      We got our taxes done March 8 of 2025 and was told we were receiving a return after a month went by. We contacted tax service left a couple messages. No return call also sent an email. Nothing returned. We called the *** and they stated that the return was rejected six times. Havent heard from the company at all trying to correct the problem wenttoday to the office. No one in the office called several times today went to voicemail and voicemail is full, so it hangs up, not giving any answers. We pay for our services and have not got a response to this day.

      Filed my 2024 Federal/State Taxes with this crooked establishment on March 19, 2025. I went to check my refund status to find out they have not been filed. I called the ************* don't answer so I returned to the office on April 2, 2025 to inquire what was going on with my taxes to find out they never submitted it & that it would be that day. To this day, my tax information still has not been received. Today, April 10th, I went out to their office. As I knocked on the door, the lady sitting at the desk did not look or acknowledge & a young man came out the office & motioned with his finger, wait a minute & never came back. I continued to knock to no avail. I entrusted & paid for their services & got nothing. I now have to go & get my taxes filled again by next Tuesday.

      BBB transcribed from hard copy complaint form received via walk-in visit to BBB office:I have worked for this company the week of March 24th 2025. I worked 29.5 hours at ***** hr. ************ refuse to pay me for what I earned! When I showed up April 4th to collect my check she told the employees to turn the lights out and leave.

      On Feb 16, 2025, I went to **********************-Kenyon Tax Services.

      Ms. ****** ********************** worked on my taxes. I was told the cost was $****** upon completing my taxes. Ms. ****** ********************** did not make mention that additional fees were coming out of my taxes no did she explain about a third party company processing the payment. The company Ms. ********************** used was **************** based in based in ********** and additional fee of $172.95 was taken out of my Federal and State taxes.

      If the third party was disclosed at the time of me making an appointment or prior to doing my taxes, I would have made a choice to either allow Ms. ********************** to do my taxes or go elsewhere. 

      Ms. ********************** should return my ****** plus the $172.95 for being deceptive and unclear regarding her business practices. I know I wasn't the only Ms. ********************** did this to.

      This company deserves a 0 Star rating I am filing a complaint again White-Kenyon Tax Services for overcharging and not delivering my tax documents correctly. On February 25, 2025 I went to White-Kenyon Tax Services (Formerly ******* ***** *** ********) to get my taxes done, and I was charged $508.00 to get my Federal and State taxes done. On March 12, 2025 I received a deposit from an unknown company, when I was expecting my money from the ***. I noticed that the amount that was being deposited was less than the amount that I was told I would receive. I then looked at my tax documents and found that the second page of my *********************************************************************** my folder also. I called the company and inquired about my taxes and was told to make an appointment. I did make an appointment, but on the day of my appointment no one was at the office. I looked into why my money was sufficiently different from what I was told I would receive. I found out the following: 1. White-Kenyon did not provide me with all of my taxes paper work after doing my taxes.2. White-Kenyon sent my taxes to a third party company to pay my refund and they without my permission.3. White-Kenyon charged an extra $672.00 for my taxes which was automatically withdrawn from the refund before I received the refund.4. White-Kenyon did not file my State Taxes.I paid $1,180.05 to get my taxes done, I did not receive all of my paper work nor did they file my State Taxes.

      My taxes were filed on 2/26/25. 3/30/25, I had an appointment to ask questions about my tax return and to obtain all tax documents. Owner ****** *. White was extremely rude and unprofessional! I could not get a straight answer on disclosure of Green Dot and associated fees. I did not sign or provide consent for my tax refund to go through Green Dot with fees (taken out of my refund) based on the Refund Transfer Fee Disclosure sheet. Additional site tax preparation prep fee of $110 and tax preparation electronic filing fee of $75 was taken from my refund as well. Also, ****** *. White indicated to my tax preparer ****** she did not have to answer anymore of my questions as I was trying to find out when Id receive my refund and charges *********** requesting a refund of all associated Green Dot/Extra Tax preparer fees in the amount of $357.95, as well as $721 as my state taxes were not filed (I went online and filed myself) and my daughters federal taxes were not filed (had filed for free). White-Kenyon has a copy of the supporting document so not uploading.

      I did not authorize/sign anything and was not made aware my refund would go through Green Dot. Upon calling Green Dot, received  information that the Preparer (White Kenyon) charged $110 Tax preparer document fee and $75 tax preparer electronic filling fee on top of what was on the refund transfer fee disclosure

      i Submitted my state taxes online 4/3 and my daughters Federal will be submitted 4/5.

