    After receiving 1 delivery in 3 months and filing multiple complaints, I can't recommend The Dispatch. It was extremely frustrating that the Dispatch support was unable or unwilling to resolve the issue. After the 4th call, I finally reached a supervisor who called the delivery person directly to resolve the issue.

    Hi, I am really sorry to hear this has been your experience. Based on your information, you were credited for each reported missed delivery. Each agent you spoke to escalated your concerns as they advised you, that they would. The notes on your account indicate you stopped delivery before the escalation could be resolved due to your Sunday-only delivery. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your thoughts.

    I have reached out trying to get a response from Gatehouse regarding accidental payment. In hopes of speaking to a bookkeeper or accountant. Have yet to hear anything and from all the reviews *** seeing an likely not to.

    Zero stars. Our business paid for 52 weeks of service for 2022 ($648.08 with a 20% tip for the delivery), and did not wish to renew for 2023, Unbeknownst to us, if one does not renew, one begins to incur a fee for not cancelling. The subscription was up for renewal July 24th (yesterday, as of this writing), and we have been informed that we owe $71 already. In looking over last year's renewal form, there is nothing anywhere on the form indicating that one will incur a fee if one does not renew. Utterly PATHETIC SERVICE!! We have attorneys in our family and I am contacting them to look over the form that I have from last year. Nothing on the renewal form says that they will charge us a fee if we do not renew. I can see why this business gets an F rating from the BBB.

    Thank you for your response, however it is incorrect. I carefully read the back of the renewal form, and it does not say that subscriptions will be automatically renewed. It does say that one can use the ** pay option (credit card on file), which would then automatically renew the subscription unless cancelled. I always pay for the subscription with a check, however. Our company has never used credit card to pay for the subscription. Our attorney family member read the form as well and agrees with us in how the form is worded, that it does not state that it will automatically renew. It says very clearly "your subscription is about to EXPIRE". Nothing is said about it automatically renewing. We did finally get to talk to a representative yesterday, who amazingly, tried to coerce us into giving our credit card info for a "special deal" for renewal. I realize that in this era of internet information that it must be challenging for print newspapers to succeed, however, using devious techniques to extract money from your faithful readers is not the way to stay afloat financially. Our company has had a subscription with The Dispatch since the ****s, and we are frankly appalled by how this has ended.

    Was once a long time subscriber and then stopped due to cost and poor service! Gave it a try years later for weekend only and service became terrible so I canceled! Two weeks ago someone called to try to get me back and I agreed to try Sunday only. No paper last Sunday! Several contacts today, Sunday, and still no paper! The call service keeps saying that they are sending someone and registering the complaint. Final time has now passed and the voice service center says it's too late to speak with anyone! You are a fraud and your customer service sucks!!

Based on your information you do not have a specific carrier, this caused managers and substitute carriers to deliver the route when theirs was completed. This has caused delays and inconsistencies.     I have tried repeatedly to get our paper delivered, to no avail.Did you know that if you can call in and get by the automated horsecrap (hit 0 repeatedly) that you will connect to a call center in either Columbia or ***************.I cannot believe that the Dispatch would contract with such a dog of a company (apologies to dogs) that has multiple unresolved delivery problems. SHAME ON THE DISPATCH!!
