I have read the dispatch since 1976 and a subscriber since 1978. I had home delivery until they stopped it in my area. I then had full digital access. I could not access my acct this morning. I was given an email to contact. That email returned as not deliverable.??????? I then called the phone #. It was in the Philippines. After ONE hour on the phone I gave up. AGAIN I have been a faithful paying customer since 1978!!! I was told they can’t even see I’ve ever had an acct. At age 70 I have had only 2 home addresses, 1 email and 1 home and 1 cell # in my lifetime. They couldn’t pull my account with any of this. I felt they were portraying me as a liar, sad after taking your money that many years and being so loyal. I was hoping to brag I read the dispatch until I died but after this treatment, that bucket list off the table. I always read life and arts first. I will sure miss my morning Marmaduke and family circus and abbeys road every Sunday but I will find something to fill the void. The days of good customer service is sure hard to find anymore and especially with the Columbus dispatch. They need bring their customer service back in the office where ppl care and respect your loyalty.

I encourage Columbus Dispatch to actively promote mental health awareness to educate your employees at Columbus Dispatch about different mental health conditions and how to access support. I would like to remind Columbus Dispatch that their language matters. Using mental health conditions as adjectives are problematic so think twice about making comments. You wouldnt make fun of someone with diabetes, heart disease or cancer, etc. Mental illness also goes along with that as-well. Stigmatizing mental illness can lead to harm, and with Columbus Dispatch being a public identity this can cause harm for a mass of people. As a person who suffers from mental illness and knows people who do as-well, we are affected by public identity's like Columbus Dispatch who make negative or discriminatory attitudes about mental illness. Comparing by stating ********** Fans are in a state of psychosis because of being angry after a sports loss is disrespectful to people who suffer from Psychosis everyday like me. I would like Columbus Dispatch to please apologize to the mass of people who suffer from mental illness and mental disorders on the daily after posting the Article Ohio State Football Fans demand nothing but perfection, and that is profoundly sad and the statement that was given from ******* ***** stating that ********** Football fans are incompetent because they are in a state of Psychosis. It upsets me to see a publication (Columbus Dispatch) here in Columbus Stigmatize and discriminate against Mental health, especially for how diverse this city is. I really hope after reading this, Columbus Dispatch insures that its crucial to ****** a supportive environment by using inclusive language, promoting open conversations about mental health, and actively working to dispel harmful stereotypes that perpetuate stigma.

I have the same problem as ****** *. After I cancelled my subscription - no problem with that, thanks for the small favor - the Columbus Dispatch will not leave me alone. They call several times a day every day. I know what they want. They want me to renew. I don't answer. There is no way to block these calls. If I block a number they use another one. Generally I sleep during the day. When these calls come in they wake me up. It is extremely irritating. I can't disconnect my phone. I might miss an important call.If their business is so bad that they think they must resort to these low tactics, they ought to fold. That would finally put all of us out of our misery, for this problem anyway.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE Would give 0 stars if that was on option. Judging by previous responses it doesnt look like this complaint will do any good either.A couple months ago a new delivery person started and delivered my paper to my neighbors over 15 times in a row, despite me contacting the dispatch, talking to numerous customer service representatives and supervisors, Finally a couple weeks layer they got it right. This month we requested a vacation hold which was scheduled to be restarted a week ago , Still no paper after once again talking to customer service personnel on 3 occasions telling me that it should have been restarted and will resume the next day.Still no paper today so I called several numbers and cannot get a cust service rep to answer, just recordings. Thats what happens when there a no other choices. On the one good note, high school sports coverage has really improved lately or at least had the last time I got a paper.

At some point I signed up for a digital subscription at a promotional rate over an extended period. I subsequently forgot about it, and at the end of the term my credit card was charged. I received no email telling me I was about to be charged, and their statement that it was because my account was on EZ Pay is not acceptable; all my other automatic payments still send a notice days before charging. I had forgotten about the subscription, and would have cancelled before the charge had I received the email, which I'm sure is why they don't send such a notice so that they get an additional month at full rate to offset the promotional discount. I chose not to argue the charge as I'm sure it was in the fine print of what I agreed to, but that doesn't make it any less a dirty tactic.

Is the Dispatch TRYING to go out of business???? Previously comments , along with my experience is awful CUSTOMER SERVICE. I pay , by card, after a call saying I has cancelled. Pay over hundred dollars on March 20 that was to take me to June. No paper in 14 days. Three calls, three different answer. Last says, Adminisation fees???????????? so I received around 2 weeks of papers for over hundred dollars????? Seriously????????? I assume I will NOT see any of reminding$. And NO PAPER. I understand some business are NOT receiving the paper either. These does not look like any customer service.

I don’t know how the Dispatch stays in business. Last week I got ONE paper. No paper on Sunday (3/31/24). Got Monday paper. A miracle. No paper today. Have called, emailed to complain. Does no good. They are soooo sorry. Nothing is done. Will be cancelling at the end of this week. Am tempted to disallow payment on credit card for failure to deliver product. I would definitely join a collective lawsuit against the so called company! ******* *****l

I am supposed to be getting a 6 month online subscription for $1. The past 3 months they have taken $19.99 off my card. Called in January and they said they would refund my money. Never recieved refund. Today ( 2/6/24) they again took $19.99 off of my card, so I am now asking for 3 months of $19.99 be refunded to my card. It is also real complicated to get an actual person on the phone. If I could give this 0 stars, I would.
