit card. The remaining $1,000 (for the special designed chest drawer) was placed on a VCF credit card with special financing. I assumed that the sales representative, *** *., would be available if there were further questions/concerns. I agreed to have the furniture delivered on May 17, 2025, but had to reschedule (more than 24 hours in advance) to May 23, 2025. Time was taken from work for the May 23, 2025, delivery as well. During rescheduling, I discovered that *** *. did not record my telephone number correctly but was assured that they would correct on May 15, 2025. As of today, it is not corrected causing communication issues. Upon delivering "2" items, the contracted delivery drivers confirmed that they only had a mirror and a dresser today. When I contacted the manager of Cranberry Twp., PA's VCF, she confirmed and claimed that an email was sent to alert me of the shortcomings. As of this moment, the email was not located (not even in SPAM). Later, during the conversation with the female manager of the Cranberry Twp, PA VCF, I was informed that a record of the special designed chest did not exist. I explained that the promotion included the headboard/footboard/dresser mirror for under $1,800.00 but I added the special designed chest to the order for an additional $1,000.00. If video footage is retained, you'll hear the former sale representative, and another witness verify it. Today, there were not enough contractors to safely deliver the dresser and mirror. To add insult to injury, the manager of the Cranberry Twp., PA VCF said the records do not display the purchase of the special designed chest. Although, your former employee does not work with VCF anymore, a higher level of integrity should be upheld.

      Atrocious experience. They've delayed my order 6 times (over 2 months). Ignored all contacts for 6 weeks until I said the words "one star review" then, immediate phone call. Still don't have my items. They have told me several lies, I guess to placate me?

      In December 2024 I ordered a recliner with a delivery date of the 1st week of May 2025. I was to get text message updates On 04/30/2025 I called for an update and was told delivery was June 5th. I said to cancel the order and was told they could try to get it 05/29. I never received any text updates. ***** told me my money would go back to the account that I paid from in 4 days. After 5 business days I check their credit card that I had paid through. The refund was there. I contacted the ** company and was told I had to request a check which will take 7-10 more business days. ***** chose her wording as I was led to believe it would go back to my bank. Poor customer service when they leave you hanging after the sale and you get inaccurate information.

      This was by far the worst experience I have ever faced when it came to furniture shopping. I went into the ************, ******** location with the expectation of purchasing a living room and bedroom set for my new home. I would absolutely not recommend this store to anyone. For the amount of money spent, this level of service is outrageous. At the very least, I deserve compensation for the unnecessary stress, disrespect, and time I lost throughout this ordeal.

      Ordered a powered recliner Sectional on March 17. The couch has now been delayed 3 times with a delivery date of JUNE 26th. Now mind you I paid for this couch in FULL. This is ridiculous by this place.

      Salesman was kind and helpful. End of that. Delivery staff were grumpy and indifferent. Was supposed to get living room furniture all in one day, but tables were out of stock and postponed. Sofa delivery was outside of delivery window 9:30 - 11am. They arrived at 9am and were angry I wasn't there. They called me twice while I was on my way wanting to know where I was and threatening to leave. When I got there at 9:20 they were rude. Now I'm supposed to get tables tomorrow. Delivery window was 8 - 9am. Fine. Then they changed it to 9 - 11am. Fine. Now they changed it to 11am - 2:45pm. This conflicts with a medical appointment so I had to reschedule delivery. So they charged me a 50 dollar rescheduling fee. The whole time I was on the phone with their delivery support staff, she was rude and condescending to me, arguing with me that I didn't understand delivery operations. I bought this furniture in March and will not have it fully delivered till end of May. Very dissatisfied with Value City Furniture and thinking of getting a refund on my tables. Advice: do not deal with Value City Furniture. They are rude. Go somewhere else.

      Im asking myself why would I trust & buy anything that had to be delivered. My sister waited almost 3 months for her sectional couch. Im moving one week from today with no couch no mattress no accent chart, delivery cancelled for 4-days latert ??

      Please review before your purchase. We spent $6000 on a sofa that took 1 month to deliver 1 piece of the soda and now 5 weeks before we get the second piece. We are in disbelief. We will NEVER purchase from here again. Got the warranty in case the quality ends up being poor. Why doesn't the company CEO care about their awful reviews and try to get deliveries performed in one week??? Sorry for the embarrassment of the sales team and delivery men for their process flows.

      Do NOT purchase a warranty from this company . They do not follow through , weve been repairing our kitchen table and chairs every couple days for two years . We go to utilize warranty and been told its normal wear and tear they stripped the would with screws . Management never returns calls back from ************ location. Not to mention we were told we can reselect our couch and then new manager says no ! Does not care about customer satisfaction
