4 starsOverall, the experience of purchasing a home was relatively seamless. I bought mine after it was built so I did not get the luxury of pre-inspection walkthroughs. There were a few issues when I moved and these are in the process of getting addressed. My only main issue is that it takes a considerable amount of time for these to get evaluated and fixed. Otherwise, the staff/employess are very friendly and cordial. I appreciate that they try to clean the streets as the mud can be an issue if not addressed.Review fromAdam W

Design Homes and their team delivered an amazing home. This was our second time building a custom home and they made it as painless as possible. They went above and beyond to ensure the house was perfect even identifying issues after the final walkthrough that we didn’t notice. If you are looking for a customer home Design Homes should definitely be at the top of your list.

Recently, my spouse and I used Design Homes to construct our first brand-new house. From the first time we viewed a model house, the DH team was incredibly helpful. People usually said that we would never do it again when we informed them we were building since it is extremely stressful. For us, DH made this process exciting and enjoyable! 3 starsHome was built on schedule with few quality issues. Like the development location. The downside to the builder is value proposition, small lots, expensive customization, and fairly rigid practices around how a customer can oversee the construction process. Unusual financing structure for a “custom builder”. Design homes is more like a high end tract builder than custom builder.Review frommelissa m

5 starsWe had just moved to the Dayton area, with no intention of moving anytime soon. However, our first visit to this home by Design Homes convinced us otherwise! We love the detail and quality finishes that went into building the home, as well as the big windows, open spaces, and high ceilings. Clearly there was much thought in designing a home that was both functional and beautiful. Not to mention the Soraya Farms neighborhood. We had a friend who visited us and initially thought we lived on a golf course. Great job, DH!
