Originally agreed to pay $150/mo since 11/2021. Barely used the lackluster service. Found it to be a waste of money and failed to deliver on any quality lead. I was ok paying for year 1. When I emailed the company 30 days before renewal notice (which is plenty of time to cut ties especially with a digital platform) I am greeted by a stern representative who is quick to point out the “60 days “ contract and offer no other help. Because communication is still ongoing I will state my case to the AE who will inevitably deny me any mercy in assistance to canceling my contract. I will be forced to be sent to collections all because a company and it’s employee are not willing to be helpful in a time of need. I am curious why a company would want to continue to collect money from dissatisfied customers instead of focusing on providing value thru their product?Initial Complaint

This is an awesome product but unfortunately, the company is a scam and will charge your credit card even after you cancel. I canceled within days and 3 months later they are still charging me. Even though the CEO ******* ********* contacted me and I complained he did nothing about the scammer ***** ***** and his enabler *** ********. As a busy executive, I have spent way too much time trying to remove my credit card, and still no refund. Save yourself the headache and stay far away from this company.Initial Complaint

When I originally became a Seamless.AI customer, I was working for myself under my own LLC called ********** **********. Through my time under contract with Seamless.ai, I went into another business called ****** ********. This was also another recruiting business. In that time, I switched my user account email to ********@******.ai. The business partnerships under that email did not work out and I am back to working as a solo entrepreneur under **********. Due to ****** ******** closing, my email address was also shut down. As a result, I am unable to access my Seamless.AI account. During this time, Seamless has been NON STOP sending my payment reminders to autorenew. However, I cannot access my account due to the email address change. I had reached out to Seamless via email twice (9/25/22 and 9/6/22) for password reset help. No response. However, they continue to harass me with payment reminders over and over. 1st reminders and 2nd reminders, but I have still NOT received password-reset assistance and can't even get to my account.
This customer services is terrible. One of the very few emails I received was about payment only and according to it, b/c I did not give 60 DAYS NOTICE FOR RENEWAL, I'm locked in for another year. That is terrible!! A scam!! I've request cancellation several times with confirmation of such and I have yet to receive a reply.
The more research I've done, them more I've seen similar customer complaints. I want my account cancelled with no repercussions.
Below is the email history Seamless' payment request of me for 2022:
9/15 - Sent 3 times by 2 different sources (1 from "******" - I replied, no response)
9/16 - 2 times
9/18 - Sent 3 times by 2 different sources - (1 from "******" including to get in touch if I have any problems. No response to request to cancel.)
9/20 - 1 time
I have replied 2+ asking to close my account. The last time was today telling them I want confirmation in writing. No reply again.Business Response

This statement is false. They called me only once. I repeatedly reached out to them via email to resolve, often having to follow-up thereafter for a status update.
As of Tuesday, 10/11, I was told by "*****" via email (FYI, no last name, phone number or email included in his signature), that "***** will be reaching back out to you at some point today to discuss this further if he hasn't reached out directly." He didn't call.
My goal here is to gain a professional resolution to cancelling my account.

I’ve been trying to cancel my account for over a month. Nobody will respond to my emails or call me back.
The email contacts I receive aren’t good quality. The majority of them bounce back. I don’t want this service anymore because I can’t use any of it.

They misleadingly claim that their data is accurate, yet almost all of the phone numbers and email addresses are inaccurate and will lead to high spam rates and if you do get the point where you do retrieve one or two accurate numbers or emails, you've probably already been moved to the spam folder or blocked. The fact that they require you to sign a year long contract should've already been enough of a red flag because no reputable company with a valuable SAAS product does that, but this is not a smart solution for any business owner looking to add a lead generation strategy.Initial Complaint

On May 29th we went through the business website to cancel services. One month later we heard a from a Sales Representative Blake who said we could not cancel as our contract renewed. We got no notice of such a renewal and expressed a desire to cancel. During these discussions back and forth we had no active use of the platform that we paid for. The sales rep said we could pay more money to have active use while we figured out how to cancel. All of this discussion took place one month after we had requested to cancel. Seamless AI continues to charge us despite numerous attempts to cancel, and disputes with our credit card company. Please help us cancel and move on so we can stop the charges. We no longer had use despite paying the bill each month. Seems a little unreasonable to hold hostage the platform while continuing to bill the client.Initial Complaint

MOBI HQ has been trying to cancel our account with Seamless.ai since December 2021. Previous to this we were unable to access the software as we we're given the run around about who had admin rights to the account so we had been trying since June 2021. Yet we are still getting charged $400+ a month.
We have sent email after email after email, sometimes with a delayed response but often with no response at all. We have spoken to Victor L, Brandon B, Justin via [email protected]. We have tried connecting via LinkedIn, Facebook and sending emails to the CEO and we're even able to connect with a senior leader at seamless (July/Aug 2022) who told us that he would help rectify our problem, our account was still being charged.
Our credit card had expired, but Seamless.AI somehow got our updated credit card details and only upon our finance department lodging a complaint with our bank have the charges stopped. But to our surprise after seamless going dark for the past 9 months, they've finance department has now reached out for us to review our billing details?

Seamless.ai is not an overly useful product for lead generation. We used them initial as a test and agreed to a 1 year deal. After not using them we emailed to have them cancel our contract. They pretty much said to bad it will auto renew for a second year and automatically charged our CC. We now have to go through disputing it via our CC company. I would highly recommend people stay away from this service as they clearly try to scam their users out of money.Business Response

Mr. ***** signed an annual contract with an explicit auto renewal clause in June 2021. A courtesy auto renewal notification email was sent to him ahead of his June 2022 renewal notifying him of the upcoming charge should he decide to elect to opt out of the renewal. No response was provided, so the contract was renewed per the terms stated and agreed upon. At this time our Customer Success team is reaching out to Mr. ***** to review options for moving forward and provide a compromise acceptable to both parties while honoring the terms of the agreement.Initial Complaint

This business is a scam. I was supposed to get a trial period and instead I was charged the full amount. They do everything possible to set it up this way. Customer did not provide notice of cancellation as per the terms of their contract, however, they disputed the charge on renewal and won the case. So that amount was never charged for the additional 12 months