      I had been using ****************** since 1999 with no problems at all. 

      I called to make an appointment, adn the front desk receptinist said that Mr. ***** had retired, and ****** White would be handling his clients. She told me it would be $213 total. 

      When I arrived for my appointment, I had $213 in cash in an envelope. ****** White said it would be $508. So I had to put $278 on our **** and $230 in cash. 

      I expected to get $2846 in refunds. The money was to be direct deposited into my **************** account.

      However, the deposit was only about $2500. I called to ask why the refund was short, she said there were transmission fees with Greendot.  That is the first I knew about ********. I said we never involved a third parrty before. She said she was using ******** software to prepare teh taxes. She said she is a licenesed agent for the ***.  I asked what that had to do with the refund. She tried to say teh sftware mr. ***** used would allow the deposit to go directly into bank accounts, but not the Greendot software.

      ****** White sent the state refund to us in the mail as it was under a hundred dollars.  

      On the *** papers instaed of entering our HNB account, she wrote "bank product applied for", Snata *******. I called Greendot, and they told me she received a kickback for using ************* rather than having the deposit go into our bank account. They also read me the list of their processing/handling fees.

      I called ******* ***** of ******* Tax to ask him to do my taxes, as he had done for the last 30 years. He told me he was retired and had sold the business to ****** White, and it would take her a little time to get set up.

      I made an apoointment with ******, and she did my taxes in January. I paid her $244 in cash. She told me that was all I would owe her. She said I would get about $1,320 in state and $1,224 in Federal. 

      never received a refund from IRS. So, I've been trying to get a copy of my taxes since then.

      I did not know she used a third party for my refund. She uses ******** to do the taxes. And due to that, ******** takes fees out of the refund. Greendot got over three hundred dollars. 

      I did not know my refund would go to ********. I never signed any paperowrk authorizing her to involve ********, or that I would pay any fees to Greendot. 

      I returned to the tax office several times to get my taxes. I reviewed my paperwork, and found transmission fees.  

      I went to ******* and it reflects my refund was issued on 2.26.25. I have been checking with my bank, and they say teh refund has never been deposited into my account. I spoke to ****** yesterday evening at the office, adn she told me I could come back today and get my check. She called this morning at 9a and said she would bring the check to my house. I said I would come to the office. She escalated saying she was unhappy about me coming to her office, and that she never wants me to see me in her office again. I was trying to get her to understand that I had been to her office several times for an explanation of the fees and for why I haven't received my refund. She said she would bring it to me in person or mail it. I asked her to bring it to me, and she said she would. 

      I do not understand how she can bring me my refund check as I signed paperwork for it to be deposited directly into my bank account.

      When I called to make the appointment I talked to the front desk and was told it would cost $213. I went in on 3.9.25 and ****** White said it would be $295. 

      She prepared teh taxes for me. My refund was direct deposited into my bank account. Her fees were put on a Green dot card. She told me I wouldn't have to pay a transmission fee. 

      I was charged $500 and the transmission fees were $247 for a total of $747.00.

      I attempted to have my taxes prepared by ****** White on 3/15/2025. Once I arrived at my appointment I was greeted by an adolescent who asked for 2 forms of ID and my 2023 tax return. The young man made copies of my documents and returned the originals to me.

      Once I was in the room with ****** she advised me that I was missing documents from my 2023 tax return. ****** advised me of the price for preparing my documents and advised me that she would take my payment of $395 and once I retrieved the documents to just bring them back in and she would complete my taxes. She gave me a business card and assured me that I wouldn't have to wait, I would just simply need to sign.

      After returning home, I went through my 2023 tax returns and didn't notice anything missing. I tried texting ****** via the phone number on her business card to receive clarification on what documents were needed but never received a response.

      On 3/16/ I called the office and spoke with the young man that copied my documents during my original visit. I asked him what documents were needed because he copied my 2023 tax returns in their entirety? He asked ****** and she said she needed my 2023 Tax returns and that she only received 2 documents from me. I asked the young man what was a good time to come into the office and he said ****** said just do your best.

      I arrived at the office on 3/16 at approximately 3pm and after knocking was eventually let in by the young man. I asked him do you remember copying my documents on 3/15 and he stated yes. I asked him what happened to them? He said I don't know. ****** then told him he was hardheaded and who was it? He said the woman from yesterday.

      I asked if my documents were ready to be signed? ****** responded no and the system is down so I can't complete them today but you can come in on 3/17 and I'll have them ready to sign. I asked for a refund and she refused.

      I've since called several times and even went to the office and was greeted by a locked door.
