    This company refused to send someone to look at my items, so therefore, they ended up charging more monies $3000 more.
    I have called numerous times to get pricing on storage with NO return call. I’m sure that fee will be more than quoted also.
    I have called numerous times to get a delivery scheduled for MY belongings and have NEVER received a call back - every time I was told they would call back within 48 hours. No one ever has.
    I have been waiting over three weeks for anyone to return my call and give me a delivery date. I have emailed, left numerous messages, spoke to three plus persons.
    No one will respond.

    I recently did business with Always one. I moved from Maryland to Michigan. The first contact, a guy named *****, was extremely competent, and was able to answer just about all of my questions. I was verbally guaranteed that my things would arrive in Michigan on a particular date. However, the contract stated something totally different. When the time came to move, the movers were extremely competent and friendly, and did an excellent job. When I arrived in Michigan, my things did not arrive as I was verbally guaranteed. My things arrived 10 days later. The problem was that when I called Always one to find out where my things were, I was not given answers. The contact person, named, Tiana, was incompetent with her responses, and even hung up on me because she was not able to answer some of my questions concerning my things, as to when they would arrive to Michigan. I was not rude to her; did not call her out of her name; didn’t even use a curse word, but she hung up on me. I was told many times that dispatch would contact me. Dispatch never contacted me. Communication is the key to any form of business. I would have even appreciated a “I don’t know where your things are at the moment“ than to be ignored. The lack of acknowledgement or responses to my questions concerning the whereabouts of my belongings is unacceptable and very bad business. The movers, who have nothing to do with Always one moving company, were phenomenal. The lack of responses to my questions gives this business a three star rating. Had communication been better, I would have easily given them a five star rating.

    First off, I can't believe this company isn't even accredited and somehow has an A-.
    So like most people, I was also screwed by this company. Due to my job, I had to initiate a last minute move and setup my pick up date for the following week. Paid the 20% up front to lock-in my date with no issues. However then you receive a secondary email explaining the price breakdowns and you THEN learn 40% is due upon loading in Cash, Money Order, Wire Transfer or ZELLE (mobile app), and the other 40% is due upon delivery in Cash, Money Order or Zelle again.
    Naturally when I call them back and try to cancel, I'm told that I'm outside the 7 day window and they could postpone my pickup but no refund can be issued. So I just lost about $600 which I'm going through my credit card company to fight but I have little hope due to their contract. I'll obviously be very upset to lose that money, but I'm still going to feel better moving my stuff alone rather then risk my belongings with these SCAM ARTISTS

    A bunch of crooks! You are given less than 24 hour notice as to when pick up will be and you at their mercy as to when they pick up. Delivery is NOT guaranteed when you need it to be delivered and if you or someone is not available they will threaten to drop off at a storage facility and you’re on your own. If your driveway is NOT in front of the door to the house then that is an extra $75 “long carry fee”. Both at pick up and delivery the crew leaves their trash at both locations and expect you to clean it up. Their departments (sales, customer service, transportation) DO NOT talk to each other which lead to NUMEROUS miscommunication issues in my situation. They’re nice in the sales call but after that they want your money and piss off from there! DO NOT USE THEM!

    Not even worthy of 1 star. This company is disgusting and repulsive in the way do business. The movers were beyond rude and disrespectful. They did do an amazing job of earning my business through my first point of contact. But once I paid the deposit, it was a bait & switch. THE CONTRACT CHANGED TWO DIFFERENT TIMES DURING THE MOVE. The original paper copy they gave me the day they came to pick up didnt match what was emailed to me. When they arrived the paper contract changed AGAIN! They have a plethora of different ways they'll nickel & dime you. When they tell you their departure date they fail to mention thats day 1 of their window. We drove across the country because the movers told us upon pickup that they were taking the truck to the warehouse and leaving the next day. It was another almost 4 weeks until the moving truck showed up at our house. I am happy for the few people who left multistar reviews as they didnt have to deal with the stress, heartache, and quite literally the feeling of being sick to your stomach after every phone call. Please do your due diligence and research the best company for your move, because Always 1 Moving is NOT it.

    This company is a scam. Quoted $7ks and we ended up paying more than $17ks. They lost my household goods and we got them almost 4 weeks later. Halve of our stuff was damaged or completely broken. We submitted a claim and we got $200 back. That dont even cover my computer monitor. Comunication is horrible and when you finally get someone on the phone they keep swnding you somewhere else. I feel they took advantage of us. I been in the military for more than 20 years and we move a lot but this time it was the worse experience ever.

    Gave me a price via phone interview and sending pictures of my boxes and home goods, when they showed up - They doubled the price! Too late to find someone else. Moved from NJ to Utah. When they picked up my belongings in NJ they had a 30' truck. When they arrived LATE in Utah they had an 18 wheeler which was never mentioned to me. It wouldn't fit in the storage facility. The driver said we was going to rent a U-HAUL transfer my stuff to the smaller truck...All for an extra $1,500.!!!!! I wasn't present relying on friends who didn't fall for their SCAM and arranged for another facility that would accommodate the larger truck. While unloading the boxes 70% of them were crushed. Several calls to Always #1's "customer service" yelded not a single returned phone call. In a nutshell I would have this SCAM OUTFIT move a load of DOG CRAP!!! STAY CLEAR NO MATTER WHAT PRICE THEY GIVE YOU... The positive reviews on this site about them have to be FAKE or employees.....BAD NEWS!!!

    Worst moving company ever. Stay away. They are thieves and crooks. All of these 1 star reviews mirror everything we experienced. This company should go out of business with the way they handle themselves.

    This company is terrible. Hired them to move my 84-year-old parents from ** to *******. Not only were A LOT of my items damaged, but A LOT was also missing. Most important was an electric lift chair for my father. They damaged my grandmother's ***** which was packed not only in dish packing sleeves but also in bubble wrap for protection. They are careless with your items. My parents are devastated at the loss and damage. We also had to pay an additional $300 "under the table" because the people who came to load the truck said they had a lot to pack. We questioned this because we had just been there packing up the home. They told us it was better to pay them cash than to go through the office. My flight up to ** was unfortunately delayed and we got there just as they were leaving. It is terrible to think about how people take advantage of others. Stay away if you want your items to arrive undamaged or arrive at all...No responsibility for their actions.

    Company is awful, the movers themselves are great but this company is full of liars. They say they will take all sorts of payment but when it comes time to actually pay they say cash only and wouldn't accept even a cashier's check. When I tried to speak to a supervisor they wouldn't let me and wouldn't even tell me then name of who the supervisor is. I believe they are trying to subvert paying taxes by only accepting cash and holding the items hostage. Stay away from this place!
