      SCAM: Tried to file annual report for state. They took money, no follow up confirmation email, no annual report filed. Then I sent email, text to number and heard nothing back.

      SCAM!!! sends a letter to new small businesses making it seem like legit state LLC fees are due and even says "may be administratively dissolved or revoked is the 2025 annual registration fees are not paid by ___ date". Something seemed off since the fees were $225 per year, unlike actual state registration fees. Thank God I looked it up before paying. SMALL BUSINESSES BE WARE. Such a shame you work so hard to create a business for yourself and people like this try to scam you.

      I recieved a letter from this company that inferred and led you to believe they were a legit company needed to file state annual report- they are a complete scam that Charaged $150 for an annual report filing when you can do it directly thru the state for $18 and to make matters worse, the annual report on the state website does not show filed for this year even though i had been charged by them foir this.

      I don’t care how much they reply to all the negative reviews, this is a total misleading scam. Legitimate business or not. File directly with the state. It’s actually easier.

      I've never done business with the company, but every year they send us an official-looking notice that we need to file our Annual Report, or our company will be dissolved. I'm a sucker, and every year, I almost fall for it. My state charges an $18 fee to complete the Report online, while New Business Filing LLC charges $150. I'm sure they are providing a legitimate service, but the deceptive mailings and the pricing shouldn't be legal.

      Full disclosure: buried in the middle of the size 2-3 font disclaimers, there is a note that states New Business Filing LLC is not affiliated with any government office or agency. However, it claims that it is offering self-help business services at the request of and on behalf of the user. That's splitting hairs when your mailings are made to look official and the user feels like they have to do it or risk their livelihood.

      This is a scam. I got a letter that I thought was a legitimate letter and unfortunately paid the fee. Wanted to realize after talking to my attorney that this was an illegitimate request. Sent a complaint in requesting a refund, but they even price gouged with a refund fee. Small business be aware of this “company”

      This company is a total scam. They are fraudulent and deceiving. I received a letter that looked legit from the state re past due annual report. I scanned the barcode and filled out the information to realize it would cost $425. It looked suspicious, and I logged in to the CT government site, where, as expected, it was only $80. I wonder how they obtain the company info with the registration number. It's likely criminally obtained. Stay away.

      We do send out periodic notifications that an annual report is due, but our mailers have our logo, our web address, specifically say that we are not affiliated with any government agency and we do not have barcodes. You may have inadvertently confused our service with another.

      New Business Filing LLC... bunch of jokers! I fell prey to exactly what everyone else is reporting. The mailer looked like it had come from the Secretary of State, given that my Annual Report fee was due soon, I clicked on the QR code... and paid my "fee". I later looked up the fee schedule with the state because it seemed like it had gone up a lot since last year... that's when I figured out how crafty this business is in duping folks. Way to go! I was able to dispute the charge on my card and circumvent the charge, but, boy... how shady is this business!!!

      We do send notices to inform businesses that they are due for renewal. We also try to make the entire process as easy as possible, and do charge a fee for our service. It looks like you contacted out customer support team, and opted out of automatic renewals, but never contacted us back to actually cancel your order. Saying you "fell prey" seems rather disingenuous when we spoke with you personally, and you still wanted the service after asking about our pricing. Then before we processed the order, the filing was completed, so we refunded the payment. There was no disputed charge.
